《Glory e-sports》Chapter 146: Lu Feng bowed his head and kissed him.

He waited for a while but still didn’t get a reply.
Wei Xiao glanced at the time and could only go back to the lounge.
They had to pack up and return to the base. He couldn’t make everyone wait such a long time for him.
He pushed open the door and walked in. Bai Cai glanced over, originally planning to tease him secretly, but he then saw that the corners of his eyes were a little red.
Brother Cai: “……” What was the situation? Why was he crying after winning the game?
Wei Xiao was afraid that he would notice and turned his face away to talk to Ning Zhehan.
Brother Cai: This cover up couldn’t be more obvious.
There were many people in the lounge, and it wasn’t convenient for him to ask about it. He could only continue to discuss the game just now.
In the van, Brother Cai sat down beside Wei Xiao very naturally.
Wei Xiao looked down at his cell phone from time to time absent-mindedly.
Bai Cai lowered his voice and asked, “What’s the matter? Did you fight?”
Fight with the captain? Little Lunatic Wei would actually fight with the captain? How did they fight?
Brother Cai’s pitiful brain really couldn’t imagine it.
Wei Xiao: “No.”
After saying this, he felt that he hadn’t stressed it enough and emphasized, “I wouldn’t fight with the captain.”
Bai Cai peeked at him. “Then what’s the deal with your expression that looks like you’re about to cry?”
Wei Xiao: “…………”
After two seconds of silence, Daddy Wei turned his head away coolly. “Who’s about to cry?”
Brother Cai: “……”
Wei Xiao threatened him, “Do you believe that daddy won’t hammer you until you’re about to cry!”
Bai Cai rolled his eyes at him. “Laozi’s too lazy to pay attention to you.”
Wei Xiao ignored him and turned his head to the window, staring out at the street lights.
The greenery in S City was getting better and better. The camphor trees by the side of the road were well illuminated even late at night, and the dense branches and green leaves looked even more beautiful than they did during the day.
Wei Xiao looked outside in a daze and thought of the garden in the base.
Spring had really arrived. The magnolias were blooming, one beautiful white flower blossoming after another, and the purple plum trees were also covered with small cloud-like flowers…
There had clearly been none of that when the captain had left.
Wei Xiao lowered his eyelashes. When the captain came back, it would be about time for those beautiful flowers to fall.
During the trip all the way back to the base, his cell phone never made a sound.
It was already so late, and they naturally wouldn’t do the game replay now. Chen Feng told them to tidy up their things and go to sleep, “Tomorrow is Monday. There’s no game, so get some proper rest.”
They’d once again ushered in the ‘off-season’ that came once a week. Although it was short, it also allowed them to take a slight breather.
Wei Xiao slowly went up the stairs and threw himself onto the bed after he entered his room.
Soybean had just woken up. It whined as it ran up to him.
Wei Xiao rubbed its doggy head and asked it, “Why is he ignoring me?”
Soybean stared at him with its big eyes. “Ao!” Daddy, what are you talking about?
Wei Xiao patted it on the head. “What are you ‘ao’-ing for!”

Soybean sensed that he was in a bad mood and whined slightly, pushing its head against him.
Spring had arrived. Not only were the flowers blooming, dog fur was also flying everywhere like crazy.
Wei Xiao was forced to eat a mouthful of dog fur and was filled with disdain for it. “Go over there, go over there…”
However, Brother Soy was a real son and couldn’t be driven away or beaten up. Other than being hugged to sleep, it was useless everywhere else.
Wei Xiao had originally thought that he wouldn’t be able to sleep, but after washing up and collapsing into bed, he soon fell into dreamland.
He was too tired.
During this past week, he’d always been as taut as a string. In the moment where it was all over, he was thoroughly tired out.
FTW had won against TPT.
He’d won.
But what about the captain…
What exactly did he have to do, in order… in order for the captain to get better.
Feelings of helplessness and powerlessness all swarmed into his heart, pressing down on him until he couldn’t breathe.
Wei Xiao had nightmares all night, one after another, absurd pieces and short scenes that were both fragmented and maddening––
The magnolia flowers in the base hung suspended like lotus flowers out of the water, hanging alone on the branches. A gust of wind blew over, and the white petals fell, landing on the ground, on the pedestrians’ shoulders, drifting in the cold air.
Lu Feng stood beneath the magnolia tree and spoke to him in a light voice, “I’ve stopped physiotherapy.”
Wei Xiao felt like he’d been struck with lightning, shivering with cold.
Lu Feng apologized to him, “I’m sorry, I’ve disappointed you.”
Wei Xiao woke up from the nightmare.
