The Legend of Min Hong Chapter 510

"Did you sleep well?" Mao My asked;
"No, I couldn't … No matter how hard I tried…" Min Hong replied;
"Good, because we would have been in serious trouble if you couldn't even sense the eerie atmosphere in here…" Elder Fu responded;
"You guys can sense it too?" Min Hong was surprised;
"Not really… As at last night, it was just like the feeling of someone who doesn't want us here watching us..." Gong Yi added;
"Yeah, except just now, it seemed to flip and now that person is looking to kill us all…" Xiao Gui followed suit;
"Are you okay?" Min Hong asked looking to Ki Ting who was looking lost and shivering;
"She had a terrible nightmare last night…" Tong Tian added;
"I came out to pee, and heard her scream, so I went in and found the entire room filled to the brim with water, but luckily, I have been keeping my guard up since we came here, thus I was able to react instantly…"
"All that happened last night?" Min Hong was stunned;
"Yes… Because this entire floor was flooded this morning when I woke up, and she just finished cleaning up before the Princess came out…" Gu Ming confirmed;
"Apparently, all these rooms were built in a way that if you are not outside, you will never be able to know what is going on within another room even if an explosion happened in there…" Gong Yi added with a frown;
"Someone could kidnap another person within this house and no one would ever know…" Yu Ming added with a frown;
"Such a person would have even been long gone before anyone notices, except if there is someone else who knows the person too well to realize something had gone wrong…" Elder Fu added…

But none of them really realized the consequence of their last few statements until they noticed Min Hong went silent and then everything hit them at once;
"You don't mean-"
"-Shhh" Min Hong quickly hushed Xiao Gui;
"They might be watching or listening on…" Min Hong spoke via mental transmission…
He then spoke to all of them via mental transmission and warned everyone to always speak via mental transmission whenever they wanted to speak with one another, and that it had to be very brief and quick should in case anyone amongst the tribesmen could tap into mental transmissions;
After all, he had been able to do the same, and he would be impetuous to think he was the only person who had that ability…
"Where is the person they sent to come fetch us?" Min Hong asked via mental transmission;
"He is currently outside the door, waiting…"
"Then we should get going otherwise they start suspecting something…" Min Hong announced via mental transmission as he intentionally opened the door abruptly;
"Don't get caught-"
Min Hong was just in time to her that guard speaking to someone or something else in the area, but strangely no matter how much he searched, he couldn't find anything or anyone within at least a five mile radius;
"Morning, the tribe elders have told me to come find you and bring you over to the square…"
The guard in front of the group said with a fake, urgent smile which signified that he felt Min Hong had discovered him, but Min Hong simply smiled instead;
"We're sorry, you know ladies… They don't finish on time…"
Min Hong lied as the ladies behind him frowned slightly, but that was because they didn't know what was Min Hong just discovered…
The guard however felt Min Hong didn't hear anything and instead, he simply sighed in relief;

"Can you help me get my hair brush, I think I forgot it upstairs…" The Princess abruptly asked stunning the entire group;
"Alright, I'll be down in a minute…" Min Hong apologized to the guard with a smile as the rest of the group entered the carriage the Guard brought over…
It was because Elder Ken wanted to show them around a bit that they didn't take a carriage the last time, but today, there was nothing to sight see as it was time for Min Hong's group to show if they could really help the tribe, hence the presence of the carriage…
But Min Hong who had sent a mental transmission to the princess to send him on a random errand back into the house raced up the stairs and entered their room;
"Are you guys ready?" He asked via the link in the consciousness which he had connected via the thread of divine sense earlier;
"We need about two more minutes…"
"We don't have that time, you're both coming with me…"
Min Hong said before shoving his hand into the void piercing through three separate layers of void at one and pulling out the two ants and a dead stone [spirit stones which had completely been used up] before hurrying back…
But just as he reached the entrance, he flicked his wrist as an explosive talisman appeared in his hand before pumping if full with a Peak Saint Stage power, thus once anything pokes or tears this talisman, it would explode with the strength of a Peak Saint Stage power…
Min Hong then stuck the upper half of the talisman to his door frame before sticking the lower half to the top of the door, then he locked the door behind him and stepped into the carriage sitting in the space left for him which was in between the princess and the jittery Ki Ting as per the secret request of the Princess...
Min Hong sat in between them whist the guard got in front of the carriage as they began to head towards the village square…
Min Hong then noticed Ki Ting was still very shaken by her nightmare and then he placed his arm around her shoulders as she rested her head on his shoulders, then the first sign of awareness sparked to life in her eyes as the rest of the group sighed in relief whist looking at the Princess with a thankful expression…
"Guys, be careful and alert at all times…" Gong Yi warned via mental transmission;
"Yeah, Ki Ting's nightmare wasn't ordinary, and though we don't how they did it, but I know it isn't ordinary…" Xiao Gui added;
"Let's just safely assume they are planning to kill us at every available opportunity…"
"With that in mind, everyone must also look after Ki Ting, they might decide to pick us out one after the other and blame it on the situation…" Min Hong also warned…

This is a fan fic set in the brilliantly crafted world of Chrysalis, which RinoZ has generously given permission for me to post. Our hero is no transmigrated human, but a genuine monster, spawned from the rich mana veins running beneath a fungal expanse. Unlike other Claw Centipedes, this hatchling is special, gifted with sapience and cunning. Both of which are useful tools to hunt and kill and eat with. Maybe even more useful than claws and stinger. (Probably not). Please join them as they seek answers to life's big questions: Is that edible? If so, how do I kill it? And can I get my kin to do most of the work? World Wonderer
Mari was happily whisking up some butterscotch slice when our story suddenly whisks her into another world. You'd think it'd be the beginning of another classic Isekai adventure, but it soon becomes clear that things won't be so easy...Her nerdy-teenage-genius summoner has trapped her in his room, no one speaks English, and Mari's gut is NOT prepared for a whole new world of bacteria. Can Mari overcome the travel diarrhea, learn a whole new language and escape before she develops Stockholm syndrome? Most of all, can she learn to flourish in a world so different, yet so similar to her own? ****** Author note: This story is written in response to all the unrealistic, plot-armour Isekais out there. I believe that adventures are more fun when there are unexpected surprises and challenges to be had. That said, this is my virgin voyage into writing an ongoing fiction, so please take care of me @[email protected] Constructive critisms, suggestions and typos in the comments would be most appreciated! Respectfully, Mhm

Homunculi: 6
A powerful family desperate to maintain its position at any cost meddles in the domain of the divine by designing and developing a new race called Homunculi. These creations are honed into brutal weapons to fuel their grand ambitions and keep their secrets hidden.Fresh eyes take in this world as a new Homunculus awakens. Its conditioning and training take an unexpected twist as it develops abilities and skills different from the others of its kind. -------------------- Surrounded by manufactured warriors who are incredibly powerful from day one, our MC will find himself lacking in innate skills and knowledge. Very much a weak to strong story. There is definitely action and adventure within, but expect a slow start that is focused on character growth, building tension, unraveling conspiracies, while learning about a new magical world. Some cooking and some daydreaming within. (I see you slice of life) --------- WIP art by Katie Z.
