Celestial Peak Chapter 68

Right before Qigang returns.
Today was the day that Qigang was going to come back. Wang Ling had been anticipating for his return and right now, he was waiting for him outside.
Right now, Wang Ling was wearing a red uniform that is only worn by inner circle disciples. He had been recognized as one ever since he came back from the White Dragon Valley. His cultivation strength was recognized as late-energy palace stage.
He hid his cultivation base from the academy rather easily as the only ones who came to give him his uniform was Lu Lin and Fang Guan. Lu Lin had registered him to the academy right after returning and confirming Wang Ling's cultivation stage.
Wang Ling was half delighted at Lu Lin's enthusiasm for helping him without wishing anything in return. It wouldn't be long before he can coax her into following him. Wang Ling had yet to give up on the idea of creating an Alchemist that is going to be loyal to him.
However, Wang Ling was in no rush as he was taking his time to draw her into his side. Lu Lin had already seen what he is capable of when they were in the White Dragon Valley. He was already aware of her being conscious of him. It is only a matter of time before she can be nurtured by him personally.
While Wang Ling was waiting for Qigang to come back. Bai Xue came out of the dorm room and stretched her back while being in her mini fox form. Bai Xue looked at him patiently waiting for Qigang and said.
"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" Bai Xue released a yawn. She had just woken up from her sleep. She looked at Wang Ling and Wang Ling lowered his head to look at her before answering.
"I'm waiting for someone. I have too much time." Wang Ling gave a lazy answer. Bai
Xue shrugged her little shoulders as she spoke.
"Do what you must, I'll be going for a walk, I want to look around this place." Bai Xue disappeared before Wang Ling can even say anything.
Wang Ling looked at the direction where she had disappeared into and sighed. For the past few days, Bai Xue would always disappear and would return from somewhere with some kind of spirit plant in her mouth.

Bai Xue had her own pride and Wang Ling did not really try to tame her. The relationship they have is nothing more than that of two people working together for a common goal. Wang Ling already got what she wanted for her anyway... a good companion who has a lot of potential to grow.
Also, she lets him ride her when they travel making him get his goal of being able to cultivate even though he is on the move. Thinking things through, Wang Ling realized just how strong Bai Xue would become if she ever reach the pinnacle of her innate techniques.
[Where did she come from?] Wang Ling asked but did not dwell upon it any further.
Wang Ling went back to waiting when his mind wandered to some of the rumors that had been going around the academy. It would seem that a thief had been taking the spirit plants of numerous students, giving others a headache. The students of the Alchemy Hall are being affected by it the most.
"She's the one who had been doing it isn't she?" Wang Ling shook his head but he didn't have any plans of telling Bai Xue off. Well, he might warn her not to do anything big that might implicate him in what she's doing. "I'll talk to her about it."
It will take time before he can influence Bai Xue's decision. Wang Ling didn't want to deal with something as unproductive as forcing her into stopping. Besides, her stealing resources is nothing but a good thing because that way, he wouldn't need to focus on spending too much resources for her.
Wang Ling continued to wait and soon, noon came and the inner circle students were constantly passing by his residence and they would look at him weirdly from time to time. His reputation in the academy was not good.
He was someone considered as a public enemy so it wasn't that surprising. Shaking his head, he shrugged his shoulder and disregarded their stares. Unaffected, Wang Ling raised his head and as soon as he did, he noticed that someone was kneeling in front of him.
"Did you get the four beasts?" Wang Ling asked Qigang who moved like a shadow and acted like one to approach him. Qigang nodded his head and took out four vials of refined blood essences from the four beast he was ordered to hunt down.