It was dark in the room. He sat up under the dark gray quilt, his short hair damp with sweat, sticking to his pale face. A drop of sweat slid down along his temples and landed on his cold jade-like clavicle with a distinct sound.
Half a beat later, he pulled his knees up, clutching at his hair with both hands and squeezing his eyes shut.
There was no sound, only a slight trembling along his back.
Don’t do this…
Please don’t…
He didn’t have parents and had lost his grandmother. The only thing he wanted was Lu Feng.
Don’t bully him anymore.
Please stop bullying my captain.
Nightmares came and went quickly.
After he pulled open the curtains and saw the bright sunshine outside, Wei Xiao’s mood became much better.
He went to take a shower, then went downstairs to look for something to eat, having basically tossed the broken and fragmented segments of the dream to the back of his head.
Wei Xiao bit down on a small fork and ate bites of watermelon on and off, his left hand gently sliding over his cell phone.
There were no missed calls, no messages.
There was nothing at all.
Wei Xiao looked at the time and couldn’t help giving Lu Feng a call.
It was still the same busy tone…
What was going on?
Wei Xiao couldn’t continue eating anymore. No matter how sweet the watermelon was, it tasted of nothing when it entered his mouth.
He frowned and couldn’t help sending out another message, “Captain?”
It was still like a stone sinking into the sea. There was no response.
It was already eleven o’clock in the evening over there. Hadn’t the captain returned to his hotel yet?
He was in a foreign country. Nothing should’ve happened to him, right?
Wei Xiao’s heart clenched, and he grew flustered.

What to do?
Yuan Ze!
Wei Xiao slid his finger across his cell phone, pulling up Yuan Ze’s contact information.
Just then, a strange number called in.
Wei Xiao was startled and picked up the call, “Hello?”
There was a small pause from the other side before the voice he yearned for transmitted over, “You’re awake?”
Wei Xiao’s heart, which had jumped all the way up to his throat, instantly fell back to its original spot and calmed down. “How come I couldn’t get through to you the whole time?”
Lu Feng’s tone was abashed, “I lost my cell phone.”
Wei Xiao: “!”
HIs captain who was meticulous when handling affairs and never made mistakes had actually lost his cell phone?
Wei Xiao was very surprised, but he also felt that it was strangely cute. The bitterness that he’d suppressed all night became sugar, and he couldn’t help being happy. “Spending money to avert disaster, captain, don’t cry.”
It was over. What should he do about the fact that he found the situation funny? His captain, who’d lost his cell phone, must be very anxious and worried, and he didn’t know how long it would take to set everything back up again.
What Wei Xiao hadn’t noticed was that the call came from a domestic phone card.
If Lu Feng was abroad, then why would he pick up a domestic phone card?
Lu Feng’s voice was a little tired, “Yesterday’s game was great.”
Wei Xiao had been praised for a whole day and night, but what he wanted to hear most was this sentence from Lu Feng. He spoke with restraint, “It was alright, we managed to cobble together a win.”
Lu Feng laughed lightly, “Don’t let Fu Li hear you.”
Wei Xiao bragged, “I’m not scared of saying it to his face!”
Lu Feng: “Not afraid that he’ll plot against you?”
Wei Xiao: “I’m afraid that he won’t!”
The fatigue that Lu Feng had accumulated after 12 hours of tossing and turning was swept away by his clear voice, “Where are you?”
Wei Xiao’s ears were itchy, and his mouth moved faster than his heart, “In the dining room, but I can go upstairs immediately if you require coaxing to sleep services.”
Lu Feng: “……”
Wei Xiao licked his lower lip briefly and seduced him deliberately, “Do you require my services? Boyfriend.”
Lu Feng looked out the window at the large stretch of magnolia flowers and breathed in lightly, “Yes.”
Wei Xiao jumped up. “Wait for me.”
He was about to go upstairs immediately, but Lu Feng stopped him, “Come out for a while.”
Wei Xiao: “Huh?”
Lu Feng could see his figure through the window. He spoke in a low voice, “Outside the base.”
Wei Xiao was stunned for a moment. His heart leapt up suddenly and almost stopped.
He didn’t know how he left the dining room, didn’t know how he made it through the living room, and didn’t know how he rushed out through the villa’s automatic door.
The spring breeze alternated between cold and warm.
It was cold enough to make one shiver in the morning, but was soft enough to send one into a trance at noon.
A burst of wind carrying the scent of flowers blew through. Large white petals drifted down with the wind, falling gently on the man’s shoulders.
His black trench coat stretched down to his calves, the legs contained inside were long and straight, and the first button of his dark shirt was loose, making the curve of his neck and jaw all the more attractive.
