In the first round, Fearless and Open Fire were both wiped out at the same time and both teams were awarded two points each. In the second round, both players did nothing and were awarded with 0 points each.

In the history of the entire competition, the above scenarios have happened before. However, for both scenarios to occur within the same round was still a first in the entire history.

Both A Murder of Crows and Team Raptors had been blacklisted by the audience…

“Eh? It ended so soon?” Ming Du asked, having been teleported out of the battleground.

The crowd that wanted so badly to throw sh*t at Ming Du angrily shouted, “The rest of us here would have died out of boredom if you had slept the entire night!”

Ming Du pointed a middle finger at the enrage audience and said smugly, “He he! You guys know sh*t, this is called battle strategy! It’s called winning without having to do anything.”

After Ming Du and the other player was sent out of the battleground, Spring Halo and Gone With The Wind were teleported into it.

Both of the players did not expect the previous two battles to end in a draw.

After observing both players on the battlefield, Fearless frowned and said, “The enemy has learnt of our strategy and will not fight us head-on. In a map like this, it would be unfavorable for Spring Halo.”

In comparison with Gone With The Wind, Spring Halo as a Shaman was lacking in many aspects. In terms of the range of his attacks, movement speed and damage output, he was way inferior compared to Gone With The Wind who was an Archer. As a cloth armoured job class, his maximum HP was also approximately the same as Gone With The Wind, who was of a leather armoured job class.

Apart from the suppression in attributes, now that the battleground was in Jungle Land, it was even more unfavorable for Spring Halo who did not have any click-based abilities. Non-click based abilities required a higher range of vision on the target itself. If Gone With The Wind decided to kite him, Spring Halo would be left helpless.

Gone With The Wind was a rational man and only concerned himself with doing whatever it takes to win the battle. As expected, the moment he appeared in front of Spring Halo, he immediately turned tail and ran, pulling apart the distance between himself and Spring Halo.

When an Archer reaches LVL 40, he would be able to learn [Arrow Mastery], which would increase an Archer’s attack range by 20 metres. Furthermore, Gone With The Wind was an Archer expert. Naturally, he would have items or abilities to help increase the range of his attacks.

When he was about 30 metres away from Spring Halo, he finally stopped and hid behind a nearby tree, having found the ideal location for him to launch his attacks.

Spring Halo’s base attack range was 8 metres. After reaching LVL 40, the range was increased to 12 metres. The difference in both players’ attack range was like heaven and earth.

Furthermore, Spring Halo did not know any teleportation abilities. Currently, he had turned into a live target for Gone With The Wind.

Gone With The Wind released three consecutive arrows in the form of a triangle towards Spring Halo.

Fearless answered, “Due to a suppression in job classes. Brother Spring knows full well that he stands no chance in a full out confrontation, thus there is no need for him to waste any effort on casting his abilities.”

“No chance? Why does he stand no chance? That brat can’t even land a shot on him either?” Ming Du asked, confused.

“Haha! You overlooked the issue of vision!” Fearless said, laughing.

“Vision?” After Ming Du heard what Fearless said, he hurriedly shifted his gaze on to the battleground… only to see Gone With The Wind changing his angle of attack after firing off a few more arrows.

After seeing this scene, Ming Du finally understood what Fearless had said…

In a dark map such as this, apart from the fact that Spring Halo had no vision of Gone With The Wind as he was hiding behind a tree, even if the both of them were directly face to face, Spring Halo still could not visually grasp the exact location of Gone With The Wind.

However, it was different for Gone With The Wind. As an Archer, his vision was far superior to other job classes’. He could clearly pinpoint the current location of Spring Halo and any movement by Spring Halo would not go unnoticed by Gone With The Wind.

If the situation did not change, it was only a matter of time before Gone With The Wind lands his attack on Spring Halo.

“Hehe, the enemy Shaman has no ability to retaliate at all. Seems like little Wind will definitely win this battle.”

After witnessing Spring Halo still attempting to dodge after Gone With The Wind changed his angle of attack, Powerful and Free was elated by Spring Halo’s helplessness.

The other players from Team Raptors were all excited as well. They could finally win satisfyingly in the third battle.

The audience in the arena was even more grateful. Even though the battle was relatively boring, it was still better than watching both of the players doing nothing the entire match. At the very least, they would not have to wait for the full 40 minutes duration to be over.

However, things weren’t as simple as they thought…

A bow was different from a gun or rifle. With a distance of 30 metres, the travel time for the arrow to reach its target could not be neglected.

In order to adjust his angle of attack, Gone With The Wind had to move a large distance around Spring Halo.

With his staff in his right hand and a book in his left, Spring Halo was leaning against the tree with both his eyes closed. Seemingly as if he could see Gone With The Wind’s angle of attack, every time Gone With The Wind shot an arrow, Spring Halo would calmly shift to his next position. Every time before an arrow arrived, he would be able to shift to Gone With The Wind’s blind spot, causing him to miss his target.

“Could the Shaman be using some hack? Why is he able to dodge it every time?”

“No idea… This guy can probably determine the trajectory of the arrow.”

“Determine the trajectory? Stop bullsh*ting. He did not even look at the arrows, how can he possibly determine its trajectory?” If the arrow was within vision, determining its trajectory was relatively easy. However, Spring Halo had his back against the tree and had both of his eyes closed…

Furthermore, Gone With The Wind was out of Spring Hal’s sight. If he were to rely on shifting his position based on visually looking at the trajectory of the arrow, he would have died on the spot.
