I know you know that you are aware of the Wang Family's standing and the power it holds, and if I ride the waves of its rise, I can establish my own power and I can assure you that if I become the figure of this sect, I'll be able to fortify it and have it ascend to the top in two years."

So, he gave out a name to lead the sect who will lead the world to a greater and brighter future and the person he chose was, both leaders of the two academies.

The two leaders opposed saying that conflict may arise if two leaders are present. Good thing they were open-minded; if not, this whole thing would be a bust.

But Wang Ling reassured them saying, "This is just the first generation. Obviously the leader of the Academy for the first generation will be different. I want both of you to lead the sect for twenty years, and in that time you two will become a symbol that any of the two paths will be able to achieve greater heights even if they choose any of the two paths. And in these 20 years, you are to both find and agree on the next official Sect Leader and another two Representatives who will choose the next Sect Leader. The Sect Leader can be weak but he must be wise, the two representatives must also be wise, but they cannot be weak for they will be the balance that will hold the two paths as one and they will be forever called, the [Emissaries]."

On the coming months, the inevitable came for the Mu Clan and Frost Peak Sect. They were annihilated and destroyed to the last member.