He stood there amidst the white flowers and gentle breeze, but all of it couldn’t compare to the faint smile at the corners of his mouth.
Wei Xiao was dazed and tried to blink.
Lu Feng called out to him softly, “Little Xiao.”
It was as though a switch was turned on. Wei Xiao rushed over and hugged him hard, “Cap…” The word captain crowded his throat, and he couldn’t speak at all.
Lu Feng printed a kiss on his ear. “Mm.”
Wei Xiao felt as though he’d just been electrocuted. He released his hands and looked at him. “You…”
Lu Feng bowed his head and kissed him.
Wei Xiao: “!”
He accidentally bumped into the magnolia tree. The tree wasn’t very sturdy, and more magnolia petals shook loose, drifting down like a snowfall in spring.
Their lips and teeth entangled, and Wei Xiao’s brain was filled with a buzzing sound. He couldn’t think of anything at all.
He wrapped his arms around Lu Feng’s neck and tried to kiss him back.
After missing him for so long, waiting for him for so long, the person he’d missed every night and every day had appeared in front of him.
Even if it was a dream, he was also willing to immerse himself in it.
They kissed and hugged. The two people who were panting for breath couldn’t let go of each other.
Until the sound of the husky drifted over from the distance.
Lu Feng pulled Wei Xiao with him to hide deep in the garden.
Wei Xiao gasped, “Captain…”
Lu Feng’s index finger pressed against his reddened lips. “Don’t make a sound.”
Wei Xiao wrapped his lips around his finger.
Lu Feng: “……”
Brother Cai was walking Soybean outside.
Bai Cai had been too tired yesterday and had gotten up later than usual. In fact, Soybean had already gone out to run around in the morning, but Brother Soy had become very accustomed to the walks and now had a habit of looking for its Uncle Cai every day. So when it had seen Bai Cai coming down the stairs, it had brought over its dog leash for him.
Bai Cai: “……” Alright then, he really lost to this father and son duo.
Fortunately, the base was big enough. Brother Soy was used to first running headlong towards the left and didn’t notice its two fathers.
Lu Feng listened to the sounds, and after making sure no one was there, he held Wei Xiao’s hand and ran to the villa.
Wei Xiao followed him. He wasn’t afraid to run to the ends of the earth as long as they could hold hands like this.
When they finally made it back to Wei Xiao’s bedroom and closed the door behind them, the two of them looked at each other and smiled.
Wei Xiao panted, “Why are we acting like thieves?”
Lu Feng looked at him. “I came back secretly.”
Wei Xiao was a little stunned. His heart that was overflowing with sweetness emptied out slightly, and he thought of his dream.
Lu Feng was still talking, “Don’t make it public. It’s not good for them to know.”
On one hand, explaining it wouldn’t be convenient, and on the other hand, it would cause a lot of trouble if the news was leaked out.
The smile on Wei Xiao’s lips faded. He lowered his eyelashes, stared at his toes, and asked, “Why did you fly back so suddenly?” If he was avoiding people like this, it should mean that he hadn’t stopped treatment. So, why had he come back?
Lu Feng pulled out the check up document like performing a magic trick. “I wanted to show it to you personally.”
Wei Xiao’s eyes were fixed on the paper. In the next second, he practically snatched up the thin piece of paper and brought it closer to him.
Lu Feng didn’t say anything. He just looked at him.
Wei Xiao opened his eyes wide as he looked at the report. He didn’t even waste time blinking and only hated the fact that his English wasn’t fluent enough for him to read it at a glance so that he could clearly understand what the results were in the shortest possible time.
Lu Feng explained, “There’s been a turn for the better. If I persist for another month, it will basically recover.”
There was a rustle.
A huge tear dropped down onto the thin piece of paper that held many creases.
Lu Feng hadn’t taken anything with him when he flew back from North America. He’d even had his cell phone stolen from him when he was at the airport.
All he had left with him was his airplane ticket, his ID, some cash, and the check up report.
He’d kept it against his chest for 12 hours just so that he could bring it back for Wei Xiao to see.
Wei Xiao saw it, saw it clearly, and understood it clearly.
His tears kept flowing, but he couldn’t bear to put it down.
Lu Feng was distressed. “It’s alright, it’s…”
He hadn’t finished speaking when he saw Wei Xiao close his eyes and kiss the report gently.
His expression was almost pious
There was a bang.
Lu Feng could hear the sound of his own heart beating.
He whipped away the tearstained report.
Wei Xiao looked up blankly.
Lu Feng threw the thin sheet of paper aside, pressed him up against the door, and kissed him on the lips.
It wasn’t gentle, it wasn’t restrained. It was rough as all the feelings that had been suppressed for a long time poured into the kiss.
