《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 974. Willingly Baited

“Watch Quan Zhen Sect’s downfall?” Shade Glow gave a cold laugh, “Why do I feel that we are the fallen ones?”
“Skills not on par, I guess. Is this my fault?” the boss replied lukewarmly.
Shady Glow was upset hearing that and said, “Hmph, aren’t you afraid we will quit now?”
“Of course I’m not afraid!” The boss said, “Other than your subordinates, who else here do you think will listen to you?”
“You!” Shady Glow was instantly speechless.
This boss was right, although everyone’s aim was the same, they had different intentions. With one less person, they would have to split the rewards with one less person and cared about one less person’s opinion. Hence, if it was not that the opponent was too strong, no one would have bothered about to cooperate with others.
“Furthermore, there is no lack of risk-taking attitude in the game. Do you think I can buy the information only from you guys?” After speaking, Shady Glow saw how their temporary chat group had hundreds of notifications. All of them were notifications of new people added.
Shady Glow was dumbfounded.
Indeed, there was no shortage of fighters.
Shady Glow knew that only team leaders could be added into this temporary chat group. Based on an average of ten people per team, this notification board had thousands of fighters.
With thousands of fighters here, Shady Glow’s team of ten people was definitely disposable.
These guild leaders were not all idiots. They knew that many people used notification boards to hire killers. Although they became others’ puppets, they were rewarded so there was nothing wrong with everyone helping one another.
Since this happened, Shady Glow had nothing left to say. As the number of people increased, based on Shady Glow’s intelligence, it was not difficult for him to decide between leaving and continuing to fight on with them.

It was an even easier decision for the rest. When it came to teams, everyone naturally sided the victorious.
After adding all the team leaders into the chat group, the coordinates of Quan Zhen Sect’s players were published on the notification board. It was even free for all to view.
After seeing the coordinates, all the players in Thorn City quickly gathered at the resurrection location.
At the same time, Quan Zhen Sect and Team Red Flame’s players were added into a team chat group by Fearless.
Just then, Ming Du said in the team chat group, “Fearless, I have found out that these people are buying the information on their own accord. There is no mastermind behind them. You’ve thought too much.”
“Hehe!” Fearless gave a faint chuckle and said, “Then do you know who are they buying the information from?”
“Nope…” Ming Du shook his head.
Fearless said, “That person is selling our information and yet has not exposed himself. Isn’t it odd?”
“You mean the person selling the information is the mastermind?” Fearless’ words were so clear so everyone finally understood him.
“Yes! And this person knows us very well. He should be a long-time opponent of ours,” Fearless continued.
“Long-time opponent… Who could it be?” Everyone continued to be puzzled.
Quan Zhen Sect have committed too many sins so when it came to long-time opponents, they had countless of them.
“Could it be Nine Solitary Spears?” Vainglory said after giving it some thought.
It seemed like the only old opponent Quan Zhen Sect had that was still alive was Apocalypse.
“Hmph!” Fearless coldly snarled, “Although B*stard Spears is despicable, he won’t use such an underhanded method.”
This was true. Apocalypse was a well-known large guild so they did not have to use such indirect methods to challenge Quan Zhen Sect.

First posting a photo of their opponent on the forum then used others to kill for them in the name of selling information. It was rare to have someone so cowardly and stingy.
Wang Yu thought for a while and whispered, “Could it be Hidden Lurker?”
Wang Yu had seen many of Quan Zhen Sect’s old opponents. In terms of battle tactic, Wang Yu had never seen anyone more despicable than Fearless but Hidden Lurker’s underhand method left a strong impression on Wang Yu. He was well-versed in sowing discord, coming very close to Fearless in terms of being a shameless means.
“Yes, Old Bull is right!” Hearing what Wang Yu said, everyone nodded and agreed with him.
Based on his actions, other than Hidden Lurker, there was no one else who could be so despicable.
“Wasn’t that *sshole blocked by Thunderstorm City’s players until he gave up?” Vainglory was surprised to hear that their opponent was Hidden Lurker.
“Little Chick, don’t tell anyone you belong with us…” After everyone heard him, they began personally attacking him.
“Hey, hey, hey! Mean!” Vainglory got angry, “Am I wrong?”
Spring Halo smiled and said, “Dear child, how much animosity do you think Thunderstorm City has with Hidden Lurker?”
“I…” Vainglory heard him and instantly kept quiet.
In online games, there was no such thing as enemies for no reason. Other than those opposing large guild, very few normal players had enemies that they would never talk to again.
It had been so long since Hidden Lurker was chased after and so, Thunderstorm City’s players had long forgotten who he was already… No one would waste time and energy to block a forgotten person.
Hidden Lurker had immense perseverance and would never let go of an opportunity to annoy his opponent so it was definitely him who used such a despicable tactic.
“Damn, where’s this scumbag? I want to slaughter him!” Once Ling Longmeng heard it was Hidden Lurker, her anger rose as she yelled, wanting to go after him at the expense of her own life.
However, Fearless said, “To hide his identity, this guy doesn’t even dare to show his ID. Why would he allow you to find him? Based on his usual temper… Now those lads who were killed by us should be re-organising themselves to take us on head-on. If you go now, it would be seeking death.”
“Then what should we do?” Ling Longmeng asked anxiously.
“Like just now, hide in dark spots and roam around so that they cannot find us even with coordinates,” Fearless said calmly.
“They were baited once. Will they be baited again?” Rolling Mario asked out of concern.
“There is no hook this time around, only the bait.”
“Then what do we do?” Rolling Mario also did not know what Fearless was thinking. Without a hook, what was a bait for?
Fearless laughed and said, “Go do some miscellaneous quests. Let’s bring them around Thorn City then give them a huge gift when the time is right.”
“F*ck…”
Rolling Mario was more and more confused.
“Alright, Old Mario, just listen to whatever Fearless says.” Mario was still puzzled when Mo Xiaobei butt in harshly.
“What??”
Hearing what Mo Xiaobei said, Quan Zhen Sect and Team Red Flame’s players were all extremely surprised.
“Xiaobei, what do you mean by this?” everyone asked curiously.
Mo Xiaobei laughed and said, “Nothing much, I just believe in Fearless’ tactics…” Mo Xiaobei enunciated the word ‘tactics’ very heavily.
Seeing Mo Xiaobei’s news, Fearless gave a sincere chuckle, “This lady.”

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
