From Salat City to Sunset Valley, there was a flatland shaped like a bow, called the Nightmare Flatland.

A geographical location like that made the land look empty and spacious, and could also be used for buffering during war.

Of course, in the age of firearms, I believe that everyone was not interested in the effectiveness of this location as a strategic war location, so I will not explain any further.

The reason why so much was said about the location was because I wanted everybody to know that outside of Salat City there was a very wide river called the City Defence River. Not too far after walking out from the city gate, there was a bridge facing the gate. This bridge was the only pathway to get to Nightmare Flatland from Salat City.

That bridge was the legendary Golden Water Bridge.

After coming out from the guild’s office, Green Devil and his men stood in a line at the start of the bridge.

As the Golden Water Bridge was not very wide, Green Devil and his men standing in line were enough to block the entire pathway completely.

In Salat City, Mystery Pavilion is the biggest guild. Hence, as the head manager of Mystery Pavilion, Green Devil is quite well-known.

Upon seeing Green Devil with his men blocking the path, no one actually tried to cross the bridge. Those who already got up the bridge even made their way back.

Salat City had multiple training grounds, so they did not have to offend Mystery Pavilion for such a trivial matter.

It must be acknowledged that this method was really useful, because, with Mystery Pavilion’s men here, it completely separated Twilight City and Salat City.

The players from Thousand Waves Palace could not leave even if they wanted to.

It was not a small matter to block the city gate, and combined with the fast spreading of news in the game, the entire Salat City knew about it. Even Wang Yu had received a notification from Shroom Devil King.

“Where are you, Brother Bull?”

Wang Yu saw the message and replied after looking at his surroundings, “I can see your main city’s gate.”

Very soon, Shroom Devil King replied, “Okay, you can turn back now.”

“WTF?”

After seeing Shroom Mushroom King’s reply, Wang Yu’s head was full of questions.

“Why?” Wang Yu was not very happy.

F*ck, I’ve already reached the city gate and now you want me to turn back. Is he fooling with me?

Though Wang Yu was generous and giving, he could not tolerate getting played around like this.

“This…” Shroom Devil King said with caution, “Mystery Pavilion is blocking the entrance to the city. I’m afraid that they will give you trouble. You should head back.”

Actually, if the players die, they only lose a bit of experience and it was not a huge loss. The reason why Shroom Devil King wanted Wang Yu to head back was because he had the Black Decree which was a dropping equipment. It was still okay if Wang Yu died, but if the Black Decree landed in the hands of the Mystery Pavilion, it would be a huge loss for them.

However, after hearing what Shroom Devil King said, Wang Yu smiled, “Oh… I thought there was something serious happening. Send me your location, I’ll be there in a while.”

“Eh?” After looking at the message, Shroom Devil King’s eyes went blank and said immediately, “Brother, don’t tell me you’re going to barge in?”

“What’s wrong with that?” Wang Yu asked.

“Those… those people are from Mystery Pavilion.” Shroom Devil King reminded Wang Yu again.

“Oh… So what?” Wang Yu still had the calm tone while he spoke.

“So what?” Shroom Devil King’s heart skipped a beat and continued asking, “Don’t tell me you have not heard of Mystery Pavilion.””No…” Wang Yu was being honest.

Mystery Pavilion was not any famous guild, and since Wang Yu was a gaming newbie, he would not have heard about them.

“F*ck!” after looking at Wang Yu’s reply, Shroom Devil King was devastated but continued nonetheless, “Aiya, I shall not explain further. Anyway, you should not advance forward anymore. I will send someone to Twilight City.”

“Quit your nonsense and just give me your location!” Wang Yu ignored whatever Shroom Devil King said and ordered.

Luckily, Wang Yu was a person that delivered what he promised. If there was no promise made, Wang Yu would not have bothered about Shroom Devil King anymore.

Wang Yu only had one thought now, which was to return the Black Decree, leave and then never get in contact again.

“Uh,” Shroom Devil King was shocked by the sudden rage and replied, “I am at the resurrection point!”

“Wait there!”

After replying, Wang Yu closed the chat and continued going towards Salat City. After walking for a while, he saw Golden Water Bridge and the people there.

Salat City had players training at Nightmare Flatland too, but after hearing about Green Devil’s presence there, all of them did not dare to go close.

However, Wang Yu still went ahead.

After seeing someone still going ahead, all the players at the start of the bridge said shockingly, “Aiya, who is this fella? Doesn’t he know that Mystery Pavilion is blocking the way?”

“Not sure… Judging by his look, he should be an amateur.”

“Psh… Young people.”

At this moment, Green Devil and his men saw Wang Yu too. Though the distance between them was too far to recognise Wang Yu, he caught Green Devil’s attention because he was the only one who dared to approach.

Hence, Green Devil shouted at Wang Yu, “Hey, hey, hey, you. Don’t you know that this path is blocked? Scram!”

Wang Yu ignored Green Devil and continued walking forward.

“Hey, trying to be different, huh? Don’t you know how to listen?”

After sensing that Wang Yu did not get his words, Green Devil could not hold himself back anymore and whipped out his weapon and walked towards Wang Yu.

After walking for a few steps, Green Devil could see Wang Yu’s appearance clearly.

“It’s you?”

After looking at Wang Yu, Green Devil was shocked at first, then it turned into a grin.

What did “To travel far and wide looking for something only to find it easily” mean? This was it.

No matter how hard Mystery Pavilion tried, they would not dare to go across to Twilight City’s territory. Hence, the only reason why they were blocking the path here was to prevent Thousand Waves Palace players from going over to get the Black Decree from Twilight City.

Who would expect Wang Yu to come himself? This was an unexpected reward.

Of course, Green Devil had seen what Wang Yu could do, and knew that he would not be able to handle him by himself. After his pleasant surprise, he went back into the formation with the rest of the Mystery Pavilion players and shouted while pointing to Wang Yu, “Everybody, surround him. Don’t let him run away this time!”

Most of the players behind Green Devil were the ones who followed him to kill Five Flagtree. As Wang Yu came closer, they saw his face clearly and after hearing Green Devil’s command, all of them charged towards him.
