Celestial Peak Chapter 259

"Answer me, now." Wang Ling once again asked them.
The two ladies was shocked at Wang Ling's action as the two icicles they had shot at him was not something someone of his level should be able to deflect.
The short-statured lady saw this very well and as her anger overshadowed her surprise after being humiliated. She once again formed icicles around her and then with her brows creased, she shouted out loud, "Die!"
Dozens of icicles flew towards Wang Ling with terrifying speed. Boom! A loud an defeating explosion echoed inside the open area and the short-statured lady celebrated, "HAH! That's what you get for looking down upon the great me!"
The tall-statured lady creased her brows as she became worried over the fact that the Emperor Jade Tree might have been harmed, "You shouldn't have fired with such great force. You could have destroyed the Emperor Jade Tree."
The short statured lady bowed her head in embarrassment as she repentantly said, "Sorry about that Senior Sis… Ugh!" Her words were cut as a sharp black short sword found its way to her stomach and pierced her body through.
The short sword managed to make her lose all strength and everything in her body began becoming limp as she turned her head to the person who just stabbed her, "Y—you, that is impossible…."
Wang Ling stared at the lady and then tilted his head as he said, "No need to be surprise. You tried to kill me and I just returned to favor, why do you have such a look? If you are a cultivator, be ready to pay the consequences of your actions. Do you not know of that single rule?"
Wang Ling spoke in a mild and calm voice. With a twist of his wrist, Wang Ling split the body of the lady in half burning turning to the woman's companion who abruptly jumped back in order to avoid Wang Ling and run away.

The man in front of her was dangerous an idea like so revolved around her mind as she drew out her sword. But as she was about to swing her weapon. Wang Ling's figure blurred and grabbed the lady by the wrist and said, "Don't do the same mistake as your companion, if you want to live then answer my question, do you understand?"
The tall lady knew that she cannot get away from Wang Ling so she nodded her head but still asked, "Great Noble, do you mean it when you speak of sparing me?"
Wang Ling nodded his head as he said, "I do not speak of any lie. Do I look like I am a liar to you?" Wang Ling's voice sounded innocent but his previous actions made the tall lady incapable of looking at him with eyes dyed in terror.
"I shall believe Great Noble's words. I will answer any of your inquiries you want to know."
Wang Ling smiled at her and then asked, "Where did you come from? Are you a part of any sect or are you a student of one of the academy? Oh, try to lie and I will cut your head off without missing a beat, okay?"
The tall statured lady took in a deep breath after hearing the last line of Wang Ling. Her body became somewhat limp as she began answering Wang Ling's questions, "I am a disciple from a Northern Sect known as the Frost Peak Sect of the Central Regions. I am also a…"
Her words were cut short as Wang Ling raised his hand and then made a vertical slash in a swift and efficient manner. The lady was split in two and she gave Wang Ling a look of disbelief as she painstakingly said, "Y… you swore…"

"Well, I lied." The lady died shortly after as her body fell into a bloody mess in front of Wang Ling. These two were cultivators who were stronger than him a couple of times, but he killed them so efficiently and effortlessly that they seem to be people who cultivated for no less than a month.
Breathing out a sigh of relief, Wang Ling scavenged their bodies for any resources and began meditating as he thought of his next steps, "So, disciples of Frost Peak Sect also comes here to train, I have been meaning to leave this place for a while and well, I think it is about time I pick the power I will deal with first."
Wang Ling meditated for ten days and absorbed every treasure the two had with them. He reached middle Level-4 Dominion Realm. He was still planning to meditate for another three days but he suddenly opened his eyes and called out, "Come out, did you bring a new message?"
A Shadow appeared before him and handed him a letter. Wang Ling opened the sealed letter and then began reading, the more he read the more he became interested in the matter and before long Wang Ling was smiling.
"So, Qin Ao had come out to join an auction? That's quite interesting, but if he is coming to join an auction then he must be representing his family. He does not have the authority to represent the Academy, well, if that is the case, then he will surely have an assistant with him. There's a chance of a Celestial being with him or a peak level Dominion Realm Cultivator. I need to prepare." Wang Ling spoke and then brought out a piece of paper and began writing. After writing, Wang Ling handed the letter over and then said, "Pass this to Butler Sun without delay."
The Shadow nodded its head and disappeared, "It will take a week for that letter to arrive and the auction will start in three weeks. The Auction will be held in the Earth Domain and considering my past actions there I must be careful. Well, I should also get ready to go to war against the Qin Clan. I'll kill their Young Master after all. I'll leave in three days after the Emperor Jade Fruit ripens and Bai Xue comes out of seclusion."
Wang Ling made the decision to wait and two days later Bai Xue went out of her seclusion and she was already a Late Level-4 Dominion Realm cultivator. And the next day, the fruit ripened and let out a sweet aroma that spread out all over the Red Lands.
It attracted a lot of attention but the pair did not waste any time and carried out seven of the fruits and kept it inside a container. After doing so, they left after leaving a single fruit. The sweet aroma managed to draw the attention away from them escaping and while a large fight broke out, Wang Ling and Bai Xue already left.
Their next destination woujld be the Earth Domain, their next goal would be to kill their first target, Qin Ao.
