《Glory e-sports》Chapter 202.1: Quiet, rest for a bit. Give my Close a chance to talk, okay?

At this time, the audience in the live broadcast studio still didn’t know what they were about to experience. They were excitedly shipping their CP, so dizzy and oblivious with happiness that they had even scared away a group of straight men––naturally, these people eventually came back in a hurry in order to see the prophecy emperor.
The BP segment for the second match ended in the time when they were drinking watermelon juice, and both sides entered the game.
In this match, Moonlit was still playing an assassin mage talent. He’d gotten the blade mage.
From its name, it was clear that it was a close combat talent.
The blade mage dealt magic attacks, but its weapon was a sharp dagger. It had a rare set of three movement skills that allowed it to burst in and harvest a sudden kill. While it was a mage position, it could be just as fierce as an assassin.
Fu Li had chosen a very unpopular mage talent––the poison mage.
The poison mage was strong, but it now resided amongst the benched talents and hadn’t been seen in the arena for many years.
The commentators were surprised when they saw this talent, and concern for TPT was expressed both implicitly and explicitly in their words.
At first glance, the poison mage seemed very strong. Its skills were mainly focused on poison attacks that could break through defense and deal sustained damage. Its ultimate move, poison swamp, was an AOE skill with a wide range.
So why didn’t professional players use such an amazing mage talent?
It was because it had limited adaptability, and its continuous damage could be avoided. The defense reduction wasn’t useful against squishy c-positions, and poison swamp had a wide range that dealtt no damage against targets that weren’t locked in place.
As a talent that didn’t have any control skills, dealt unstable DPS, and didn’t have any other functions, it wasn’t strange for it to remain benched.
Wei Xiao also frowned when he looked at the poison mage. “Is TPT trying out a new routine?” He wasn’t one to look down on Fu Li.
Lu Feng’s thin lips shifted slightly.
The audience couldn’t hear what he’d said, but Wei Xiao heard it. His eyes opened wide. “Is that so?”
Lu Feng nodded.
The scrolling comments were curious enough to die. “What did the great demon king say!”
“Why did he only say it to Quiet? I want to have Close whisper into my ear too!”
“Where are the masters of lip reading? Please come and translate it quickly.”
There weren’t any lip reading masters, but there were a bunch of lip reading guessers.
“I think the great demon king said ‘I love you’.”
“Nonsense, it’s clearly ‘little darling’.”
“Nonono, my husband would only confess to me, so he must have said ‘I love Little Fei!’”
The scrolling comments became the scene of multiple rounds of guesses.
Wei Xiao smiled like a fox. “I’ll tell you guys what he said after the game.”
Scrolling comments: “???”
“Why is he going to keep us guessing? Is it because we haven’t sent out enough gifts?” 888 rockets flew across the screen.

