《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 598. The Drop Rate of a Large Scale Hidden Dungeon

The Atlanta City was as big as a normal main city with a city wall about 20 metres tall and had similar guards arrangements as normal main cities. There was an Atlanta Magical Rifle Guard every few steps.
The rifles were fire gun and had barrels two metre long. At its end, there was a large eye-catching magical crystal hung there.
Magical Rifle Guards were like the guards at the entrance with no soul in their eyes. Both were puppet monsters.
Puppet monsters had low intelligence but had two times the attribute of other monsters of the same level. Its double-defence was also scary. However, Wang Yu was not in the mood to deal with these stupid guys.
If these monsters were easy to deal with, Wang Yu would not be afraid of alerting the other surrounding guards. He would have shot them there and then.
There were guards at both the entrance and on the wall. Wang Yu could not randomly pick a spot to jump over and hence, walked along the city wall to the side.
In the monitoring team, 9527 and the rest saw how Wang Yu did not enter the city but instead, walked around it. They puzzledly question, “What is this dude doing? Admiring the scenery?”
“I think he is looking for a backdoor.” Little Zhang mentioned.
The backdoor is a hidden entrance and exit which every main city had. Other than Elf City and Titan City which did not even have walls, the majority of main cities’ backdoor would be the entrance of the main city’s draining pipeline.
“Does this location have a backdoor?”
“This main city has already drowned. Do you think water piping still exists?”
“Hehe, then let me see how he can get in.”
The monitoring team was discussing Wang Yu’s intentions when they saw his walk along the city wall and arrived at a corner where he stopped.

Just then, 9527 suddenly yelled, “I know, he wants to jump across the wall!”
The archery towers at the four corners of a main city were the city guards’ blind spots. Even Spring Halo knew this fact so the game’s staff definitely knew too. Once Wang Yu stood at the corner, 9527 knew his intentions.
Once 9527 finished speaking, Wang Yu stepped on the wall, took a few steps, and reached the top of the wall. His actions were so clean cut that it was obvious he did this frequently.
“Hmm…” 9527 took a deep breath and thought, “He can fly, furthermore so easily. What does this lad do in real life?”
“Erm…” Everyone paused for a moment then said, “This is not our concern, focus here.”
Wang Yu looked around from the top of the wall and saw that Fearless and the rest did not come along which was the right thing to do.
At that time, Atlanta City’s entrance guards had become puppet monsters. Even the NPC commoners on the streets looked solemn and their actions were stiff.
The monsters in > were all extremely realistic. Even the regular daily NPCs were realistically alive and moving. Naturally, the Atlanta City’s commoners were puppets who looked real.
How sinful… Although these NPC were created by sets of data and their background stories were fabricated, Wang Yu was after all a god-tier person in this world. Even so, he was quite afraid to do something like this.
Luckily Wang Yu came alone, or else with thousands of main city NPCs, not including BOSS monsters, it would take a huge guild with at least hundreds of people to defeat them. With Wang Yu alone, it was more convenient that he could jump and run about. With the rest, they would probably be more trouble than help.

