While Wang Ling was deep in contemplation, the White Fox reverted to its original form and somehow made its body smaller. The White Fox was originally no larger than Wang Ling, but right now, it became as small as an ordinary cat.

The White Fox reverted to its original form. It walked over to Wang Ling and sat in front of him before speaking.

"Wang Ling, the Blood Seeking Celestial, I have a proposal."

Wang Ling woke up from his daze and lowered his head towards the adorable White Fox that was near his feet. He was someone who had a harden heart for everything else other than his family, but this White Fox was cute enough to make Wang Ling abstain from having any ill intent towards the little creature.

The White Fox looked at Wang Ling curiously.

Wang Ling became serious but he couldn't help but comment, "But you think I'm someone who doesn't have any interest in self-gain? I destroyed my era for my own ambition, I do not know what happened afterwards, but if you consider about the chaos that will ensue after the deaths of numerous celestials that was acting as the pillars and leaders of many clans and organizations.

"The number of death I have indirectly is not less than a billion. There are trillion of humans living in this oh-so-wide realm of ours. A billion is already a generous estimate to be had and you think I am different?"

Wang Ling was not speaking with ill-intent, he was also not speaking with scheming against the White Fox in mind.

Right now, he was an honest cultivator that was once the one who stood at the pinnacle. Wang Ling had an air of dignity and elegance around his every movement and gestures. He was like a natural devil that could entrance anyone who turn his way.

The White Fox didn't answer his question directly. But the White Fox made it clear that Wang Ling it was someone that is worth believing. Wang Ling looked at the White Fox and smiled but said nothing.

The White Fox continued speaking.

"We share the same goals so I find it better to go with you rather than travelling alone without a proper destination. Going back to the Lower Heaven is not going to be easy, I have yet to reach proper cultivation stage before I can go back.

"Besides, travelling with an old fogey that is posing as a genius is bound to have many great perks. If I stick around with you, I just feel that I can get something from you and you won't be able to use me."

The White Fox laughed as it looked at Wang Ling who also laughed aloud. Wang Ling didn't expect the White Fox to be so willful and eccentric. It was actually going to trust him just like that?

[I have nothing to complain.] he thought as he once again opened his mouth, "So, do you wish to make a Heavenly Blood Pact?"

The White Fox shook its head as it answered him confidently, "The earlier Heavenly Blood Pact is enough. I don't have anything against sticking with you so it is not a problem, and I don't want to have the Heavenly Blood Pact acting as a leash."

Wang Ling agreed to the White Fox and then said.

"Alright, then that is done. So, what you want me to call you?"

The White Fox didn't have a name so it became quiet for a while before giving its answer.

"Bai Xue*, call me Bai Xue."

"Alright then, Bai Xue. How long do you think is your fog going to ward off the savage beasts? I need time to recuperate from my physical fatigue, I can move now, but I can't completely slaughter them and I want to get some beast cores before leaving this place."

The newly named Bai Xue shrugged its shoulder and then said, "For as long you need, this fog is something that came from a higher being. Savage beasts that have no rationality won't dare trespass over it."

"Alright, then look out for anything weird. You're already healed so you're on look out, I will be focusing on healing myself." Wang Ling instructed and Bai Xue gave its tacit agreement.

Wang Ling nodded his head and was just about to enter meditation when he realized something and turned to Bai Xue and asked it, "Hey, are you really fine with the name Bai Xue?"

"Why, what's wrong with it? My fur is just like snow so I named it after it, why, is Xue Bai more appropriate?" Bai Xue asked.

"No, it's just that Bai Xue is rather feminine, don't you want to have a good and tyrannical name when you ascend to Heaven Realm?" Wang Ling asked innocently, but it was this questioned that transformed Bai Xue's expression into something ugly.

"I'm a female!!!" Bai Xue confirmed and Wang Ling was given a kick on the head which he blocked with his right hand.

Two days passed and it was already noon. Wang Ling stood up from his meditative position and started stretching. He looked at Bai Xue who was munching on a fist size beast core.

"Bai Xue, is there any detrimental effects if I pass through the fog?"

Bai Xue lazily turned her head over and said, "No!"

Wang Ling looked at her lazy disposition but said nothing. He started walking over the fog and the savage beasts that was outside suddenly started growling as he got closer.

Smiling, Wang Ling took out a sword from his storage ring before undressing and taking off his top. His well-defined muscles were seen and his devilish aura began to roll out of his body.

Wang Ling became the personification of a True Devil and began to work and started the slaughter of the nearby savage beasts. The slaughter was bloody and gruesome. Wang Ling was already so strong that he did not even have to do much and still managed to kill each and every one of the remaining savage beasts that was around the area.

Wang Ling started harvesting the beast cores and began placing the carcasses of the beasts inside his storage ring. The fog that was near him began to dissipate as Wang Ling finished everything.

"Are you done?"

"Yes."

"Let's go then."

With that said, Bai Xue transformed and an over five meter large dark and fiery bird appeared in front of him.

It was Bai Xue's Phoenix form. Wang Ling got on its back and Bai Xue flew into the horizon.

While Xue Bai means snow white, I find these names rather feminine so please don't flame for using them as names
