《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1220. The Formidable Professional

“[Air Kill]!”
All the professional players smiled knowingly after seeing Nimble Hand’s moves.
Ever since the launch of >, Thieves had always had the upper hand in PKs.
Regardless of whether it was Assassins or Stalkers, they were always the top three in PK ranking.
Though the Stalker was a Thief and did not have high attack damage like the Assassins, their sensing and agility were good and they had better performance in skill than other jobs.
If the Stalker trained till perfection, they were not any weaker than Assassins.
One example was Nimble Hand’s [Air Kill], it was a move meant to deal with Pugilists.
Everybody knew that the Pugilist was considered an agile job and due to the fact that the attack damage would be greater in the air than on the ground, Pugilists preferred to hop around when battling.
However, because the movement in mid-air was always more restrictive than on the ground, the moment Vainglory landed was the moment that he was the most vulnerable.
The other jobs did not have enough momentary speed to do anything about this weakness of Pugilists, but Stalker’s [Haste] had an increase in speed, so they had fast momentary speed that could tackle Pugilists’ weakness.
[Air Kill] was a move that was made to tackle this weakness.
A lot of courage was also required for a Pugilist to jump in front of a Stalker.
No matter how good Vainglory’s moves were, he was still an ordinary player and was still unfamiliar with methods of a professional player.
When Vainglory realised that Nimble Hand was behind him, it was all too late.
“Aiya!”
Vainglory screamed and got stabbed by Nimble Hand.
Fortunately, Stalkers had a lower damage output and Vainglory had good equipment so this attack only cost Vainglory one-third of his HP.

After landing, Vainglory rolled forward to protect himself.
Seeing Vainglory run away, Nimble Hand bent forward and chased after Vainglory at a fast speed while bringing a mirage with himself.
Right at this moment, Vainglory pressed the ground with his arms and kicked his legs backwards towards Nimble Hand who was right behind him.
“Boom!”
Nimble Hand got kicked in the chest by Vainglory and backed away for a few steps as his HP decreased by yet another one-fourth.
It could not be helped that the Pugilist’s attacking damage was not any higher than the Stalker’s and Vainglory did not manage to kill Nimble Hand with one kick because he did not use a skill for that.
However this move definitely surprised the Dark Moon Squad.
F*ck, a kid with such moves? Looks like Team A Murder of Crows made it into the professional tournament not entirely by luck.
Thieves were made for ambush attacks and the Stalker was even more so.
Nimble Hand knew that the guy in front of him was not weak and he might not gain an advantage by facing him directly. Hence, he used [Stealth] again and disappeared.
Vainglory pressed himself on the wall with caution once again.
“[Testing Waters]!”
Nimble Hand sneaked to Vainglory’s left side and threw a stone at his right side.
This skill was used by Stalkers to attract aggro from the monsters, very different from the [Taunt] skill from Guardians where it could forcefully absorb player skills.
However, Vainglory was very tense and punched the incoming stone coming from his right.
He exposed his back once again.
Meanwhile, Nimble Hand raised the dagger in his hands and aimed for Vainglory’s kidney.
“Pssh!”
Vainglory was left with less than one-fifth of his HP.
“[Deathly Poison Fly Cutter]!”
Before Vainglory could turn around, Nimble Hand took out a fly cutter and threw it on Vainglory’s butt.

More damages floated above again.
Vainglory’s HP bar was almost emptied and its display became green.
Vainglory turned around and started using his fist to hit Nimble Hand but he had already run away.
Vainglory chased after him for a while and his HP bar was emptied, making him disappear into white light.
Dark Moon Squad attained yet another point.
“Took down two!! Good job, Big Hand!”
After seeing their teammate defeat Frost Blade and Vainglory, Dark Moon Squad’s morale increased yet again and they forgot all about their embarrassing moments before.
As expected, their opponent was just a bunch of paper tigers.
“Sorry…”
Vainglory felt bad for losing.
Quan Zhen Sect players came up immediately to console him, “It’s okay. Your opponent was a professional, you did great.”
“Aye?” Wang Yu was confused, “You guys even know how to console your teammate now?”
Judging from what they always do, it would already be a surprisingly nice thing to do for them to not beat Vainglory up.
“Of course!” All of them said seriously, “Teammates are family. He had already lost, so how could we bear to beat him up?”
“That’s right!” Wang Yu agreed.
“Bullsh*t!”
Fearless sneered from the side, “The second half was random selection, so these b*stards definitely will have a chance to get defeated.”
“No wonder!” Wang Yu realised that it was to ensure that they themselves will not be scolded when they were defeated.
The third player representing Team A Murder Of Crows was sent up as they were conversing.
“It’s an Archer! Damn it, Nimble Hand is gonna win three times in a row!?”
The audience mourned in silenced after seeing Ling Longmeng enter.
As the job with the longest shooting range in >, the Archers had an obvious disadvantage: They had the lowest HP.
Stalkers could go invisible, so the Archer’s wide view and long shooting range were of no use. Also, Assassins had very high damage output, so they could even be considered as the bane of Archers’ existence.
It would be better if Ling Longmeng’s opponent was an Assassin because she could still use traps to restrict his movement, but her opponent had to be a Stalker gifted in detecting traps. Ling Longmeng had zero chance in winning this kind of opponent.
The match begins!
Nimble Hand went into [Stealth] almost immediately.
Ling Longmeng was also active and pressed herself against the wall and set traps all around her while summoning her pet.
“Haha!”
Nimble Hand laughed after seeing what Ling Longmeng did. He went around the traps and stabbed a dagger into Ling Longmeng’s neck.
After getting attacked by Nimble Hand, Ling Longmeng’s HP fell by half.
Meanwhile, Ling Longmeng’s tiger pounced onto Nimble Hand.
“[Testing Waters]!”
Nimble Hand threw a stone out calmly and Ling Longmeng’s tiger got attracted to it immediately.
At the same time, Nimble Hand stabbed Ling Longmeng’s waist.
Ling Longmeng got sent out of the map without even a chance to fight back.
