The rest time was over and both teams were to enter the game again.

In the second round, Team A Murder Of Crows chose the map.

Wang Yu clicked the random selection button without hesitation.

Since they were going to leave it up to fate, they had to go all the way.

A location for the second half appeared after the random selection.

City Streets.

This was a medium-sized location. Five horizontal and five vertical streets with a wide view. However, both sides of the streets had tall buildings that could provide cover for players. This was a typical sniper’s location and the job with the greatest advantage here would be the Archer.

However, Quan Zhen Sect only had two Archers. One had pretty average skills and the other was good but not proficient in long-range shooting.

Wang Yu’s luck was definitely used up.

Very soon, the player for the first match was selected by the system and sent into the map.

The player from Dark Moon Squad was called Nimble Hand and he had a non-mainstream job, a Stalker.

As an advancement job for Godhand, not only did they have talent in hacking locks, they also had talent in spotting traps.

On Quan Zhen Sect’s side, their representative was Frost Blade.

Frost Blade was not skilled in any sense but had a fairly good amount of screen time this time around. Normally, he would be the one giving away points to their opponents.

Of course, Frost Blade knew where he stood and was already expecting himself to be a coward all the way.

Hence, when the match started, Frost Blade started [Stealth] and attempted to take Nimble Hand away with him for a one-for-one exchange.

However, after Frost Blade used [Stealth], he realised that Nimble Hand did not go invisible but instead stood at the same spot confidently.

Attracting the snake out of its hole was a move Frost Blade had used before. After seeing Nimble Hand not move, Frost Blade scolded, “F*ck! Are you trying to lure me over there and stab you myself? Do you really think that I will fall for the same trick I used?”

After saying that, Frost Blade looked for a corner and squat down to test his opponent’s patience.

Very obviously, as a professional player, Nimble Hand had way more patience than Frost Blade.

After 10 minutes, Nimble Hand stayed at the exact same spot and even started drawing manga on the ground… What a talented player.

Another ten minutes passed and Frost Blade saw that Nimble Hand finished drawing the whole of Chapter 1 of Dragon Ball Z and could not wait any longer.

Every human had an opportunistic mentality and especially for Quan Zhen Sect, players who would bet on their lives for a mere 10% chance of victory. Frost Blade could not wait any longer after seeing his opponent focusing on something else.

“This fella is definitely attracting the snake out of its hole. If I go over and attack him, I will probably get stabbed by him.”

“F*ck this shit, I can Vanish! What more am I afraid of!”

After weighing the pros and cons, Frost Blade decided to gamble on his fate and so he went around the building and sneaked to the back of Nimble Hand.

Just when Frost Blade was less than three metres away, blue light started illuminating from Nimble Hand’s body and Frost Blade’s [Stealth] got cancelled mysteriously.

Sharp Ability!!

Frost Blade started having chills after seeing what happened.

He heard that Stalkers had talent in detecting traps, but did not expect them to be able to even detect [Stealth].

In a hurry, Frost Blade gave up stabbing Nimble Hand and activated [Stealth] while moving back.

“Single Leaf Blind!”

Meanwhile, Nimble Hand turned around and waved his hands, and a single leaf flew towards Frost Blade and stuck on him.

While Frost Blade vanished, that leaf was still floating in the air aimlessly which looked quite comical.

After a few seconds, [Vanish] ended and Nimble Hand immediately rushed to the leaf after activating [Haste] and stabbed the air a few times.

Frost Blade turned into white light before he could even reappear.

That was how Assassins fight: Simple yet cruel.

Dark Moon Squad gained a point in the second half.

“You!!”

All of Quan Zhen Sect pointed at Frost Blade and said, “You should have remained a coward, why did you provoke him?”

“Sigh…” Frost Blade sighed and continued, “You guys saw how he acted just now. I felt so sorry for that posture of his so I had to stab him.”

After Frost Blade, the next one up was Vainglory.

Nimble Hand was indeed a professional with moves curated accurately against every job type.

After realising that his opponent was a Pugilist who could not go invisible, he activated [Stealth] immediately.

Vainglory was not stupid either and ran to the pillar quickly, pressing his back onto the wall to prevent his opponent from attacking from behind.

However, as a professional player with confidence, Nimble Hand was not even considering to attack from the back. Instead, he appeared in front of Vainglory out of a sudden and stabbed a dagger towards Vainglory.

Luckily for Vainglory, he was very young and had great reaction. He tilted his body sideways and dodged Nimble Hand’s attack and used [Savage Maul] to try to grab the dagger.

Nimble Hand was calm and turned his dagger away slowly and went around Vainglory’s wrist, attempting to slice his wrist from the side.

Vainglory withdrew his hands immediately and kicked sideways.

Nimble Hand held his dagger in front of his chest to protect himself.

“Boom!”

Vainglory kicked onto Nimble Hand’s dagger and because he did not make direct contact with Nimble Hand, he did not cause an airborne effect on Nimble Hand. However, Nimble Hand stepped a few steps back due to the impact from the kick.

After an exchange of blows, both of them gained a better understanding of their opponent and the seriousness was shown on their expressions.

“Eh? What an impressive fella!”

Vainglory frowned at the sight of Nimble Hand. If not for his fast reaction just now, he would have been sliced at the wrist by this fella. Judging by the looks of it, it seemed like it was not his true capabilities yet.

Looking at Vainglory, Nimble Hand started being more alert.

F*ck, that reaction and skill perhaps could be considered as professional level? If this guy had been training everyday, I could be dead by now.

After the shock, Vainglory stepped firmly on the ground and charged towards Nimble Hand.

Vainglory had no choice but to attack, because Stalkers had a relatively shorter CD time. When Nimble Hand’s CD ended, Vainglory would be on the defence again.

Seeing Vainglory coming towards him, Nimble Hand remained calm and jumped backwards to widen their distance.

Meanwhile, Vainglory executed [Crushing Fist] and his body dashed forward again.

Nimble Hand smiled and used [Haste] to go around Vainglory and stood behind him.

When Vainglory stopped, Nimble Hand stabbed Vainglory’s back.
