Celestial Peak Chapter 474

At the central Regions of the Origin Lands, there was a Temple that houses the Spatial Path leading to the vast Origin World hidden at a Dimensional Fold.
On its grand gold-plated stairs was an old woman wearing a white hooded tunic descending. She was what one would call a Temple Watcher, someone who assists a cultivator cross to the next Origin World.
She was not a strong cultivator, only a Rank 3 cultivator at best, such was the ways of the Temples split across the Cosmos. The old Temple Watcher descended and then stopped by the arch of the golden stairs.
She looked to her side and saw a unique lot resting by the roadside, they did not wear masks other than the young man in white scholarly robes, "Are you guys still waiting for your companion today?"
"Seems like it. We cannot exactly use the Path without him, so we are left to only wait for his arrival." Roan answered the old woman.
"You know that the Spatial Path is open to anyone, it is not taxed or anything?"
As the old woman said, the usage of the Spatial Path was not taxed. It was for free and did not need anyone to pay for its usage. The coordinates could easily be set, thus easy to operate and could accommodate thousands of people at a single day without a problem.
Though it does stop operations after sunset.
"If that is the case, I would see you later, please try not to cause a major ruckus like yesterday. The temple is a land of peace, we do not want to kick anyone away because of creating a disturbance." The old woman looked over at Wang Ling and Qinyang who accidentally let out too much of their bloodlust.
"We will keep that in mind." Wang Ling stated as he bowed his head to the old woman.
"It seems like we will be staying here today as well. I'll go to the City Region and grab something. A friend of mine should be opening his shop today for the first time in nine years. I want to grab something from him." seeing how no one was arriving today as well, Roan invited everyone to eat, "Just so you guys know, I will be getting one of the best wine in the Cosmos, called the Immortal Seven Wonders Wine available only even nine years, so, does anyone want some?"

"We'll take some." The twins raised their hands.
"Me as well." Wang Ling answered from the side while training Qinyang.
"I would like some as we—"
"Ignore the Young Miss, she cannot handle her alcohol." Yuan Qing blurted out and Qinyang pouted.
"I'm already sixteen thousand years old, I can handle it like anyone else!"
"See you're not even drunk and you're already saying something incomprehensible. Devil, if you please, get the Young Miss some flavored water and candies if you could." Yuan Ming did not believe Qinyang. She had watched him several palaces before, there was no way she's going to let her drink after that.
"All right, I will get a hundred bottles of Immortal Seven Wonder Wine, Chang Ping, lass, what is that you want?" Roan offered Chang Ping who had been sitting cross-legged at the same position for the last three days.
"He'll be here today; I know he will so I don't need some." Chang Ping's words were calm, but her rage could be seen manifesting through the edges of her sword. She was prepared to kill the First Sword when he arrives, "He's going to die a very painful death."
"Well, try not to kill him before he takes us to the Origin World," Roan said before disappeared into the night sky.
Leaving the temple, Roan reached the city in just a few steps. Without Wang Ling, he could move as fast as he wanted without a problem. He could have even torn through space itself and travel through the rifts but he was too lazy to do so.
Stopping at the front of a closed shop the shop was old and looked abandoned. Roan was just about to knock on its doors, when a young man sitting dejectedly on the side of the store said to him otherwise, "He's not going to come out, even if you ask nicely. He'll threaten you, young man, so it would be best if you just wait tomorrow for the opening."
The young man said as he began tearing his hair out before looking at Roan with a crooked smile "Just wait with me here… it would be nice to tell someone my life story before I die tomorrow… heh."

"Thank you for the tip. But I know the man inside." Roan just ignored the young man and continued to knock on its doors.
Tak! Tak! Tak!
"I told you, I'm not open until tomorrow! Also, I don't care if you are from the Sword Tower, if you knock again, I will shove a sword up until it exits your mouth!"
Roan did not care, "It's me you fool, open it up!"
"Me, Who? Do you think I have clairvoyance?"
"Roan!"
"Roan!?" from inside hurried steps were heard and as the doors opened in haste, an old man's eyes lit up seeing the person on the other side, "It's actually you! It had been so long since we saw each other!"
An old wearing a very luxurious robe greeted Roan with enthusiasm. His white hair betrayed his bright and vibrant skin, he looked old yet young at the same time, much like the mark of an expert.
"Good to see that you are well, Dulir, my friend."
"Haha, did you think I would die? I may not be as strong as you are, but who do you think I am?"
"A loudmouth fool, that's who."
"Shut up." Dulir laughed, "Well, enough of that, I reckon you came here for wine? You never visit me for anything, anyways."
"Not like I can find you anywhere else other than the time you sell your products."
"Well, that is indeed true. Come in, I especially prepared some for you." Dulir and Roan entered the shop, leaving the young man on the side of the road with a gaping mouth.
Dulir led Roan to a stairwell leading underground, there, they talked in order to catch up.
"So, how did your ingredient gather went with this batch?"
"Pretty good, but I almost lost my life when a three Sects tried to take my life for the Silver Tongue Root. I killed them all, but it took me three days to do so."
"That's why I told you to stop for at least a hundred years and try and reach Heaven Hell Harmony Realm. That should be enough to travel the Cosmos without fearing for much. That way even if you encounter a Sect Master you offended you will still live, with your skills with the spear even a King-Class Abyssal Demon will not be able to touch you at that level."
"Haha, we already had this talk when you and I first met, I will rather die than stop making wine, it's all I have at this point." Dulir's laughter was filled with pain that Roan understood deeply.
The Immortal Seven Wonder Wine was the masterpiece of the great Dulir Abract the Insane Spear. It was born from the desire of his wife to drink the finest wine in the Cosmos as a last wish, though she died before he could even finish the recipe, Dulir pushed forth to complete a masterpiece.
The first bottle he created was drained in front of his wife's grave to honor her wishes. To continue remembering her wife, Dulir decided to continue making the wine, it was the only he could do to keep the memories fresh and his emotions in check.
Roan knew this because he was there when Dulir's wife died.
Seeing Dulir's back, Roan could not say anything other than, "You will die doing this, you know."
"If that happens, I'll be able to reincarnate and find Ulis in my next life. It's a win for me either way. You know the reason why I haven't killed myself, Roan, don't tempt me with death, hahaha!"
"Well… death really is tempting for the both of us, isn't it?"
Dulir raised his brows as he snorted at Roan's words, "Don't treat me the same as you. Unlike you, I have a reason to keep in living. I live to remember the memories I have of her and to hold the very little hope of meeting her again, as for you, my friend, you live to punish yourself."
