Wang Ling crouched on the ground and waited for Xuan Wen to regain his consciousness. Wang Ling went out of his way to make his consciousness return and he was not going to let that effort go to waste.

Smacking Xuan Wen's head a couple of times, Wang Ling woke him up.

With a groan, Xuan Wen tried to take out his head from being buried on the ground. He had a hard time doing so but someone pulled his hair up dragging his face off the intimate space he shared with the ground.

His head was once again banged into the ground. This time, he did not lose his consciousness and as he was once again lifted, the pain he experienced was put to the side.

Wang Ling stared at Xuan Wen's pitiful outlook and showed a disinterested expression, "Do you want some more? I can make hurt you more ways than you could imagine, if you wish to cause trouble, I will make sure to entertain you."

Wang Ling's nonchalant tone rang inside Xuan Wen's ears. His heartbeat at a fast pace, "I surrender, please, don't hurt me any longer."

Wang Ling shrugged his shoulders and had Xuan Wen drop to the ground. Entering Yan Renhuo's abode, he announced, "To those who wish to come after because of mere jealousy pass this message:

""Wang Ling of the Wang Family shall take you on, but beware of the consequences". Xuan Wen, make sure you announce that to those skirt chasers else I will create a lot of trouble from you. Remember, the Shadow Pavilion is not a force any household can take."

Wang Ling threatened Xuan Wen. From Xuan Wen's expression, Wang Ling already knew he had managed to imprint fear in the depths of Xuan Wen's soul. There's a high chance that he would become his [Heart Demon] which will haunt him forever.

Yan Renhuo's concentration reached its peak and began manipulating her qi and flames at the same time. Her flames danced and carried the ingredients that was surrounding her and placed it in the cauldron.

The peak once again rumbled, but her concentration was not broken and it became even stronger. She denied any form of distraction. She was too focused on the pill concoction that her sight cannot be taken away from the process.

Her flames were dancing and purifying the impurities of the ingredients. She extracted the essence of the said ingredients and soon gathered them in the middle of the cauldron.

The mountain peak once again rumbled, but Yan Renhuo was not shaken. Her mind was taken away by the mysteries of alchemy.

It took her five hours to finally reach the last part of alchemy and without wasting time, Yan Renhuo combined the ingredients and started forming the pill.

The pill she wanted to concoct was a grade-3 pill. It was a pill that was a level higher than she could use. But her concentration, talent, dedication, and flames moved quick enough to force the pill into formation.

Her qi surged and Yan Renhuo formed the pill and the pill started producing mist. Serpentine's Bane Pill had reached perfection.

Yan Renhuo's pill gave out an intoxicating aroma. She took a whiff of the pill before having it contained in a jade bottle.

"This should be the pill of Brother Wang. Now, it is time to concoct the other pill… it should be for that partner of his correct?" Yan Renhuo asked herself before continuing to concoct the pill.

Five hours of pill concoction process and Yan Renhuo finally formed the other pill. Her qi was drained yet she managed to concoct the last pill to perfection.

At this moment, she managed to concoct a grade-3 pill that was meant for the consumption of a dominion realm cultivator.

Yan Renhuo can now already be considered as a grade-3 alchemist if she learns to concoct another thee grade-3 pills. She ate some Cardinal Qi Pill and recovered most of the qi she had used.

Yan Renhuo went out of the pill concoction room and then went to find Wang Ling as soon as she managed to recover some of her strength.

After stepping out of the pill concoction room, the mountain peak once again rumbled and Yan Renhuo became interested as to what was happening outside.

She stepped out to find the sun had long set and Wang Ling was currently standing in the middle of beaten up students. She smiled at the sight of this. There were even some women who had noteworthy identities lying on the ground cursing at Wang Ling.

"You bastard, how can you hit a woman!? You are in the Ancient Scriptures Academy, do you think you do anything as you please here!? You will be punished and will surely be slain."

Wang Ling stood before a woman Yan Renhuo recalled to be Su Guiying:

[Isn't she one of the refuted rankers? What is she doing here? Wait a minute, that's Gao Lei and that's Horliss, as for the other people, I don't know any of them.]

Yan Renhuo recognized most of the people lying on the ground unconscious. She did not know what just happened here while she was concocting those pills for five hours, but she was sure that something major just happened and she did not know what it was.

As she stared at her fellow students, Yan Renhuo heard Wang Ling's answer to Su Guiying's words.

He then looked around and noticed people were already getting up from the ground, Wang Ling turned to them and shouted:

"To those who wish to challenge me for being jealous skirt chasers then feel free to do so. But try to do so and I shall throw a White Sun at you without mercy. Remember, the injuries you received here are caused by your own stupid pride and jealousy!"

Wang Ling's final words were just to rub it in and remind them what kind of humiliation it would be if they were to call upon the elders after this whole fiasco happened.

After this night, Wang Ling will get another moniker from the students of the Ancient Scriptures Academy and even if she was close when this happened, Yan Renhuo had no clue what had just transpired while she was inside.
