A few days before the letter was sent to Butler Sun, Wang Ling was with Xiao Fei'er sitting in an open pagoda. They sat there while drinking tea as the others in the manor did their thing.
While Wang Hong trains with Wang Yue and Sun Yuwen looks after her child. In that afternoon where everyone was busy, Wang Ling asked to have a word with his mother in order to confirm everything he had done and will do.
Xiao Fei'er brought the cup to her lips to take a sip. She took a light sip of the tea to cleanse her mouth before speaking, "So, about your bloodline, is what Bai Xue had spoken of true?"
Wang Ling simply nodded his head in response. He need not speak of it any longer as Bai Xue had already told her about the matter. Besides, they can't do anything about it anymore.
"Sigh, if that is true then there is nothing that we can do. But confirm this first, did Butler Sun and your Father knew of this matter?" He avoided Xiao Fei'er's eyes as an answer, Xiao Fei'er raised a brow and said, "That is all need as an answer."
She was sharp so they need not go any further into the matter. But Wang Ling could tell that some misfortunes will surely befall Butler Sun and his father.
"So, what did you want to talk about, Ling'er?" Xiao Fei'er asked calmly which Wang Ling replied calmly as he said, "I need to talk about the future of the Family as a whole."
Xiao Fei'er placed the teacup on the table and began listening attentively to his words. Wang Ling saw this and began speaking, "The Wang Family's position is precarious and we are a thorn in the side of the forces. We need to make a move in order to make sure that the future of the Family is ensured and will be able to flourish without the fear of being destroyed in the joint forces of our enemies. We need to talk about the…"

It was here that Xiao Fei'er interjected his words, "What is there to talk about? You already made your move correct? You killed hundreds of thousands in order to "cleanse" the threats that might spring up against our family. Your actions are nothing new, you killed numerous people in the persona of a devil and showed the Holy Race so you can separate your identity to make sure no one will doubt your identity. After that, you made sure to tie the Xie Clan's hands and make them unable to make sure they won't make a move against you by attacking the nastiest of the nastiest Sects, Cults, Factions, Unions and other forces.
"You immobilized them, and all of it would have culminated when you step into the Ten Year Bout when your fame on both identities reaches its peak. You will let them know of your identity and pull the True Devil Academy and Heaven's Will Academy to your side and even if there are people who wished to kill you, the two goliaths will block their swords in order to save you. And in the end of it all, the one that will benefit the most would be the Wang Family by having it related to you therefore making it untouchable by any of the other force. This was your plan, correct?"
Wang Ling to her words and found that everything she had just said were all spot on.
Xiao Fei'er noticed his expression and continued, "In all truthfulness, your plan was flawless and the only reason why you failed was because you sacrificed the chance to reveal your identity by saving Yan Renhuo. But there is one problem in all this and do you know what it is?"
"The fact that I did not speak of it to the family and moved with Butler Sun in the shadows?"
Xiao Fei'er shook her head in response.

"The fact that I have thrown away the chance to complete the plan? Because I killed so many in the pretext of the greater good?"
Xiao Fei'er shook her head once again before saying, "It is not that, Ling'er. It is the fact that you have done it by yourself. Yes, I am angry at Butler Sun moving with you, yes I angered by the fact you did not speak of it to me or your father, I am saddened that you have learned to slay, but that is not it, my child. The one thing I am most angered at you is that fact that you endangered your life in the thought of wanting to save the family.
Xiao Fei'er got up from her seat and then walked beside Wang Ling. She stopped by his side and touched his cheeks and continued to speak but this time her tone was gentle and caring, "You are my son you should only worry about your advancements and nothing else.
"But on your shoulders, you carry the weight of the Clan's existence that you should not be shouldering. Ling'er, what you have done is indeed good and so is your intention, but you must stop. The Family may face endangerment but it will strive, I and your Father shall be the ones to find a way in order for the Family to survive and thrive. Ling'er, can you promise me that you would never do something so dangerous ever again?"
Wang Ling bit his lower lip and showed a wry smile to his Mother before saying, "I cannot promise you such a thing."
He chose to be honest and the result was Xiao Fei'er wallowing in mix emotions of anxiousness, worry, sadness and many more. She wanted to ask why but she fears that if she were to ask him, she will get an answer that she will not be able to say no to.
But in the end, she still asked, "Why is that? In the Main House we can provide you everything you can hope for, what is there a need to head out?"
"I need to face the tribulations that comes with the blessing of having the bloodline I possess. This is something I am required to face, and in the process of doing so, I need to face dangerous things and temper myself. In the near future, I will be facing a challenge that I might not be able to overcome if I don't head out and make preparations. Mother, I cannot speak of it to you just yet as I am not sure as to what might happen, but whatever might happen in the future is something that only I can prevent. This is not only for the future of the Family but also myself, Mother, I ask of you to help me."
Xiao Fei'er saw Wang Ling asking for her help for the first time and a piercing pain appeared in her heart. She did not know why but she could somehow see something even heavier was weighing down upon him.
She wanted to support him, but the only thing she could do was nod her head and say, "Ling'er, whatever it may be, as long as you do not mean to harm the innocent or sacrifice yourself the Family shall give you its support. Ling'er my child, whatever it is that you are facing, just know that Mother will be there if you are to for me."
Xiao Fei'er embraced Wang Ling and Wang Ling reciprocated the gesture.
His eyes were filled with emotions.
