《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1137. Departed Spirit Lock

The lock looked like it was a box with nine squares lined up on it. The nine squares are of three colours, red, yellow and blue, and were arranged in a mixture, looking quite odd.
“What… What is this supposed to be???”
Looking at the odd-looking lock, Wang Yu asked the rest puzzledly…
Wang Yu knew the limits of his abilities. As for all these weird items in the game, he knew that he did not know as much as others about them.
Unexpectedly, the other three of them shook their heads, “I… I’m not sure…”
However, Five Flagtree stood aside and pointed at the skull platform, saying, “Isn’t it called Departed Spirit Lock or something based on this?”
“Lock?”
Wang Yu frowned upon hearing her. He then told Mystery Observer, “Go open it.”
As a Thief, Mystery Observer definitely had the skill to open locks so since this was a lock, he should be able to open it.
“I have never seen such a weird lock too.”
Mystery Observer unwillingly mumbled but because he did not dare to defy Wang Yu, he went to the lock and executed a lock-opening skill.
As expected.As expected.
Mystery Observer spread open his arms and said helplessly, “Can’t open it.”
“Can’t open?” Wang Yu observed the Departed Spirit Lock’s appearance in detail once more then said puzzledly, “Could it be related to those nine squares on it?”
“That makes sense…” Five Flagtree was enlightened by Wang Yu’s words then clapped her hands and said, “I know, it should be the arrangement of these squares by colour!”
“Can you do this?” Wang Yu asked.
These nine squares look quite simple as their colours were mixed up like a series of codewords, making people irritated to look at.
“Of course!” Five Flagtree proudly said, “I am an expert at puzzles!”

As she spoke, Five Flagtree walked over and used her fingers to touch the nine squares on the Departed Spirit Lock then began to swipe around.
Just then, a line of notification appeared on the nine squares: Arrange them according to the three colours, red, yellow and blue. Every move includes three steps up, down, left or right.
Seeing this notification, everyone reacted strongly. What rubbish Departed Spirit Lock was this? It looked so majestic but was actually a simple Rubik’s cube which was just one-sided.
Rubik’s cube was a toy that even children could solve so after knowing that this was an obstacle to open the lock, Mystery Observer mocked, “Chey, so it is so easy! I thought it was some insane trap.”
“So simple?”
Hearing what Mystery Observer said, Wang Yu suddenly paused for a moment.
By then, Five Flagtree began playing already.
At the same time, the Departed Spirit lock had a line of notification appear: Arrangement failed. Arranging progress +10%.
Seeing this notification, Wang Yu’s heart skipped a beat then quickly shouted, “Stop, don’t play anymore!”
Five Flagtree mumbled and said, “Don’t be impatient… This Rubik’s cube is one-sided but to arrange it takes a dozen steps.”
“This is not a Rubik’s cube!”
As he spoke, Wang Yu pulled Five Flagtree aside and said, “This is obviously a trap.”
“A trap? I don’t think so. Even the methods are written on top.”
Hearing what Wang Yu said, everyone did not understand him. Everything was spelled out clearly but how did this make it a trap? Was the system lying?
Of course, the system did not lie but the system could cheat.
“You guys are too naive!”
Wang Yu pointed at the lock quietly then said, “They did not write that after arranging it, the door will open! They might let a BOSS out instead.”

“This… can’t be.”
Everyone heard him and were stunned.
Although they were not top-notch experts, they were not novice players. After playing the game for so long, they had seen the designers’ shamelessness from than Wang Yu so they had experienced it more or less.
Based on that bunch’s lack of morals, what Wang Yu said was possible. It could even be worse.
“Then… Then what should we do?”
Everyone was helpless.
If they opened it, they were afraid of letting a BOSS out but if they don’t open it, they can’t enter the city… This was completely forcing the players to fall into their trap.
Wang Yu gave it some thought then waved his arm at the rest and said, “You guys go further away!”
“Oh!”
The three of them acknowledged him then retreated behind Wang Yu.
Seeing how the three of them had retreated, Wang Yu took a step forward and smashed his fist onto the Departed Spirit Lock.
“Boom!”
-31445
After a boom, a reduced HP number appeared above the Departed Spirit Lock and at the same time, an HP bar appeared right above it.
The three of them quickly threw a [Probing] skill over and saw that this Departed Spirit Lock also had attributes.
Departed Spirit Lock (LV70) (Special)
HP: 1 000 000
MP: 0
Skills: None
Talent: Seal
Background introduction: As its abilities were too strong and could not completely be controlled, Dominica the evil dragon locked it in the Departed Spirit Lock and placed this great Departed Spirit to guard the door.
After so many years, the Departed Spirit cannot wait for the seal to be broken. For every step the player takes to resolve the seal, the Departed Spirit’s abilities increase by 10% with no maximum.
“F*ck!!”
The three of them looked at one another with horrified expressions as a chill ran down their spines.
Damn, this designer has no conscience. How could he design something like this? If Wang Yu did not stop them, based on how complicated the unlocking steps were, they could have let out a formidable BOSS.
The two BOSSes guarding the door were already so scary much less this thing locked inside. Moreover, this BOSS was designed for large scale guilds and was sealed because it was too powerful. How could it be easy to deal with?
Luckily, Wang Yu was clever and saw through the designers’ trap so he directly used violence to smash it.
Now that the BOSS was in the lock and could not retaliate, he could only be beaten up even with tens of thousands of HP.
Mystery Observer and the other two did not just stand and watch. Seeing that the Departed Spirit could not retaliate, they wanted to attack it too so they surrounded the lock and began beating it up.
In just a few minutes, the Departed Spirit Lock’s HP bar was wiped clean. It turned into a bunch of fragments scattered on the ground.
After the notification appeared, the fragments on the ground disappeared alongside the two skull platforms.
“Ding dang…”
Wang Yu’s two rings landed on the ground.
The four of them looked at where the Departed Spirit Lock disappeared from and felt extremely relieved.
Why else would people say good things only come with risks? This nameless BOSS was easy to kill but as their first kill, it was pretty stingy as it did not even drop a single hair.
Indeed, based on how the four of them beat up the BOSS, it would be odd for the BOSS to drop anything.
Furthermore, logically speaking, this BOSS was sealed in the Departed Spirit Lock. They beat him up along with the lock into fragments so even if it dropped anything, they would disappear with the seal.

The Flesh and Blood Dungeon
This is not the usual dungeon core story. I did not originally plan to make it humorous, but, well, you'll see. This fiction will not turn into a story about a bunch of adventurers who enter a giant boars anus looking for treasure. No promises tho.

Elder's Game
In a world set upon by an ancient threat, a new cycle of civilisation competes for power and resources. Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter

Now he is a dungeon, with mana instead of Qi. Still he can cultivate and learn again. Who will he teach and help become a shining light Warning I am not the best writer, and it will take awhile to build to more of an action adventure story with dungeon building as a side as the story will shift from Jade the dungeon to his choosen students I use Cultivating Dungeon, and The bound dungeon as systems to build off of, but the story is all mine
