《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 666. Wretched Game Designer

In reality, people usually look at the crotch region to distinguish between male and female. This was a common habit of many people.
As a game that simulated reality, the monsters in > were all extremely real. Even though the Dusk Magic Ape was not human, it was still a primate. It just seemed a little indecent to differentiate the gender through appearance.
Therefore, everyone looked at the Dusk Magic Ape’s crotch and it was empty…
Looking at this scene, Ming Du couldn’t help but exclaim, “F*ck! This game designer is too despicable!”
Everyone exchanged glances as they thought to themselves: the game designers would be truly despicable if they differentiated the gender through the appearance.
“Fearless, what should we do?” Everyone asked Fearless.
Fearless furrowed his brows and said, “Strip Little Meng and throw her over? I’ve heard that a monkey’s taste is similar to humans. The one that pounced on her must be a male…”
“F*ck!” Ling Longmeng raged, “I think we should strip you and throw you over.”
“But I’m not a woman.” Fearless waved his hand.
Ling Longmeng replied, “It’s okay, there are the female monkeys.”
“Oh…” Everyone thought about it as they turned to look at Fearless… Animals like monkeys are never reserved when it comes to expressing their nature. If Fearless was right, throwing Fearless over would result in the same outcome.
Even though Fearless was crafty and had a lot of tricks up his sleeves, Ling Longmeng was a frenzied and ridiculous woman. Everyone would rather offend Fearless than her.
“F*ck! What are you guys thinking?” Fearless panicked as he asked.
“Hehe!” Vainglory and Ming Du rolled up their sleeves and walked forward. Fearless’ face turned pale as he pointed at the two of them. “Take one more step forward and I will die in front of you.”

“Alright, stop fooling around!” When Spring Halo saw that these two small b*stards were about to strip Fearless’ shirt, he hurried to sound out.
“Wow, Brother Spring wants to volunteer?” Ming Du chuckled as he asked.
Spring Halo replied, “No need for so much trouble. Don’t we have fruits? Just throw some fruits will do.”
“Throw fruits?” Everyone was stunned. “Why? Don’t all monkeys love to eat fruits?”
If one of the genders doesn’t like to eat fruits, throwing fruits would still make sense. If it was a common appetite for fruits, what was the point of throwing the fruits over?
“Hehe!” Spring Halo laughed and everyone started having goosebumps.
Following that, Spring Halo said, “I feel that monkeys that like peaches are male and the ones that like bananas are females…”
“???”
“…”
“What the f*ck!!!”
With a frenzied woman like Ling Longmeng around, the guys from the Quan Zhen Sect understood very quickly…
After Spring Halo said this, everyone was first shocked then speechless before breaking down. They all thought that this pervert had some sort of deeper understanding of animals but who knew that all he had were perverted thoughts!
Seeing everyone’s reaction, Yang Nuo asked Ling Longmeng innocently, “What does he mean? Male and female monkeys really have different tastes for fruits?”
“Ahem…” Ling Longmeng coughed as she whispered the explanation to Yang Nuo. Yang Nuo’s face turned slightly red before glaring at Spring Halo.
Spring Halo was still extremely proud of his own idea as he said, “How? My idea is unique right? We can take them down without harming any one of us.”
“Scram! You pervert!” Everyone pointed their middle fingers together.
“Tsk! Fearless, you b*stard! I’m helping you and you still scold me?” Spring Halo said unhappily.
“Your head! You are basically an old trash!” Fearless scolded, “This is a serious matter, can you not be so wretched?”

Even though the Quan Zhen Sect were always fooling around, they were serious when it came down to things that mattered. Being wretched at this moment seemed a little inappropriate.
“Wretched? The system sets up this stage so there must be a way to solve it. Did you forget what the fruit seller said?” Spring Halo said with a serious face.
“This…” Now that Spring Halo reminded them, everyone recalled what the fruits stall’s Boss said.
“Do you want some peaches or bananas? The Dusk Magic Ape loves it.”
At the thought of this, everyone started believing Spring Halo’s words.
After playing the game for so long, the S-grade quests that everyone did were like brain twisters which couldn’t be solved using logical thinking. This was why it was dubbed as the impossible quest. Even though this was the case, S-grade quests had their breakthroughs too. As long as one could think quick and flexible, it wouldn’t be hard to find the breakthrough.
Every top player would be aware that throughout an S-grade quest, every sentence said by an NPC could be a breakthrough. Since the fruits stall’s Boss said this unintentionally, this must be somehow related to the quest.
The fruit seller’s words were simple. The Dusk Magic Ape loved two types of fruits namely the peaches and bananas. Following this train of thought, Spring Halo seemed to be right.
In order to differentiate the gender, it had to be related to the peaches and bananas. However, everyone was simply unable to accept such a wretched way of differentiating.
“Do you really think the game designers are as wretched as you?” Fearless commented.
“Oh? Are you saying that the game designers are not wretched enough?” Spring Halo argued.
“This…” Fearless was once again speechless. To be honest, Fearless had never seen more shameless game designers than the ones in > even after all the other games that he played. The word ‘wretched’ was definitely invented for them.
“Why don’t we give it a try?” Fearless asked the rest.
“Let’s just try, unless you can think of an even more wretched way?” Everyone agreed to Fearless’ suggestion.
There was no other choice. Spring Halo’s despicable argument actually convinced the Quan Zhen Sect… It was no wonder people say birds of a feather flock together. If it was any other group of players, they would have killed Spring Halo for coming up with such a shameless suggestion. Why would they ever agree to his suggestion?
Seeing that everyone agreed, Fearless extended his arm to take a peach and a banana. He threw them towards the Dusk Magic Apes.
When the Dusk Magic Apes saw the bananas and peaches, they rushed to it while pushing each other away.
After a short while, the system sent a notification.
You’ve fed Dusk Magic Ape, Linda, a specialty banana. Linda’s loyalty +30….>
Kerim, Linda… One could tell their gender from their names.
“F*ck me! This is really the way to differentiate!!” When Fearless saw the notification, his jaw dropped. There was indeed no limit to how wretched the game designers could be.
“See? Aren’t you convinced now?” a prideful Spring Halo said.
Everyone looked at each other in disbelief. They simply couldn’t believe Spring Halo got it right.
“Everyone, spread out to catch them!” In order to save time and not mix the monkeys up again, Fearless handed everyone a peach to throw at the crowd of apes.
When the monster’s loyalty went beyond 70, they would follow the players. Very soon, a bunch of hungry monkeys was running behind the Quan Zhen Sect…

Note from author (13.09.20): Sentences have been shortened, less commata used. Paragraphs have been split up. Meant to be "realistic" fantasy, with no overpowered protagonist or evil sorcerer trying to destroy the world. The focus lies on the characters, their progressions and their inner conflicts, coupled with an intricate magic system. Constructive criticism is highly appreciated!
