《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 507. Sacred Snow Lotus

The good thing was that these beasts had low activity ranges, which allowed players to go around them.
Hidden Lurker was a veteran player, after clearing two creatures at the foot of the mountain, he was clear of their attack ranges and characteristics.
Wang Yu followed behind the squad and walked up the mountain. Although it was treacherous, he hardly encountered any dangers.
Hidden Lurker bit down in frustration seeing that Wang Yu was following behind casually. He knew how powerful Wang Yu was, and he knew how strong Nian Liuyun was as well. He knew the gap between their powers and his- if Nian Liuyun was unwilling to assist, they would stand no chance.
"Bull God, you, me and Liuyun should be on the same team right?" Hidden Lurker smiled and said.
"Of course!" Wang Yu replied, he knew that this guy was up to no good.
"I can see that your aura is different from that of a normal person's, I feel safer with someone like you around," Hidden Lurker responded.
"Haha, of course!" Wang Yu smiled.
"If Bull God stood in front, the sense of security would be even greater don't you think?" Hidden Lurker added.
"Sure!" Wang Yu nodded. Now he knew that Hidden Lurker had an opinion with him tagging along to fight the dungeon.
Along the way, Wang Yu did indeed free load on a couple of quests. Although this sort of behaviour was rather unscrupulous, it was impressive that they could get this far.
Wang Yu naturally was not the thick-skinned sort to insist on carrying on, so he agreed to Hidden Lurker's request.
Seeing Hidden Lurker's evasion of the creatures so far, Wang Yu had a good estimate of their aggro ranges.
Before long, just as the squad was about to reach the peak, two monsters rushed over towards them.

Wang Yu's heart skipped a beat, why the creatures suddenly change their behaviour?
Within the blink of an eye, the two creatures were now in front of him.
Wang Yu stepped backwards to give himself some distance as he unleashed a kick on one of the creature's head.
-6542
The damage number floated up above the glacial giant beast's head as the two creatures howled and pounced at Wang Yu.
HP:100000
MP:5000
Skills: Rush, Bite
Passive ability: Permafrost
The glacial giant beast was indeed a tough fellow, Wang Yu's kick could usually take more than 8000 HP off a creature at that level, that was a testament to the glacial giant beast's defence.
Hidden Lurker, on the other hand, was stunned by Wang Yu's kick.
Level 35 players usually had around 6000 HP, only tanks could exceed 10000 HP, and squishy classes had a mere 4000 HP.
Such damage numbers meant that Wang Yu's kick could kill a player within two or even just a single kick.
Even after seeing Nian Liuyun's abilities, Hidden Lurker couldn't help but be surprised by Wang Yu's power.
"Bull God, hold the fort, we'll march on ahead.".
Hidden Lurker thought of an idea as he brought the squad up the mountain.
He knew that the creatures could not hold up Wang Yu, it could only delay him. But every single second counted.
"F*ck!".
Wang Yu uttered upon hearing such cowardly words from Hidden Lurker. Just at that moment, he realised that two bandits had gone missing from his squad.
"Oh?" Wang Yu looked around, only to see that another four creatures were rushing towards him as they howled.
"I've been trapped!".
Wang Yu realised upon seeing the situation.
He was gullible enough to have let his guard down when he knew that Hidden Lurker didn't harbour any good intentions.

These creatures were lured over by Hidden Lurker's men.
Bandits' stealth was easily discovered by, all they needed to do was make some sort of noise.
Creatures had initially aggro and damage aggro, the bandits merely triggered the initial aggro, the rest were put onto Wang Yu after that kick.
Even though Wang Yu and Hidden Lurker's squad were walking together, no one else attacked the creatures except Wang Yu, so all the aggro was directed at him.
The first two beasts had not been killed either, now, there were seven of them in total that surrounded Wang Yu.
"Brother Bull he…" Nian Liuyun said as he saw Wang Yu getting surrounded seemingly randomly. He was just about to help before Hidden Lurker stopped him and said, "We should finish the quest first.".
"But…" Nian Liuyun wanted to say something, but Hidden Lurker cut him short and said, "Bull God is undefeatable, these creatures aren't his match, we just have to take care of ourselves.".
"Alright," Nian Liuyun nodded as he followed Hidden Lurker up to where the Sacred Snow Lotus was.
The squad was now extremely near the top of the mountain. Before long, Hidden Lurker and his team had arrived at the spawning location of the Sacred Snow Lotus.
Amidst the snow-covered rocks and crevices were two white Lotus flowers rustling in the wind. Their appearances were ordinary. Hidden Lurker felt a sense of relief upon seeing that there were only two petals- thankfully he pulled those tricks on Wang Yu below, otherwise, two petals were not enough for the three parties here.
"Take the flower!" Hidden Lurker urged Nian Liuyun.
"Alright!" Nian Liuyun went over and bent down and was just about to grab it. Before he could, a long pole stood between him and the flowers.

Kill the Harem
I was never a person who struggled with anything. Whatever I wanted to achieve, I achieved, except for finding a good reason for living. That was until I died. Perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was some particularly sick god. I woke up in a world full of magic and encountered all these women who became romantically obsessed with me. It bears an uncanny resemblance to those garbage isekai series that I had the misfortune of reading in high school. The problem is, I loathe isekai. It got to the point where ever time I read about a busty elf-girl wanting to follow the protagonist, I wanted to throw something. It's illogical and it ruins the flow of the story. But now, I'm the one getting harassed by such illogical people? What complete and utter drivel. If any obsessive crazy person tries to make me theirs without even caring about my opinion, I'll f*cking kill them! I'll kill them all! I'm getting back home no matter what. My favorite manga hasn't finished yet and I want to read it to the end. Q&A Section Q: Is the protagonist mentally healthy? A: No, not even close. Q: Are all the female characters stupid? A: Barring extenuating circumstances, nobody rational would fall for a guy like the protagonist, so there's a bit of selection bias going on here. Q: Is this about a Gary Stu killing a bunch of irrational harem characters in a cliche isekai world? A: Go reread the title and the synopsis. Q: Do the women die because they won't sleep with the protagonist? A: No. I'm not sure where anyone got that from since it's entirely the opposite of what happens.
