《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1049. Gift From Heaven

Even though the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect were all troublemakers, under the strict security in Freedom City, they still had to obediently follow the rules here. Furthermore, everyone came here for the purpose of spending money and purchasing items, so naturally they would have to follow the rules of the auction house. Thus, the bunch of them could only obediently queue up behind Wang Yu, quietly waiting for their turn for the screening.
The two guards at the gate were still the two brothers, Bob and Bobby. The screening process was extremely simple. Simply add the both of them as friends and send a photo of your gold balance.
Such a method only allowed the player to send their own inventory’s gold balance, there was no way to fake it.
Even though it was slightly troublesome, it was very practical.
However, the moment it was Wang Yu’s turn, Bob pointed at the passageway located on the other side and respectfully said, “Great God Iron Bull, please stand over there!”
“?? Why?” Wang Yu was momentarily stunned.
Bob hurriedly explained, “That area is for people that are exempted from the screening process. Our boss has instructed us to invite you to make your way over there the moment you arrive.”
Wang Yu finally understood what was going on. Seems like Old Nine had given out instructions to the workers at the gate beforehand to give Wang Yu special treatment.
“How about my friends?” Wang Yu pointed to the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect and asked.
Wang Yu was a loyal person, he would naturally not forget about the rest from Quan Zhen Sect.
“As for these people…” After glancing at the rest from Quan Zhen Sect, Bob’s face revealed a troubled expression. He replied in a soft tone, “Our boss didn’t give us any instructions pertaining to this matter. If it was Boss Fearless, whom we can recognise, we could still allow him to tag along with you, but we have no idea who these people are.”
“Heng!” Upon hearing Bob’s words, Ming Du expressed his dissatisfaction and slammed his staff on the ground, releasing waves of killing intent. He menacingly said, “We are all from Quan Zhen Sect.”
As Ming Du was speaking, the rest from Quan Zhen Sect had all taken out their weapons and were glaring at Bob. Even though someone like Bob and Bobby had witnessed first-hand all sorts of scenarios in the auction house, they were still scared witless!

As for the rest of the people present on the scene itself, there was even less of a need to describe how they were feeling.
“F*ck! It’s Quan Zhen Sect! Why are they even here too? This can’t be helped. Let’s go back, lest we incur their wrath…”
The moment the surrounding players heard Ming Du’s words, the expressions on their faces twisted. They frantically retreated away from the commotion.
It was best to stay away from this bunch of badly reputed players. The surrounding players weren’t afraid of the Quan Zhen Sect players creating a commotion as this was Freedom City. What they were afraid of was getting implicated into this mess and getting arrested by the guards along with the Quan Zhen Sect players by the numerous guards in the city.
It is to be noted that the attack of these 205 guards wasn’t player-targeted.
Upon seeing such a scene, Bob and Bobby frantically wiped off the sweat dripping down their forehead and meekly said, “Big… big brothers and sisters, we get it now. Please stop this commotion. You’re chasing away the rest of our customers… You may follow Great God Iron Bull…”
“That’s more like it!” Everyone kept their weapons and arrogantly sauntered their way over to where Wang Yu was.
“Tsk, tsk… The bunch from Quan Zhen Sect truly live up to their reputation. Truly a bunch of rugged bandits.” Upon seeing the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect forcefully exempting themselves from the screening, the rest of the players in the auction house couldn’t help but sigh at how arrogant the Quan Zhen Sect players were. The reputation of them being known as a group of bandits was truly deserved.
The passageway for players that were exempted from screening was naturally meant for VIPs. The seats that the passageway led to were of course the front row VIP seats. Under the arrangement of Old Nine, Wang Yu and friends were arranged to be seated at the seats with the best vantage point of the auction.
The VIP seats were vastly different from that of the single seats of the other players. The VIP seats comprised of an european-style round table, coupled along with a few sofas placed around it. Placed on the table were a few liquor bottles as well as some snacks. These seats were all arranged horizontally in three rows and were all elevated, providing the VIPs with a good viewpoint overlooking the entire auction.

