The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 473

Min Hong was an otherworldly monster with apocalyptic talent in cultivation, comprehension, and an extremely wealthy background; one that could buy the entire Dynasty they were currently living in, and by everything she had seen and discovered so far, that seemed like a very unlikely theory…
"Why are you looking at me that way?"
Min Hong asked when he saw the princess' incredulous expression;
"You are incredible!" The Princess blurted…
Min Hong pulled her over and placed her on his chest, his face inches away from hers and they both didn't need to wait too long before giving each other some sugar…
The rest of the day went on sweetly for them as dusk descended on the region where the Inheritance ground was situated…
Meanwhile…
About 300 miles away in the opposite direction from which Min Hong's group was approaching the Inheritance Grounds…
Toom!
A tiny got of light abruptly appeared in the sky of this empty patch of jungle, and from that spot, a crack began to spread wide in lightning like pattern;
Creak! Streak!
The sound of a glass being strained could be heard as these patterns began to spread out for as long as about 10 meters, and then pieces of space dropped to the ground like the debris from a breaking mirror, and then;
Swish!
The space in the area then opened like an eye with the void directly visible within this eye in space;
Swoosh! Bang!
Something flashed out of the eye in space and crashed into the jungle, scaring away nearby spirit beasts, and after about another five seconds, the eye shut still and the crack in the sky began to repair itself, albeit at a slow rate, like the way the body would naturally repair a grievous wound…
Tracing the collision course of what crashed out of the tear in the sky, one would see a spherical depression of about 5 meters in radius there within the jungle with a figure right in the center of this depression…
Several massive trees with impossible girths had seen a huge chunk of their trunk chopped off, whilst others were snapped in half owing to the momentum of the crash, and right there around the depression was a ring of fire, and it would take a closer look for one to realize that they were actually flaming runes which was arranged in a ring shape…
"Ugh!"
The sound of a person with aching joints spilled out of the depression as the figure right in the middle finally moved;
"Argh!"
He gave another aching moan as he struggled to sit up on the ground;

Creak! Crack!
"~Ah!~"
He snapped the joints in his body back into their rightful place before letting out a pleasurable moan;
"Damn, to think I would spend three months jumping from portal to portal and dimension into dimensions, I am very lucky I have a Peak Saint Stage cultivation, otherwise, I would have literally died from the backlash innumerable consecutives jumps…"
The voice of a teenage boy complained from within the depression as he finally stood up and dust himself;
"Oh, I think I might throw up- Blergh!"
The youth didn't even get to finish his statement before puking;
"Shit, my body might take a while to adapt to these backlash…" The youth added as he stretched;
Cough! Cough!
"Eh?"
"Why is the air here so dirty and thin like this?" He looked around for a few minutes;
"Cultivating here must be so agonizing… Such low grade natural Qi…" The youth complained once again;
"Thank goodness I was given some resources, otherwise, I would probably be expelled out of school for being too weak…"
"Hehe, but there is an upside to coming here… Now I can do however I please without any elder looking to turn me into an ice sculpture, or Lord Rai using someone as specimen; Eew! I never want to go in there again…"
The youth who stood at exactly 6 feet in height cringed as he mumbled to himself groggily, an aftereffect of what he seemed to call jumping through multiple multidimensional portals…
Then after about half an hour of nonstop ramblings, the youth whilst fondling through his pockets felt something and froze before he began to ruffle the pocket more aggressively as he brought something out…
It was a nonagonal badge that was as wide as a full grown man's palm, reaching about five inches in diameter…
From first glance, this badge had nine gems at every point of its nonagonal shape, with one main gem at its center that was about thrice as large as the ones in its edges;
"Oh right! I was supposed to contact them and announce my successful arrival into this world…" The youth spoke as he placed the plate down and looked up into the sky;
"Alright, identify a nonagonal shaped light formation at any part of the sky, and placed this plaque right at its center…"
The youth mumbled to himself as he looked to the darkening skies above him which were beginning to reveal the stars within them, whilst the youth began to walk in irregular patterns like someone who was trying to get his geographical bearing so at to calculate his own position and destination using their mental projection of an entire landscape…