Wei Xiao said, “It won’t be fun if I say it now, believe me. The answer will be revealed when the game is over!”
Alright then, Wei Xiao was very good at playing this game and really had a godly ability to whet people’s appetites.
When RR and TPT played against each other, the mid-lane was the place that attracted everyone’s attention.
Moonlit and Fu Li’s battle was something that more than 70% of the audience was looking forward to.
In this game, Fu Li changed his style from the first match’s careful steadiness and pushed towards the front. The poison mage’s demonic gas bombs were tossed out everywhere, perfectly limiting the blade mage’s positioning.
The scrolling comments sensed something. “This poison mage restrains Moonlit quite a bit.”
“So an assassin mage in the mid-lane fears the poison mage?”
“I’ve learned something! Fu Li’s really worthy of being Glory’s Learning God. He really has a lot of tricks!”
Once Moonlit was suppressed, RR’s situation in the game would become more precarious.
Mo Hui came to the middle lane to gank, but Fu Li was very careful. He used his demonic gas bombs to probe the bushes and exposed Mo Hui, avoiding a wave of fighting.
During the first ten minutes of the match, Lu Feng didn’t speak much at all.
Wei Xiao was already used to it. The captain didn’t like to speak, but he could chatter enough for both of them on his own.
But the fans weren’t happy. “Quiet, rest for a bit. Give my Close a chance to talk, okay?”
Wei Xiao noticed this scrolling comment and ignored it.
The fans persevered. “I’m here to see two people’s live broadcast, not here to listen to your monologue!”
Wei Xiao continued to ignore it.
The fans continued to kick up a fuss. “In the past, I really didn’t find Quiet so boring, but it’s really boring when you hear too much of him.”
Lu Feng’s eyebrows raised up slightly.
Someone caught this detail. “The great demon king’s angry. Where did this fool come from? The room managers should quickly shove him out with a pitchfork.”
Wei Xiao’s fans also started to quarrel, “Get lost if you find it annoying. Take a good look, this is Quiet’s live broadcast room!”
Seeing that the scrolling comments weren’t harmonious anymore, Lu Feng suddenly opened his mouth, “Moonlit shouldn’t have gone up for this round.”
Everyone, including Wei Xiao, was stunned as soon as he opened his mouth.
His voice was magnetic, his tone gentle, The quality of this sound travelled through the microphone all the way to the bottom of countless people’s hearts.
The scrolling comments suddenly went crazy, and the content of their comments were enough to make outsiders think that they’d mistakenly entered some idol’s live broadcast room…
Wei Xiao inevitably experienced a round of vinegar––what the hell are you calling husband for, he’s mine!
Unfortunately, these words couldn’t be said in public.
The female fans didn’t pay attention to what Lu Feng had said and only focused on the sound of his voice.
The male audience did pay attention. They commented, “Why shouldn’t he have gone up? The commentators said that Moonlit had grasped this opportunity well.”