Wealthy people all cared about their rank and status. Clearly, Old Nine did a good job in understanding his customers’ behaviours and needs.
Even though the players from Quan Zhen Sect had played the game for so long, it was the first time they had experienced such privileged treatment. Furthermore, for this bunch of people that loved attention, they couldn’t help but excitedly look around their surroundings, exclaiming, “Old Bull is truly capable. To think that we could be allocated to such front row seats.”
“Nonsense, nonsense.” Wang Yu faintly smiled and gave his usual humble response.
Because of the fact that selling the City Lord Seal was a rather shady thing, Wang Yu had been extremely lowkey about all of this. Being positioned at the forefront of the auction had left him rather uncomfortable. Clearly, in terms of being thick-skinned, Wang Yu had a long road ahead of him.
Just when everyone was appreciating the sights around them, a voice abruptly rang out from the table beside them, “Aiyo, the one who’s surnamed Iron, after offending me you still dare to show your face here? You even brought along a bunch of uncivilised players with you as back up?”
“???!!!”
After hearing these words, the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect were momentarily stunned.
Surnamed Iron?! Outrageous! Absolutely lawless?!
F*ck! Where did this trash come from? What arrogant words!
Everyone instantly shifted their gaze over in the direction of the voice, they wanted to see who was so capable of spouting such nonsensical words.
At this moment, what greeted them was an immaculately dressed and slim middle-aged man with a perfectly combed and bright hair, glancing over at Wang Yu. Seated at the table along with that middle-aged man was a circle of players.
Those players all had a vicious expression on them and their entire body radiated the glow that came along with Obsidian grade equipment. One look and you could tell that these players weren’t ordinary.
Upon looking at these players, the eyes of the Quan Zhen Sect players widened!
Of course, it wasn’t because they were afraid of them… For a bunch of players that were clad in a full body of Obsidian grade equipment to openly provoke and challenge them, it was equivalent to slapping a dog with a meat bun!
“Who is he?” Fearless gloomily asked Wang Yu, after recovering from his shock.
“I have no idea…” Wang Yu scratched his head and directed a question to the middle-aged man, “Who are you? Do I know you?”
“…”
This time around, it was the people at the opposite table’s turn to be left stunned. They all turned to look at the middle-aged man with the polished hair cut and simultaneously asked, “Young Master Feng, are you sure it’s him?”
Compared to the disdain shown by the enemy, the biggest humiliation one could receive was not being placed in the eyes of the opponent.
On one side, the players were all gritting their teeth in hatred, while on the other, they simply had no idea who their enemy was… This was simply intolerable.
After getting asked the same question twice, that man exploded in rage, “Bullsh*t! Even if that b*stard turned to ashes, I would still recognise him!” As he was speaking, he aggressively pointed at Wang Yu and asked, “Aren’t you called Iron Bull?”
“Yes…” Wang Yu nodded and said.
“And you don’t remember who I am?” That man once again pointed at himself and angrily said.
“I have never met you before… However, that bright and polished hairstyle of yours does look familiar. Are you perhaps called Brilliant Radiance?” Wang Yu shook his head and answered with a question instead.
“I am Brilliant… F*ck, I am Feng Yun Realm!” the man shouted, depraved.
“Oh… it’s you…” Upon hearing Feng Yun Realm’s name, Wang Yu nodded in realisation, before shifting his glance back on the stage.
It was perfectly normal for Wang Yu to not have noticed someone like Feng Yun Realm who was nothing but an arrogant show off.
Seeing Wang Yu ignoring himself, Feng Yun Realm jumped to his feet and bellowed, “Surnamed Iron, just you wait! After provoking me, I will make sure you won’t be able to leave this city in one piece!”
Seeing someone like Feng Yun Realm, who was practically a gift from heaven, so eager to seek his own death, the rest from Quan Zhen Sect couldn’t help but ask Wang Yu, “Old Bull, what did you do to that guy?”
“Nothing much.” Wang Yu coolly said, “I merely made the guards throw him off the ship when we were flying.”
“F*ck…”
Seeing Wang Yu’s look of indifference, the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect couldn’t help but break out in cold sweat.

Fate Overcharge (Stalled)
Rin Tohsaka, the young genious magus who, using the power of the holy grail, built an empire spanning the whole world, decides to use the power of the second sorcery to expand her empire to other realms and... Ehm, sorry, wrong story. Err, alright, starting again... Rin Tohsaka is the current head of the Tohsaka family and a likely master in the upcoming fifth grail war. She doesn't have a wish she wants granted, but she will fight to win. For if there is a battle to be fought, could a Tohsaka settle for any less than a complete victory? This is a fan fiction for the Fate/StayNight and an alternative rendition of the fifth grail war that introduces new characters, and shows never before seen sides of the old ones. Since this is a fan fiction, knowledge of the original works is needed to understand it. Watching stay/night or zero should be sufficient, but reading both works along with Hollow Ataraxia is recommended for not missing any details. (I won't assume the readers have read Hollow A.) - Warning: Tagged Mature(+15) mainly for violence and strong language. Nothing graphic, and still a lot milder than the original Visual Novel - Note1: I am trying to improve so constructive critisizm and random comments are welcome. Note2: Be warned! Update rate will likely be slow. How slow, I can't say. Note3: I don't consider any side works in the franchise as cannon. So if, for some reason, Nero is summoned, do not riot when he turns out to be a burly, hairy caster. (That won't happen!)
