《Glory e-sports》Chapter 191.1: Domestic semi-finals!

Asleep looked on in a daze.
On the screen, the butterfly warlock was surrounded by a circle of butterflies, looking like a dream of light and shadows.
Butterflies in dreams.
Because of some things that had happened in his early years, Asleep’s memory wasn’t very good.
He didn’t remember things that had happened more than a little while ago.
Professor Zhang had said that forgetting was a very good way to heal, so Asleep had never taken the initiative to recall the past.
However at this moment, looking at the butterfly warlock, there was a scene that seemed to appear and overlap with the present.
Was it a year ago, or two years ago, or maybe three years ago?
When they had played Glory for the first time, what hero had Cong Yi used?
Warlock……
Butterfly warlock…
“This butterfly warlock is very strong. There are so many butterflies even in a bronze ranked game, how badass.”
“This must be someone’s alt account! Are they trying to rank in the national servers?”
“Big boss, take a look at me! Are you short of a leg accessory who can blow rainbow farts?”
The game ended, and Cong Yi had asked Asleep, “Was it fun?”
Asleep: “Mm.”
Cong Yi: “The butterfly warlock is very interesting. Would you like to try it?”
Asleep shook his head.
Cong Yi: “Then, what do you want to play?”
Asleep pointed to the thief on the screen.
Cong Yi smiled. “This one? It’s a bit like you.”
Thieves hid and filled the darkness with thorns.
From then on, Cong Yi started to play support.
The sacred holy priest, the bright light priest, the sturdy giant shaman, the complex elemental shaman…
The only warlock that he ever touched now was the medicine warlock.
It turned out that Asleep could remember these things that happened long ago.
Asleep stood where he was and didn’t move at all.
“You don’t want the blue daddy?” Wei Xiao immediately went to snatch the blue buff. “I’m taking it.”
Asleep came back to his senses: “……”
His jungle creep had already been snatched away by Wei Xiao.
“Shameless.” Asleep typed out the word.
Wei Xiao smiled like a fox. “This is called ‘an able man is always busy’.”
After taking the blue buff, not only was his mana unlimited, there was also a reduction to his cooldown timers. The butterfly warlock’s performance became even more outrageous.
At the end of the game, the MVP naturally went to Wei Xiao.
Asleep became a decoration in the later stages of the game. He couldn’t snatch a single kill, and it was unnecessary for him to harvest anything. Other than leading the lane soldiers and clearing creeps, there was nothing else for him to do.
After the game ended, Wei Xiao looked at the time. “I’m going to go eat.”
Asleep: “Oh.”

Wei Xiao: “Go get some sleep.”
Asleep: “……”
Wei Xiao: “Keep your spirits up and lie there waiting to be abused in the semi-finals.”
Asleep: “…………”
Wei Xiao left without a backwards glance, or it could be said that he was burning with worry.
The captain was already upstairs and should be showering. If he didn’t go in and sneak up on him, then why had he woken up so early in the first place?!
He quit the game and walked barefoot to the bathroom. He’d just pushed the door open when Lu Feng’s low voice sounded out. “Careful, don’t slip.”
Wei Xiao ignored him and ran in with his clothes on.
Lu Feng turned off the shower. “Your clothes will get wet after a while.”
Wei Xiao looked at his boyfriend’s chest muscles and abs. “If you want me to take off my clothing, just say it directly. There’s no need to be so euphemistic.”
Lu Feng: “……”
Wei Xiao deliberately lifted up the hem of his t-shirt and revealed half of his waist.
Lu Feng: “Go out.”
Wei Xiao: “I want to shower, too.”
Lu Feng shifted his gaze away. “Then you go first.”
Wei Xiao pasted himself up against him, his hands misbehaving. “Captain, why are you so big…”
Lu Feng tilted his head and bit at his restless mouth.
When it came to banning sex, Lu Feng was the one who ended up being punished.
A certain little beast still felt great, because all he had banned was the last step.
He moaned and hummed happily on his own, while Lu Feng had to hold back from screwing him to death.
When they went to eat breakfast, Wei Xiao’s expression was very refreshed as he told him about Asleep’s matter.
Lu Feng’s hand paused as it was peeling shrimp, dropping his gaze to cover the smile in his eyes.
Bai Cai-cai, who’d finished walking the dog and stayed behind to eat and be a big light bulb, was shocked. “Old Wei, can you do it or not?”
Wei Xiao was waiting to eat the shrimp. “Why can’t I do it now?”
The captain was there, so he didn’t dare to say anything dirty. He corrected himself, “This wave of guidance you gave him is really excellent. It’s like you’re afraid that 3U won’t 3:0 us!”
Wei Xiao sighed. “Old Bai, you’re so dirty.”
Bai Cai: “……”
I’m dirtying your daddy!
Bai Cai snuck a glance at the captain––sigh, he didn’t want to look anymore. The great demon king was peeling shrimp and serving congee; his character design was completely broken!
Brother Cai said, “We’re going to be up against 3U soon. Just let them solve their problems on their own, why the hell would you rush in like that! If you wake Asleep up like waking a sleeping lion, and God Yi does a wave of excellent plays, then how will we win the semi-finals?!”