Then, the scrolling comments were hit in the face just after they’d spoken.
RR sent out two kills, explosively giving TPT a wave of fertilizer.
The commentators changed their tune. “It’s a bit unfortunate. The timing was good, though…”
Just now, RR and TPT had started fighting in the river. Moonlit had locked in on the poison mage and moved in, using his dagger with a movement skill to arrive right in front of Fu Li’s face.
The commentator had immediately said, “Beautiful! Moonlit’s wave of actions here is very stable, the poison mage is going to be sent home…”
He hadn’t yet finished his words when Lu Feng had said, “… Moonlit shouldn’t have gone up.”
It was the same scene, but Lu Feng and the commentator had given different evaluations.
Who was right and who was wrong would soon be made clear.
Moonlit had indeed managed to stab Fu Li. Unfortunately, the poison mage was standing within the effect of his demonic gas bomb and resisted most of the damage. At the same time, he turned back and laid out his poison swamp. After Moonlit landed on the ground, his body became eroded by the poison gas, and his health fell continuously.
That alone wasn’t enough to kill Moonlit. He had multiple movement skills and could leave a poison swamp that had no ability to keep him in place. Unfortunately, Fu Li had calculated it very well, and when the swamp spread out far enough to reach the ancient creature, it was aggroed and roared. The dragon’s roar affected the ground like an earthquake, and all creatures within range would be dazed for 0.5 seconds.
Fu Li stood in his own poison swamp and received no damage, but Moonlit missed his chance to escape the poison swamp due to this short 0.5 seconds of control.
System Announcement––
TPT.Auroral killed RR.Moonlit!
After Fu Li killed Moonlit, RR’s support also followed him back home. He’d originally intended to come and support Moonlit so that they could fight back after he left the poison swamp, but unexpectedly, Moonlit had died just like that!
He turned around and ran. Reasonably speaking, Fu Li shouldn’t have been able to get to him, but unfortunately, Eurostar had also come over to provide support. One ice arrow shot over, so accurately that it made people’s scalps go numb, and helped RR’s support back to his home fountain after he was controlled to death.
RR used these two kills to tell everyone that Lu Feng’s words weren’t wrong at all.
They shouldn’t have gone up.
Moonlit really shouldn’t have gone up to fight.
The scrolling comments, who only realized what had happened after the fact, were shocked. “Nothing happens when the great demon king doesn’t speak, but as soon as he does, it’s a godly prophecy.”
“If Close didn’t have this game awareness, how would he deserve the title of number one in the world?”
“It’s just a blind cat running into a dead mouse. Don’t exaggerate it.”
“If Close really has this so-called godly prophecy, then why are FTW’s team fights so terrible?”
If it was said that Wei Xiao made use of his intelligence and wit to antagonize the haters, then Lu Feng directly used his strength to face the flamers in the scrolling comments.
A blind cat running into a dead mouse?
Then there were really too many dead mice.
Close didn’t deserve to have this godly prophetic power?
I’m sorry, but the development route for this match had already been laid out by the great demon king.
At first, Wei Xiao just felt that it was super cool!
Oh hey, it was too cool. This clean and crisp face slapping that made the flamers’ faces swell up so much that they didn’t dare to speak up; it made him feel great.
Later on, he was just as thrilled and surprised as the scrolling comments.
Lu Feng didn’t say much, but his few comments repeatedly hit the key points spot on.
––Moonlit was being reckless.
There was no need to think about it; Moon God died. The only difference was in who’d gotten the kill.
––Eurostar should’ve gone up.
There was no need to think about it; Eurostar missed out on two kills, making people want to grasp their own wrists in disappointment.
––RR’s support was one step too slow.
Good heavens, Mo Hui, who’d just managed to escape with a sliver of his health, died from poison.
––TPT’s going for the dragon.
Three seconds after his voice fell, the ancient creature was awakened…
20 minutes later, the scrolling comments were filled with exclamation marks.
“Am I watching the game live?”
“How come it’s so much like a post-game replay?”
“What’s going on with this style of commentary where everything’s been seen through?”
“If it wasn’t for the camera, I”d suspect that the great demon king was at the scene!” There was a small delay between the live situation and the live broadcast, which was just in line with the time difference for his advanced judgements.
However, the camera was very stable. Both people were in the shot, and the training room could be seen behind them. It couldn’t be faked.
But there were others who weren’t satisfied. “Even senior commentators can’t discern situations like this. I don’t believe that Lu Feng can see it so clearly!”
“Luck, it’s luck! It’s definitely just a coincidence!”
“The success rate of these coincidences is a bit high…”
“Such good luck is even scarier than godly prophecy, okay.”
The second match progressed to 35 minutes. Lu Feng dropped his gaze and asked Wei Xiao, “There are snacks downstairs, do you want to eat some?”
Wei Xiao was still staring at the game. “Wait until the game ends…” He blinked as he spoke, then looked at the captain. “So you mean to say, the game is coming to an end?”
Lu Feng: “Mm.”
Wei Xiao exclaimed, “RR really lost!”
His voice had just fallen when TPT’s support used an acceleration buff. The five TPT players moved like a gust of wind and rushed at the five RR players who were gathered in the middle lane. The poison swamp covered the river, and RR was destroyed after a wave of explosive DPS from TPT’s frost hunter.
TPT drew even with RR at 1:1!
xiin: happy 5.20~

MAZE - The Endless Quest
As all kids do, Hera wanted to be an explorer. Sadly when she turned 18, she discovered that her stats and lack of skills made her fail the requirements to become one, and she went to work on a bookstore. That should have been the end of her story. But when she wins a lottery to have her level up, she discovers a hidden skill and a rare one at that. The system gave her dream back, and this time she is not letting it go. ############################## The story is about a world where game-like systems are the norm. Everyone has a level, status, and even skills are a common thing. If your stats are good, you can also become an explorer, someone that ventures inside a place called MAZE, a dungeon of sorts filled with monsters, creatures, and things that the natural world is missing, such as magic and demi-humans. The story follows Hera, a woman who wanted to be an explorer, but her status were too low to become one. One day she wins a raffle that allows her to level up for the first time giving her the chance to achieve her childhood dream. It's more about how things work and what you can do with them than about power or revenge. The rhythm might be a bit slow for some, but that is the idea. I want to give sort of a slice of life feeling to most of it.

The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