Though, the youth who was round and what others would like to call a fatso fumbled around the jungle, through thick lush leaves with beating branches and grasses with thorny sprouts, he finally came to find himself at the edge of a cliff, looking haggard, unkempt and dirty with leaves all over his wooly, but bushy afro…
"Oh great… Right here… Now place this here, and put this there, and tilt it a little this way, and we should be good to go-"
Just as he ended his ramblings, the surface of this silvery plaque was finally facing nine stars which were hanging at a nonagonal distance and direction from each other;
The youth set up the plaque in a way that each of the nine gems on the plaque were facing the nine stars in the sky, and just as their alignments clicked;
Ptium!
It was like a laser of starlight was shot from the sky into this gems which absorbed them, and when all nine gems had now absorbed these lasers of starlight and were now glowing so bright like they were about to explode, unique energies began to spill out of the gem into the plaque via some engraved channels within the plaque which looked like a maze…
These gems which were each color of the rainbow finally spilled out energies akin to its own color as they all flowed towards the gem at the center of the plaque, and after spilling into it and mixing like paints of multiple colors, a multicolored pillar of light finally glowed out of the gem and the figure of a round expert just like the boy appeared;
"Tch, you this good for nothing imp! Are you trying to make me look inept to our Lord!?"
The man exploded in a fit of rage with his beards trembling intensely under the power with which he was bellowing;
"Master, I was trying to-"
"Shut your foul guts!" The man didn't even allow the boy to finish before bellowing once again;
"Tell me why it took you so long to reach out!?" The man demanded;
"Master, it w-"
"Shut your foul hole, you egg…"
"Tell me, do you want to kill me before my time!? Unh!?"
The nostrils of this man had expanded into a tunnel by the sheer amount of rage he was radiating whilst the youth simply shook his head in utter helplessness;
Though, this man that was boiling and raging at him might seem like a short fuse and might look unreasonable, he was still an Immortal Stage expert and was actually very intelligent and shrewd, and he only acts this way whenever he was in the presence of his disciples;
But whilst fatty might not be the strongest amongst his disciples, the man still doted on him the most;
"I'm sorry Immortal Dian, I had jumped through 186 dimensional portals and it took me about half an hour to recover from its backlash, so I contacted you a little late…"
The youth called his master by his true name, and yelled so that he would be able finish his explanation before his master went on and on rambling several questions which he will give him no time to answer;
But surely, the tactics worked and it seemed hearing the title behind his name usually fueled his goodwill because the master finally stopped yelling and caressed his long beards with right hand before taking a deep breath;
"Ahem!"
He cleared his throat, something that caused the fatty to cringe for some reason as he looked around before sighing in relief;
"Alright, I will be head over to our Lord's manor and he will speak with you in person… Be prepared to meet with Lord Redmoon in five minutes!"
"If you cause me to lose face, just stay where you are and never return!"
The stubby legged Immortal Dian chastised his disciple before vanishing off the screen, and the light on the plaque finally dimmed and went off…
"Damn, thank my stars, I wasn't there in person, I would have probably gone giddy for 3 months straight…" Fatty shook his head before looking towards a certain direction;
"That's the Overlord's Qi… So, this is where the treasure landed… Alright I better get going before anyone senses the disturbances and come over to investigate…"
The stubby fatty took to the skies instantly and bolted at a speed similar to Min Hong's despite being only in the Saint Stage…
"Eh?"
Min Hong who was previously sleeping earlier abruptly jolted awake as he stood up from the bed and went to the window of the main cabin where he stared ahead towards their destination;
"Honey, is everything alright?"
The Princess was also woken by that jolt and the speed with which he left the bed;
"I just sensed a unique energy; like a unique Qi and aura that isn't native to this place, and it feels somewhat familiar; Plus, it seems to be getting nearer and nearer..." Min Hong frowned...