Wei Xiao glanced at him out of the corner of his eyes. “You’re afraid of Cong Yi?”
Bai Cai: “……”
He really had to respect this little beast. Did he have to be so sharp?!
Wei Xiao propped his cheek on his hand and looked at him. “It turns out you’re afraid of Cong Yi, hey.”
Bai Cai’s face flushed red. “I’m afraid of your daddy!”
Wei Xiao stuffed his mouth with a broccoli. “Don’t be afraid, big brother will protect you.”
Lu Feng: “Cough.”
Bai Cai: “Cough, cough, cough, cough!”
Don’t judge based on how they were all coughs, the gap between them wasn’t insignificant.
One was a fake cough, while the other was practically coughing up his own heart!
Wei Xiao turned his head and fed Lu Feng a piece of bacon. “I have the captain to protect me~”
This spoiled brat was becoming more and more spoiled!
Brother Cai gulped down three consecutive mouthfuls of water and really couldn’t hold on anymore,.“I-I’m finished eating!”
He was afraid that he wouldn’t be able to protect his little life if he remained here.
Wei Xiao waved his hand. “Snap out of it, we’re still expecting you to beat God Yan in the globals.”
The fleeing little vegetable almost slipped and fell.
Only Lu Feng and Wei Xiao were left in the dining area. Wei Xiao drank his watermelon juice and said, “I purposely said that for Bai Cai to hear.”
Wei Xiao could’ve talked to Lu Feng about Asleep and Cong Yi privately, but he’d chosen to speak of it at the table because he wanted to stimulate Bai Cai.
Lu Feng had guessed his intentions.
Wei Xiao complained, “If I don’t scare him a bit, then that salted fish vegetable won’t get serious.”
Lu Feng placed the shrimp on his plate. “With you protecting him, he doesn’t have anything to fear.”
Wei Xiao: “!”
Lu Feng: “Give him the taste of the whip, then feed him a piece of sugar. Wei Little Xiao, you really know how to coax people.”
The hair at the top of Wei Xiao’s head stood straight up. “Ah, this is all strategy, team strategy!”
Lu Feng: “Ha-ha.”
Wei Xiao hurriedly softened his voice, “I only coax you; in this lifetime, I’ll…”
Lu Feng didn’t look at him.
Wei Xiao came close to his ear. “… Only coax you.”
The corner of Lu Feng’s mouth curved up, and he stuffed a piece of toast in Wei Xiao’s mouth. “Eat.”
Wei Xiao’s mouth was damned good at seducing, “How about first eating…” He didn’t dare to say ‘me’.
Lu Feng stared at him.
Wei Xiao started to behave. “Okay, okay.”
Banning sex was the cruelest thing in this world!
The weather was very hot on May 25th.
S City had no spring or autumn. Winter was followed by summer, and even before June arrived, the weather was stuffy enough to leave people upset and dizzy.
FTW’s summer team uniform was very good. It was a polo style uniform, slim fitted with a neat neckline and a thin white edge on the short sleeves; it was just the right amount of embellishment.
The player’s name was on their left chest in white font on a black background, simple and clean. The only decoration was the flying dragon and dancing phoenix team emblem on the back, printed in white.
The three letters FTW were centered between two crossed swords with a circle in the background, like the sun in the sky.
The clothing was all the same, but individuals gave off different effects when they wore it.
Little Ning had newly dyed his hair a hazy blue. Paired with his clean, white skin, he looked like a rebellious teenager, even if his personality was so well-behaved that he was more like a little white rabbit.
Yue Wenle looked even paler in the black clothing. Adding on his recent bout of ‘special training’, he looked like a vampire from the Middle Ages who would be baked into a potato chip if he didn’t hide from the sun.
Bai Cai was the shortest in the team. With his polite and amiable temperament and broad smile, he was the most popular person (wife) in the heart of all fans worldwide.
It was the first time Wei Xiao was wearing the summer uniform, and it was a new experience for him. “The neckline is a little tight.” His fingers were slender, and he loosened up two buttons to reveal half of his collarbone.
Lu Feng raised his eyebrows.
Wei Xiao looked at him. “Captain, aren’t you hot?”
Lu Feng’s buttons were done up to the top, and his collar was straight and neat. The lines of his body were outlined perfectly.
Wei Xiao couldn’t help himself despite how they were in front of the whole team. “You’re too handsome!”
The corner of Lu Feng’s eyes landed on his neckline. “Button it up.”
Wei Xiao: “It’s hot.”
Lu Feng stared at him.
Wei Xiao: “Really!”
Lu Feng ignored him.
The fans were crying out loudly about the uniforms getting changed to a crew neck shirt next season!
Their male god group! They were too explosively handsome!
Quiet’s wild style and Close’s minimalist style were both absolutely amazing, okay? What was up with changing everyone to a crew neck shirt? FTW’s operations team, wake up!
Although, round collars were also very handsome…
And very attractive…
There were promotional films for the semi-finals. When FTW went to shoot theirs, the stylists and cameraman had all been very enthusiastic.
They were too easy to shoot, looking handsome no matter what arrangements were made. Any angle could be blown up into a large scale photo.
It was especially the case when Lu Feng and Wei Xiao stood together. Every inch of them looked irresistible with their two pairs of long, straight legs!

Life in the New World
On the Hiatus: I began writing this novel when I was, in all honesty, very bad at writing. I hope to revisit creative writing in the near future and I plan to, at some point in time, revisit this. I am flattered that many people have taken the time to read this story, but it is not what I intend to start with, as it will likely need a hard rewrite in order to correct many of the more glaring issues it has. Join our hero and follow his exciting adventure through a newly changed world! WARNING their will be violence, profanity,, and gore in this fiction. if any of these make you uncomfortable this is not a story for you turn around and walk away now!!!