As there was still a limit as to what Wang Yu could see, he jumped down.
“Invader…”
Wang Yu just landed and he heard a robotic voice. Soon after, a female NPC stiffly dashed towards him.
Teacher Anne (LV20) (Puppet) (Commoner)
HP: 5000
MP:5000
Skills: None
Monster Introduction: A sinner, once a teacher.
“How pitiful…” Seeing the monster introduction, Wang Yu sighed with sympathy. He reached out, grabbed Teacher Anne’s neck, then used strength to throw her against the wall.
-2534
-3774
Teacher Anne was killed on the spot. Just as Wang Yu wanted to touch the corpse, there was a sudden loud bang. The Teacher Anne which was killed by Wang Yu just now exploded into shattered pieces and several pieces of papers fell to the ground.
“Is there anything odd about the data?” Looking at how Wang Yu instantly killed Teacher Anne, 9527 turned to ask Little Zhang. Although Teacher Anne was just a level 20 monster, she had 5000 HP. It would not be odd if she was killed by a Magician, but it was definitely weird that she was killed by a Pugilist.
“[Neck Twist] completion rate is 320%. A [Savage Maul] caused severe injury. The data is normal.” Little Zhang informed 9527 of the report.
“Completion rate of 320%?” 9527 was stunned, “This is possible? Could his real-life occupation be…” as he spoke, 9527 motioned around his neck.
Well, Wang Yu’s identity has changed from a petty thief to a murderer.
“F*ck, Chief Hao, are you an investigator? Why are you so concerned about his real identity. Focus, focus!” Everyone else gently reminded.
…
“Wow, it can even explode!”
Seeing how Teacher Anne’s corpse was not in one piece, Wang Yu was afraid, thinking that this monster was treacherous. Luckily, he was soft-hearted, and decided to throw her out to kill her. If not, he would have exploded as well.
Wang Yu stepped forward and picked up Teacher Anne’s belongings.
Intermediate Language Book: Rare item, daily life skill. After learning the skill, the player will understand a language. For all occupations.
“What is this item for?” Wang Yu showed the Intermediate Language Book’s attributes on his guild chat.
“Wow, this is some good thing. You only left for a few minutes and have already killed a BOSS?”
Quan Zhen Sect shockingly asked after seeing what Wang Yu sent.
Elementary daily skills could be learnt anywhere, but intermediate ones could only be learnt through accumulation. The other way to progress faster was to manufacture the daily skills book. The drop rate for such daily skill books was so pathetic. If they had the time to manufacture such skill books, players would rather accumulate experience.
Wang Yu was able to attain such a rare language skill book so easily and yet everyone thought he killed a BOSS for it.
“No, it was from killing a low-level monster. I think it was a teacher.” Wang Yu said calmly.
“What?! Where are you? We are going over now!”
Hearing what Wang Yu said, everyone was thrilled. The drop rate of a hidden dungeon was out of their imagination. Wang Yu randomly killed a teacher and got a language skill book. If they skilled some blacksmiths, won’t they get some unformidable weapon? If they massacred all the commoner NPCs in the city, everyone would leave undefeatable.
“You guys won’t be able to enter.” Wang Yu ended all their excitement, “The city walls here are filled with guards. I jumped in from the archery tower. There is no way you guys can barge in.”

My class [Death Knight] is just barely legal...
Ever since meeting his uncle, Arthur has pushed himself daily to achieve an arbitrary goal. He trained like nobody else did, longer than anybody else could. He neglected his personal relationships to pursue something he didn't even understand, in hindsight. When the time came for his class awakening ritual, he was ready. He was ready to receive a powerful starting class and to break free from his boring lifestyle. Well, you know what they say, "Be careful what you wish for, lest your wish be granted." Arthur was assigned the death knight class, which is just barely, technically, maybe legal. With it, he learns about what drove him to such simple minded ambition in the first place: his affinity. Now, he's faced with a dilemma: will he embrace it, or reject it? 'My class [Death Knight] is just barely legal' is a laid back story with occasional tension, that describes Arthur, a young man, exploring the world, the system and his own mental health as he pursues his ambitions. This story is the first serious fiction I ever wrote, so while criticism is definitely welcomed, keep it polite. I'm going to rewrite the first few chapters at some point, since they're not as good as my later ones, but I'm focusing on my current chapters first. I don't have time to do both yet, since I'm also in the middle of my exams. What to expect from this story: -Litrpg elements -A chaotic good aligned protagonist (that starts off as a neutral good protagonist) -(Hopefully) interesting characters. What not to expect from this story: -Grimdark elements -Harem -An enslaved protagonist. (I mention this due to the background of the mc's class) Release schedule: 1 chapter every other day, 2pm European time (14:00) Join the discord here: https://discord.gg/YHZFB4HMHD
