If Celestials was once described as being that could change their fates and live forever, that is nothing but the words of people who have too narrow of a view.

A cultivator that reaches the age of Celestial can live for at most a hundred thousand years nothing more nothing less. Those of the previous era once claimed that they can live forever when in truth they have yet to just find the limitations of their limited lifespan.

Immortals also have a limited lifespan but their powers are indeed the power that may change the destiny of everyone. An Immortal can rise even without good talent if they take the right path and the power they possess can render the world to tremble.

And such beings are fighting in front of Wang Ling as of this moment.

"You human dare to try and kill me!? You will pay for this, I will kill you and will hang your head for the world to see then I will kill everyone you care about!" The Grand Light Phoenix was understandably angered by the actions of the fiery robed middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man did not say anything in return and just moved in for the kill. He once more brandished the halberd he held on his hands and another tower of flames appeared, but with another slash, another tower appeared and then another and another,,, a storm of towering flames appeared.

The Grand Light Phoenix did not back down from such a sight, instead, it flapped its wings and a bright light emerged from its body. A golden spear appeared before it and sped away to pierce the towering flames together with the middle-aged man.

"[Light Spear]!" The Grand Light Phoenix hatefully screeched.

The spear was as large as a small hill and its power was even more immense. The light of the world seemed to have gathered into the light spear and the spear moved the wind was rendered and the earth trembled.

The tower of flames was pierced like it was nothing and hurried over to the fiery robed middle-aged man. The Light Spear was moving quickly but the opposition was showing any worry on his face, instead, he was calm as if he had been through thousands of fights.

The middle-aged man tightly held the halberd on his hand and then shouted, "[Dragon's Dance]!"

The roar of a Dragon was heard coming straight from the halberd. The flames that surrounded the man danced wildly and met with the Light Spear of the Grand Light Phoenix!

Boom!

A large explosion followed. Black smoke rose into the air and blotted the moon and the sky. It was dark as even the Grand Light Phoenix was devoured by the smoke. The man did not ease up in such an event as he became on guard even further.

He floated in the air with his senses to its peak, and as he waited and waited, the attack finally came from the left, "Die HUMAN!"

The large body of the Phoenix was compressed to the size of a three-meter large beast. Its speed became something to be terrified of and as its sharp claws pointed at the man, the man moved to the side and said, "[Chains of Flames]."

Ten chains made of flames appeared from the body and tried to seal the movements of the Grand Light Phoenix. Seeing this, the Grand Light Phoenix kept its distance and quickly flew in a hurry.

It was not the only one escaping as of this moment because the beast that lived in the Light Valley was escaping to not get caught in the fight of the two behemoths. These beasts were the select few who chose to stay when everyone evacuated days ago when the King of the Valley showed signs of what might to come.

Amidst these escaping beasts was none other than Wang Ling and Bai Xue. They were flying away with high speeds and even after leaving the Light Valley and standing for tens of kilometers away, the pressure of the two fights could still be felt.

From so far away, even with their good visions Wang Ling and Bai Xue can't watch the fight of two Immortals. The only thing they can see is the light of the two beings that surpasses their comprehension.

Wang Ling cannot make any ins and outs of what kind of strength is being used in the battle between the two beings. He is aware that it is qi, but something about their qi is different from the qi he utilizes, no, there are some similarities, but there are also difference.

Without knowledge about the matter, Wang Ling turned to the one he knows what is happening. He turned for Bai Xue for answers, "That qi they are utilizing, just what is that qi? I can feel that they are using qi, but something about it just feels different."

His question baffled Bai Xue because of the simple fact that Wang Ling can feel the flow of qi, "For you to sense it is in its own a remarkable thing. That qi is different from what you and I know of and to be honest, that flow of qi you are talking about, it can barely get a glimpse of it because that qi is the qi of the higher beings. That is the qi of Immortals otherwise known as, Immortal Qi. If Qi can make a mortal take the path of cultivation and become a being that surpasses cultivators, then Immortal qi opens the path to a place higher than Immortality, Godhood. Though this is just from a Legend I once read. But considering your bloodline has the name of True Devil GOD, then I think that Legend they spoke of before is actually true."

"Immortal Qi." Wang Ling nodded his head and then continued to watch the fight from so far away. The clashes continued and he was mesmerized by the fight, but occasionally, he and Bai Xue had to move away because if they didn't, they would be caught up in the fight of the two that is constantly moving.

At some point, they had already moved for dozens of kilometers away from where they stood before. Wang Ling did not complain because the more he felt the flow of the Immortal Qi, the more he can tell the difference and the more it resonates with him.

The fight of the two Immortals was brutal as blood would spurt out everywhere but it was not quick. The two were fighting for hours but no clear winner can be drawn.

And as seven hours passed, something happened that is beyond Wang Ling's expectation. No, it had nothing to do with the fight between the two Immortals as it was on the Communication Talisman he had with him.

One of the two Communication Talisman he had risen to the air and burned off signifying a connection had been established with him and the other side.

And as his mind connected with it, he heard the disheveled and perturbed voice of Butler Sun coming from the other side.

"First Young Master, emergency, something happened!"

"What happened!? Speak!" Wang Ling's heartbeat spiked as he asked. Butler Sun was a calm person amidst the chaos. He raged war against the Mu Clan with calmness and he killed with calmness but as Wang Ling listened to his panicking voice, there was also hint of anger.

Butler Sun answered with a loud shout, "THE YOUNG MISS HAVE BEEN TAKEN!"
