In the evening, once the observation period got over Li Juan was discharged from the hospital.

However instead of going back to home, Guan Tian Long forced his brother to celebrate the happy news by treating everyone with dinner.

As soon as Li Juan got into car, it felt that she was in the middle of chaotic battle field as the three brothers started to discuss about where to eat.

"It is just a dinner, why are you guys arguing like this?" She asked them.

"It is not just a dinner. It is a congratulatory dinner, we should go to a some place which sells good food," Guan Tian Long enthusiastically said,

"It's the first meal after knowing about your baby, as his family we are obliged to feed you something tasty. That's the custom,"

It was a customary tradition to feed the pregnant woman a wide variety of tasty food as soon as the news of her pregnancy is revealed.

It was celebrated as a grand function with both sides of the family in order to show their gratitude to the woman who carries their bloodline to the next generation. However they haven't officially married yet, Guan Tian Long had any other option than to arrange a low-key version for Li Juan and Lee Tae Yang.

"I don't need anything fancy, even a porridge would be fine," Li Juan said her mind. She just want to eat something to fill her stomach and get back to home.

"What are you saying Xiao Li, how can you eat porridge on such a happy occasion? If my mother knows about it, she would bring a whole container ship filled with food and beat the shit out of us for even thinking about feeding you porridge,"

Li Juan could not help but laugh when she heard his words. Lee Tae Yang and Guan Tian Long were considered as courageous and overbearing men before everyone, but as soon as someone mentions about their family they immediately turns scaredy cats.

"Did you tell anyone at home?" Lee Tae Yang inquired as he listened to his brother mentioning about their family.

" Why would I tell anyone? It's your duty to inform about your baby,"

"Let's don't reveal it to anyone...yet," He demanded with an indifferent face.

"Huh?" The rest of the people in the car looked at him in confusion. He doesn't want to share the happy news with their family.

Is he planning something?

Lee Tae Yang tilted his head and took a glance at Li Juan who was staring at him as if he said something unbelievable.

"You won't be able to finish your research if they knew about our baby," He wrapped her palm within his hands and explained with a tender smile.

"Baby probably wants Mommy to finish her work rather than make her busy with wedding preparations,"

The tightened corners of Li Juan's lips relaxed as she listened to him. Lee Tae Yang was thinking from her shoes. She worked hard for her research and how can he force her into a shotgun marriage?

"I know you love us, but you must know that we value your work as much as you do. So wedding can wait," He gave her an assuring smile and squeezed her hand.

"I will have a baby bump on our wedding photo. Is that okay for you?" Li Juan asked innocently.

"Trust me, you will look more pretty by then," Lee Tae Yang gently bobbed her nose with his finger tip.

However Li Juan's questions didn't end there, she went on asking. No matter, how happy and contented they are, will their families feel the same, especially getting pregnant before the marriage?

"What if our families don't-"

"Shushhhhh," Lee Tae Yang placed his finger on her lips and silenced her. "You don't have to worry about our family. I will take care of it,"

"Don't worry, Xiao Li. Grandpa Guan would be glad to hear that he will be having a great grandchild," Guan Tian Long tried to ease Li Juan's worries.

"Yes Noona, they would be really happy to know that you guys are having a baby...you know, more the merrier,"

"Yes that's right," Guan Tian Long added and slowed down the car,

"What do you want to eat, Xiao Li? We will have that too,"

"How about sea food?" Li Juan asked suddenly,

"Are you sure about that?" Lee Tae Yang was little bit surprised by her choice.

"Yes,"

Well, it is better that she eats her favorite food, before their baby starts get picky about food.

Lee Tae Yang asked his brother to drive the car to one of the best sea food restaurants and ordered everything on their menu to celebrate their happiness.

After the dinner, Guan Tian Long dropped the couple at their condo and decided to crash into Lee Tae Min's place.

Of course, he can't afford to see anymore PDA and eat dog food.

When Li Juan came out of the bathroom after a warm shower, she saw Lee Tae Yang sitting on the bed while holding on to a sheet of paper.

"Yangyang, are you going to work?" She asked while drying her hair with a towel,

"No," He replied in a plain voice without averting his eyes from the paper.

"I see," Li Juan sat in front of the mirror as she took the blow dryer while stealing glances at the man who was immersed on reading.

It was rare for him to ignore her presence and immerse into something else.

However, the next moment Lee Tae Yang raised his gaze from the paper and locked his eyes with hers.

Li Juan forgot to breathe as she watch a mesmerizing smile bloom in his face, revealing his dimples.

"Do you want any help, Xiao Li?"

She wobbled her head in denial,

He nodded and got out of the bed,

For a moment, Li Juan thought that he was heading towards her, however he walked out of the room, leaving her baffled.

Is there anything wrong? What is this luke warm response?

Li Juan switched off the blow dryer and rose into her feet to follow him.

"Baby, why Daddy is acting weird?" She mumbled as she walked towards the door,

As she tried to grab the door handle, it got open by Lee Tae Yang from the other side.

"Huh, where are you going?" He asked her with a puzzled look as he managed to carry his medical kit.

