Celestial Peak Chapter 153

Zu Yun was standing on the side wearing a yellow robe. He was at the True Saint Stage and was oozing with the intent to fight.
Being the #93rd ranker of the Roaring Thunder Academy, he would move up to #92nd rank if he can beat the one man in front of him.
Wearing a purple robe was Han Shi. Having a big and burly build, he smiled brightly as he stared at the adversary in front of him.
"Zu Yun, we meet again. Are you perhaps truly tired of living this time? I already warned you to stir away from me, else I will really break both your arms."
Han Shi and Zu Yun were one of the rivals that could be found inside the Thundergod Academy. In a place such as the Thundergod Academy where the competition for the top was as fierce as it could get.
There would be bound to be many rivalries forming from here and there. Han Shi's and Zu Yun's rivalry was one of the well-known ones in the whole academy.
They have fought for 53 times, and Han Shi was currently in the lead, having 27 wins and Zu Yun with 26, it represented just how many times they have faced one another.
Zu Yun looked at Han Shi and sneered as he answered back proudly, "Han Shi think you'll beat me this time? The victory you achieved before was merely luck. Don't get too ahead of yourself now."
Zu Yun answered with a calm voice. The two began to mock one another and they began a battle of the words. Even their exchanges like so had an impact on the audiences causing them to add fuel to the fire.
"Senior Zu Yun! The people of the [Red Dragon Faction] said that you're nothing but a worthless piece of useless trash. Prove them wrong and beat him to a bloody pulp."
"Han Shi! Go and beat the shit out of that Zu Yun. Cao Ning is currently angered by their [Yellow Nebula Faction] after the unfortunate [Tribulation Trial], go and beat that pompous butt of the Zu Yun and later present it to senior brother."

"To the two seniors, do your best! But I'll still bet on, senior brother Han Shi. Please beat him so I can get a substantial amount of points.
A single youth who had been sitting on the back of the crowd. Observed the fight with great interest. The two people in front of him will be assessed on the ability of the future people he would be fighting.
Leaning forward, Wang Ling witnessed as the two youths on top of the fighting stage kicked the ground and disappeared. They reappeared moments later though as they clashed in the middle of the stage.
Bang!
The force of their punches colliding with one another made the wind explode and the wind pressure that was about to swept about the stage and its surrounding was stopped just before the edges of the stage.
A barrier was erected around the stage in order to contain the wind pressure that resulted from the clashes of the saints. The clash was fierce and the first that collided was retracted and the other fist was thrown out.
Fist after fist was sent out and the two rankers that was fighting in the stage was in a state of stalemate where no one could get ahead of one another. That was at least how the eyes of the students could see the fight.
But Wang Ling could clearly see it. The split-second difference that could be found in their speed.
[Han Shi is faster… and stronger.] That's Wang Ling's thoughts, and he was correct, Han Shi was indeed a complete split second faster than Zu Yun. As the fight continued, Han Shi's dominance started to show.
Whether it be power or speed, he was stronger than Zu Yun. Zu Yun was well aware of his speed being under Han Shi's, but he did not panic and instead acted calmly and jumped backward to create distance.
As he did, a bright red light appeared behind him and a Red Crane that had a wingspan of five meters cried out and shook the stage. The crane appeared and quickly flew up the sky before descending back down in order to enter Zu Yun's body.

Zu Yun had activated his Saint Soul and was ready to raise the difficulty of the fight. But he was not the only one who activated his saint soul as Han Shi also activated his Saint Soul just like Zu Yun.
Appearing a in the sky was a bear that was the size of an ordinary house with a single floor. The bear had black fur and had sparks of lightning flickering all over its body. Its roar shook the stage and Han Shi used his saint soul to give him more power and mobility.
Absorbing the power of his saint soul, his qi began to roil. Lightning jumped up and down from his body and found its way into his fist. Han Shi roared as his fist rendered the air and Zu Yun reciprocated the intent with a roar of his own as he prepared himself to meet with the fist of Han Shi.
Boom!
The fist belonging to Zu Yun reached Han Shi's face.
Zu Yun smiled, but Han Shi who was supposed to fall forward suddenly moved without warning.
The roar of an enraged bear was heard and Han Shi's fist continued to render the air as the sound of Zu Yun being sent flying and then crashing into the ground a couple of meters away.
Han Shi stood there with a light fist imprint on his face. He bowed slightly at the unconscious Zu Yun and bowed slightly to show his respect. Zu Yun's unconscious body was then taken to the [Healing Palace] so he can recover.
Han Shi watched this all happened and before long, he looked around the crowd in a taunting manner.
"There's only one bout and it was between me and Zu Yun. Just like before, I, who won the bout will be the one overseeing the challenge from those who wishes to try and take away the rankings from me. Today, whoever beats me into a fight shall have the right to inherit my ranking!"
Everyone cheered and Han Shi who just had a fight ingested a pill and began meditating to recover from his earlier fight.
All the while, the crowd was in a fervor as they awaited the time when the two hours of resting would come to an end.
Two hours passed and the fervor had yet to die down, it was only increasing by the minute as time pass. Han Shi stood up and got ready to fight.
He did the talk to encourage the challengers and as soon as he finished his piece. A loud shout came from the crowd.
"I wish to challenge Senior Student Han Shi." It was a youth wearing a white robe who spoke. Floating quietly up, the white robes youth found his way in front of Han Shi. The white-robed youth could only be Wang Ling.
Han Shi looked at him once and voiced his thoughts, "Stop wasting my time or anyone else. Does a mere Grand Saint want to challenge me? I don't know if you are brave or just stupid."
Han Shi was honest and the crowd was supporting his idea.
Wang Ling shook his head, "Don't worry, Senior Student Han Shi, please just give me a chance. I just wish to see my limits if I fight a genius of the academy."
"You wish to see your limits? Then, I'll test you first… try this!" Han Shi had no time to entertain Wang Ling's wishes and instead threw a punch that tore through the air.
Boom!
An explosion echoed out. But instead of Wang Ling, an eye-opening sight appeared as Han Shi's body flew into the air. His pupils already on the back of his head.
Wang Ling had his right hand forward as he murmured.
"I also don't have much time. So, sleep for now."
