"And how many have come to your aid so far?" Gong Yi asked

"Twenty four groups and nineteen individual experts…" The Tribe Leader responded, as the group stared at him in shock;

"Now you know why we are a little skeptical of your desire to help…"

"Also, our tribe is now empty, but we know if we solve this mystery, our tribe would return to its former glory, and that's why we allowed you in." The Lady chipped in…

The Tribe Leader and Lady made some more explanations to the group, but it all boiled down to the fact that the cause of the kidnappings was mysterious and they had been rendered clueless and helpless about the entire situation, thus, they hoping that Min Hong's group would make significant progress with their findings...

"Alright, give us a moment…" Elder Fu spoke before signaling the group to gather around;

"Alright, how should we do this?" He asked via mental transmission;

"We will split into two groups, of five each…" Min Hong replied;

"Elder Fu, Gu Ming, Mao My, Yu Ming and Gong Yi would be in one group while Myself, Ki Ting, Tong Tian, Xiao Gui and Her would be in the other group…"

"Gong Yi would lead the first group and investigate these residences from the tribe gate down to the one closest to the mansion… Find anything at all that either seems odd or too good to be true…"

"The people coming into this tribe were people of different culture and as a result, they must be very kind and good people who came here with the sole purpose of learning and experiencing other culture;"

"Furthermore, I believe such type of people would always want to show kindness and goodness so as to form a good relationship with the rest of the diverse people here…"

"True, after all, the way their residence were built so close to one another meant it would have been a friendly and close tribe with good relationships amongst its people…" Gong Yi added mentally…

"Exactly, now that we know the kind of people were are investigating, find anything odd to such types of people or too good to be true to their nature…"

"Remember, do not touch anything, just call the others to check and make a mental note of your findings, and finally, never let any one of you be alone at any given time, you must at least be in pairs at all time, and should you be attacked, don't look to retaliate, instead cause a huge commotion and flee…" Min Hong warned;

"What do you think they might be planning?"

The Right Grand Elder who couldn't see any of their faces because of the way they crowded around one another asked the Left Grand Elder via mental transmission; He was already feeling slightly uneasy; there is no greater threat than when one knows absolutely nothing about any of their opponents possibly planned scenarios and tactics;

"It doesn't matter, if they find anything in there, we will just have to slaughter them all and feed them to the sacrificial altar…" The Left Grand Elder responded with a nonchalant vibe;

"My group would begin from the residences where the most recent disappearance occurred and work towards you guys, and you guys would do the same, so that we will meet midway and share our findings, and determine if the mysterious cause of the disappearance is within the village or not…" Min Hong explained;

"Alright then… Be careful everyone and pay attention to the details…" Gong Yi charged as Elder Fu turned around and asked them;

"Where did the most recent kidnappings occur?"

"In the residence you guys stayed in last night…" The Left Grand Elder replied as the group instantly felt an eerie jolt run through them, but kept a calm surface;

"Alright, let's begin…" Elder Fu spoke as Min Hong's group abruptly split apart stunning the Left Grand Elder who quickly asked;

"Investigating…"

Elder Fu replied with an inward smirk as the Left Grand Elder looked to the Tribe Leader and Lady and nodded them towards Gong Yi's group whilst he and the Right Grand Elder followed Min Hong's group;

"Whatever we do, we must not let that kid out of our sight…"

The left Grand Elder transmitted to the Right Grand Elder as they followed behind Min Hong's group, and when the two groups reached their destination, Gong Yi's group entered the first residence they saw when they first entered the tribe;

Then the moment they entered the house, Gong Yi and Elder Fu nodded towards one another as Mao My and Yu Ming headed to the top floor of the residence leaving the rest behind and stunning the Tribe Leader and Lady duo who looked to themselves and nodded secretly…

The Tribe Lady then followed behind the two ladies not wanting them to go anywhere alone, and when they left, the three guys looked to themselves and smiled; everything seems to be going according to their suspicions…

Then Gu Ming and Elder Fu abruptly detached from Gong Yi moving up the stairs towards the middle floor as the Tribe Leader instantly became torn between following them or waiting behind to watch Gong Yi, but after thinking so little about it, he reluctantly followed behind the duo…

The moment they were out of sight, Gong Yi bit his finger to draw blood made some hand seal gestures before placing his palm on the ground, and instantly Qi billowed out of his body into his palm as a strange formation appeared on the ground with several runes;

"Summoning Technique – Ghost Eyed Mouse!"

Instantly, a white colored mouse with no eyes appeared as it lunged at Gong Yi like a lost pet who just found its doting owner;

Squeak! Squeak!

"I know, I know… I've missed you too, but you have to help me now…"

Gong Yi murmured before telling the mouse what to do and placing it on the ground, and instantly, the mouse vanished from the spot whilst Gong Yi found the restroom on the floor and entered before locking himself within it, and after checking around to find no source of Danger, he then sat cross-legged…

He then weaved some hand seals and snapped his eyes open, and instantly they became blank as he sighed in relief before softly muttering;