"Huhh...I was," She tried to come up with a lie, "water..I was going to get water,"

"Water is kept inside,"

"Oh I forgot," Li Juan turned back and walked towards the bedside table to get a glass of water.

"What is that?" She asked him while sipping on the water.

"Didn't you ask me to check your blood pressure?"

Lee Tae Yang replied as he sat on the sofa and began to take out the sphygmomanometer.

"I thought they would have done it in the hospital,"

"I want to re-check,"

Li Juan was loss at words for a moment, before voicing out her biggest fear.

"Is there anything wrong with me?"

"No, no, no," Lee Tae Yang immediately denied it, "I want to check inorder to keep a journal for you. It will come handy in future,"

Something seems off.

Li Juan gently strode towards the man who was picking up the stethoscope.

"Yangyang,"

Lee Tae Yang raised his gaze and found that Li Juan was standing before him with a perturbed look.

"Is there anything worrying you?"

He remained silent for a moment while staring at her coal black eyes and grabbed her arms,

"I am sorry for acting like a rogue. I should have paid more attention to you," He sounded apologetic as he went on,

"What are you saying Yangyang? Li Juan interrupted him, "I thought you are happy to hear about our baby?"

"I am happy... really I am. It's just...I am guilty that I failed to recognize the changes happening to you,"

Lee Tae Yang pulled her closer and wrapped his hands around her as he rested his face on her abdomen.

"I am sorry, Xiao Li. If I was little more attentive, we could've avoided what ever happened today," He stopped for a moment,

"And baby, Daddy is really sorry for being irresponsible. I promise that I won't repeat it. I will not put you and Mommy in a dire situation, again," He rumbled the words of assurance as he pressed his lips on her abdomen.

"I promise that I will always take good care of you and Mommy,"

Li Juan who was moved by his words, tenderly caressed his hair with as her eyes beamed with affection.

"There is no need to say sorry, Yangyang. Even I didn't pay much attention to my health. I thought I was just exhausted due to work,"

Lee Tae Yang raised his head from her and looked at her with a tinge of surprise.

Li Juan smiled sweetly and bent down to place a kiss on his forehead.

"But Mr Lee, you are doctor, how come you didn't even think that unprotected-" Li Juan swallows her words as the truth hits her,

"You did it on purpose, didn't you?" Her eyes almost popped out of the socket when she realised that it was his plan all along.

Lee Tae Yang's thin lips curled into a devilishly handsome grin as he pulled Li Juan down and made her sit on his lap,

"I know that you are happy with me, so I thought why don't I double the happiness...you know, more the merrier?" He tried to pacify her.

"You are a scheming little...nah giant fox, you know that?" She pouted her lips, "I hope my baby won't get these traits of you,"

"What did you say?" His face turned a shade darker as her words reached him.

"Scheming fox," Li Juan repeated without any hesitation and pulled his cheeks. "Giant scheming fox,"

"No. After that,"

"I hope my baby won't-" She recited like a parrot,

"Our baby," He corrected her. "Not yours, not mine.. it's our baby,"

"Yes, yes... our baby," She repeated as an overwhelming feeling bubbled up in her mind.

"My baby will be always you," Lee Tae Yang gave a quick peck on her lips, "Now sit here, let me check your blood pressure,"

He made her sit on the sofa and busied himself with the procedure to check her blood pressure.

Lee Tae Yang placed the arm cuff on her and located her pulse with the help of a stethoscope.

"It's saddening to know that I don't have any memories of you, being a doctor," Li Juan commented on,

"Huh?"

"You look extremely handsome, while doing all these...I wonder how many women would've fell for you,"

"I am not sure about it, but I clearly remember a girl who dared to trap me under her charm," Lee Tae Yang gave her an acknowledging smile as he squeezed the pressure gauge.

As soon as he finished, Lee Tae Yang took a journal and noted down the results.

"Did you find anything abnormal?" Li Juan inquired as she watched his straight face.

"No. You should tell me if you are feeling unwell. Even if it is a headache, don't hesitate to inform me," He demanded with all seriousness.

"Is there anything to worry?"

"No. It's our first baby and we should be careful," He smiled and patted her hair.

"Hmmm, I will tell you right away," Li Juan promised.

"I have made an appointment in OB-GYN department and let's get your check up done tomorrow itself,"

"Okay,"

He removed the arm cuff and placed it on the side table.

"And we should go shopping,"

"Huh?"

Lee Tae Yang extended his arms to unhook the frontal opening of her night gown which started to get tighten around her chest area.

"Your body is preparing to become a mother and...and," He stuttered as he got distracted by the bedazzling view of her voluptuous mounts in front of him.

"And we should control ourselves," Li Juan covered his eyes with a chuckle.

"Let's sleep, we need to go to hospital tomorrow," Li Juan suggested as she stood up from the sofa and dragged Lee Tae Yang to the bed.

"Give me a minute, let me clear this,"

"Fine," She replied and climbed on to the bed as Lee Tae Yang started to keep his medical equipment back in to the bag.

Once he finished, he quickly walked over and laid down next to Li Juan.

" Yangyang..I thought heavens have blessed me with you...but now our baby," She mused as she snuggled on to Lee Tae Yang.

"It feels like I am the luckiest person on earth,"
