《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 848. Grandmaster Liar

Upon seeing the players quickly ran down the alleyway in search of him, Wang Yu heaved a sigh of relief and sent a message to Fearless, “Wow, they really did as you predicted.”
“Of course!” Fearless replied confidently, “Now you can go down and kill Martial Yin Yang!”
“En.”
Wang Yu closed the chat and leaped down from the house.
Fearless had already anticipated all these in advance. He left specific instructions for Wang Yu not to be in a hurry to run but wait for the opportune time to confront Martial Yin Yang.
Fearless was so confident in his assessment of the situation because he knew Martial Yin Yang main goal was to retrieve the equipment. As long as the equipment was in Wang Yu’s hands, nobody else mattered. The other players of Quan Zhen Sect were restrained to prevent them from creating more trouble.
There was no doubt that a large guild like Divine Martial Guild was not short on manpower. Fighting them on the basis of numbers was going to be a fruitless endeavor. Even if you killed hundreds of their players, they would not even flinch. Whereas all it took was for them to kill ten over members of Quan Zhen Sect to cause massive damage.
Therefore, it was not a good idea to confront Martial Yin Yang head-on. Every killing made on the side of Quan Zhen Sect must be effective.
What did it mean to be an effective kill? It means the easiest way to inflict real and substantial damage on Divine Martial Guild was to kill their leader first and foremost, Martial Yin Yang himself.
Divine Martial Guild had more than a dozen core members but the Quan Zhen Sect only recognised Martial Yin Yang… As their Guild leader, he had the most say in matters pertaining to the guild. Killing him would generate the most amount of chaos.
There was no need to ruffle the feathers of the entire Divine Martial Guild, as long as he could scare Martial Yin Yang off, Quan Zhen Sect would have accomplished their goal.

As all the men rushed in all directions to find Wang Yu, a figure emerged from the shadows. With a loud shout, “Where are you monster running to!” This figure descended from the sky.
This man was burly and held a long stick in one hand. This was none other than Wang Yu.
Without even waiting for Martial Yin Yang to react, Divine Soldier stood forward to confront the oncoming Wang Yu and whipped out his blade.
Divine Soldier had deceived Wang Yu and led the whole Quan Zhen Sect into this ambush. This was a grudge that Wang Yu had already long wanted to settle with him. With Divine Soldier taking the initiative to send himself to Wang Yu, Wang Yu could only accept his request to die.
Wang Yu lashed a kick in the air and the stick in his hands furiously slammed forward passing through the gap of Divine Soldier’s defences. It awkwardly poked into Divine Soldier’s nose…
“Aiya f*ck this…”
As his nose took a direct hit by Wang Yu assault, Divine Soldier let out a tragic cry. His eyes closed involuntarily and a few tears dripped at the corner of his eye.
At this moment, Wang Yu quickly swapped the long stick back into his boxing glove and leaped in front of Divine Soldier. With his right hand, he rammed a finger into the nostrils of Divine Soldier.
The instance Wang Yu landed, Divine Soldier immediately pulled his head away from Wang Yu. However, Wang Yu’s left hand wrapped around his throat dangerously.
Divine Soldier was a Power-Type Weapons Master; his HP was not that high to begin with. After getting smashed three times consecutively, he died and dissipated into white light.
However, even if Divine Soldier had a small HP pool, he was still a warrior in his own right. Wang Yu only took three seconds from the moment he reached the ground to kill him. Martial Yin Yang was momentarily shocked by the display of skill.
This look of surprise was only fleeting. Wang Yu was busy wiping the blood off his hands on the wall. Martial Yin Yang teased, “Young man, you are not bad, daring to kill someone right in front of my face!”

Wang Yu replied sarcastically, “You are also not bad yourself, not running after seeing that sight.”
“Hmph! Young man, don’t be so presumptuous!” Martial Yin Yang growled, “That little bit of ability is not enough to show off in front of me.”
Martial Yin Yang continued, “In the end, you are just a common player. What can you possibly know about martial arts? I advise you to give up the equipment right now.”
“Is it?” Wang Yu gave an innocent look at Martial Yin Yang and could not help himself and inquired, “I heard you could beat a whole regiment single-handedly?”
“Hehe, since you know what I am capable of, why not you hurry and surrender?” Martial Yin Yang coldly smirked.
“I don’t believe it at all!” Wang Yu waved his finger in disbelief and replied, “We don’t even have to talk about a regiment of the army, I think you can’t even beat a police dog!”
Wang Yu’s words were not baseless. Before he encountered Martial Yin Yang, Wang Yu still maintained a cautious attitude in determining Martial Yin Yang’s true strength. But after seeing the man, Wang Yu could more or less determine Martial Yin Yang’s rumoured strength was all a lie.
Martial artists and soldiers were similar in the way that their occupation required them to kill others. Therefore, these people would have to undergo extremely brutal training. Whether it was in the aspect of strength or reflexes, these group of people were a class above ordinary players.
The way Martial Yin Yang walked was so unlike that of most martial artists. Martial artists usually had a cool stable poise when they walked. Martial Yin Yang was clearly a fraud when one scrutinised his way of walking.
“Bullsh*t!”
Martial Yin Yang heard Wang Yu accusatory words and his face darkened. His arms stretched out into a battle stance as he growled, “Today, I will show you what is called Kung Fu!”
Seeing Martial Yin Yang’s battle stance, Wang Yu chuckled to himself, “What kind of Kung Fu is this!”
“Taiji!” Martial Yin Yang replied solemnly.
“Don’t insult Taiji!”
Wang Yu dashed forward and grabbed one arm of Martial Yin Yang. Next, he stretched out his right foot placed it beside Martial Yin Yang’s heel. With one swift motion, Martial Yin Yang was thrown to the ground in a heap.
Once an expert made a move, he would definitely gauge the skill level of the opposing side. Martial Yin Yang dared to posture in front of a true martial arts expert like Wang Yu. Luckily this was not Yang Nuo he was facing or he would have died multiple times already.
It was important to note that women had a more fiery temper compared to men when they were riled up.
Martial Yin Yang’s true skill was clearly lacking but being the Guild Leader of a professional team, he probably had a few capable underlings.
After being overturned by Wang Yu, Martial Yin Yang floated gently backwards in retreat. He quickly moved out of Wang Yu’s attack range.
[Wind Haste]! This was one of a Qigong Master’s movement skills. Although it was not as fast as those of boxing, it was an essential skill for Qigong Masters.
Martial Yin Yang was still trying to put up the facade even after getting utterly humiliated by Wang Yu. He said, “Young man, you have already been struck by my internal strength. You better get offline and see a doctor.”
“…”
In the face of such a ridiculous fraud, Wang Yu was completely speechless. He simply took a step forward and block the door.
Seeing that Wang Yu displayed no intention of leaving, Martial Yin Yang once again got into his battle posture.

There is nothing that exists without purpose, and nothing without purpose that can exist.