Wang Ling took one of the vials and felt the thick aura of devils in it. He smiled and nodded his head in confirmation.
"Good job, you may rest for the time being. You have been moving around for the past two months after all." Wang Ling gave Qigang a generous offer which the other party refused as he shook his head.
"There is no need, First Young Master. I feel no fatigue in my body so I wish to serve you by your side." Qigang said and Wang Ling only showed a carefree smile before taking out a white cloth that was a few meters wide.
Wang Ling then took out a paintbrush from his storage ring and started writing on the clean white cloth. After writing the words he wanted to say. Wang Ling observed his writing and smiled in a satisfactory manner.
After confirming what good of a job he had done, Wang Ling took out two bamboo poles and tied each end of the cloth, finally making a proper banner. Wang Ling tried raising it for a little bit and smiled after seeing the powerful stroke he had done.
"That should be good enough." Wang Ling exclaimed before keeping the banner inside his storage ring. He was just about to leave when he noticed that Qigang had a strange look on his face, "What is it?"
"Um… may I know why you created that… um, banner?"
Qigang who had been on the side watching Wang Ling do all that could not help it but look at him strangely. Although he was not doubting the words written on that banner, Qigang was still baffled as to why he would make something like that.
Wang Ling then answered his question after taking a deep breath, "What I just did is going to give us basically free points that will let me buy various resources from the academy."
Qigang looked even more puzzled now after hearing Wang Ling's answer as he asked once again, "But can't I just ask the main house for resources to be brought here? Why go through all this problem?"
"Requesting from the main family is something I wish to avoid. They should just focus on cultivating the already lined up disciples of both the family and your organization. I'll manage to secure these resources by myself.
"Besides, this is an experience that can become handy in the future." Wang Ling tried giving a satisfying explanation and Qigang took all of those information as facts that should be sent to the main house as soon as possible.
Qigang did not stop Wang Ling when he left his dorm area. Qigang observed Wang Ling's back as they walked and also started checking Wang Ling's cultivation. He noticed that Wang Ling was already an energy palace stage cultivation.
"How did you level up so fast, First Young Master?"
"It's nothing much, I just got lucky after I entered the academy."
Wang Ling brushed his question about his cultivation aside and Wang Ling went to the Martial Hall where dozens of students were training. As soon as he came inside, he immediately attracted attention of other students.
They looked at him weirdly but no one said anything, he started setting up the bamboo pole before and the words: "Strongest of the inner circle: Challenge fee 5000 points!!!! Rewards: 10,000 points and the title of the strongest!"
Wang Ling had come here to earn some points, why? He wanted to at least use half of the resources in this academy.
And just like what happened in the outer circles, Wang Ling fought with different people challenging him and trying to fight him. Just like those stupid students of the inner circle? And because the students of the inner circle had been accumulating points. They are free from the taking.
[It won't be long before I can reach hundreds of thousand?]

I Totally Don't Have Anger Problems!
Discontinued 7/11/2020 Sorry if anyone was hoping for more updates. It seems I'm losing interest in the character as time goes on - not sure if that's due to miscalculated character development direction or just a limited amount to express in the first place. If I do any writing projects in the future, I'll make sure the premise has a lot of room for long-term, interesting, development before posting anything. Thanks to everyone who gave feedback! I’m Talia Shimada, and my life just got a lot more complicated. One moment I was just doing some regular investigation of an interesting boy from my senior year in high school, and then suddenly, everything went wrong and I was stranded in another world in the middle of nowhere. It’s not my fault he left a clear line of sight to his house keys where they could be photographed and replicated on a 3D printer! Now I’m stuck in the middle of a giant forest with all these annoying creatures that keep attacking me until I SMASH THEM INTO PIECES AND STOMP ON THEIR REMAINS, surviving off of raw meat and, well, other kinds of raw meat. What, am I supposed to know which plants are edible in some far-away wilderness on another PLANET!? This is a planet right? It has to be! What did I do to deserve this? At least that class I got is useful. Now, when something doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, I can keep smashing it until it CAN’T BE A PROBLEM ANY MORE BECAUSE IT’S NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL! If anyone else tries to get in the way of my plans, I’ll just PICK UP THEIR PUNY BODIES AND THROW THEM ASIDE and watch them sail away, never to trouble me again, because I am DONE having people mess with my life and not being able to do anything about it! From now on, anyone who tries will get to briefly realize their error as I SMASH THEM INTO PASTE BECAUSE THEY PICKED A FIGHT WITH THE WRONG WOMAN! I totally don’t have anger problems!
