《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1293. Because Of Strength!

Boundless Ocean was scheming. He shifted the hatred from himself to Quan Zhen Sect with just one sentence.
There would definitely be countless players going to Twilight City to challenge Quan Zhen Sect and only one thing would happen to the challengers… Not only would they lose to Quan Zhen Sect, but they would also waste their travel fees and most importantly, their experience.
‘Miserable’ would not be sufficient to describe what will happen to them.
Kyushu Squad sat on the champion seat for years and the emcee was pretty familiar with them and knew that Boundless Ocean was experienced and calm, hence not easy to question. He then turned the mic towards Team A Murder of Crows and said, “I would like to say that it was very lucky for you people to become the champion. What do you think was the factor that allowed you guys to top the professional tournaments from the amateur tournaments? Was it determination? Or responsibility? Or was it an accident?”
All of Quan Zhen Sect turned to look at Wang Yu.
The emcee gave the mic to Wang Yu knowingly.
It seemed like the emcee still could not believe that Team A Murder of Crows was crowned champion. The words he used were filled with disbelief.
Even though Wang Yu was patient, this kind of words made him a little mad.
F*ck, luck? Accident? How could this level of battle be caused by luck?
“Not an accident!”
Wang Yu looked at the emcee and said seriously, “It’s our strength!”
“F*ck…”
The emcee was stunned by Wang Yu’s words.
Even if they really won, polite words were still expected.
Even if their opponent was not their match, words like “Our opponent was strong too” or “We were just lucky” should be said to show their humbleness and humility.

However, Wang Yu was so straightforward that he said he won with true strength.
It was the emcee’s first time seeing such a down-to-earth guy.
That was perhaps arrogant?
It could not be helped that Wang Yu was in Quan Zhen Sect because those guys had been arrogant since the very start.
Of course, arrogance comes from strength. If other teams were to say the same thing, they would have been attacked by others. Wang Yu, on the other hand, had the charisma to do so.
Indeed, in the arena, Wang Yu really showcased his great strength in battling.
First, he defeated Tranquility Yields Transcendence, then he defeated the five top experts from Kyushu Squad alone. Nobody would dare to feel unjust.
If he really described his ability to be similar to his opponents, he would have been even seen as looking down on his opponent.
After being stunned for a while, the emcee changed the topic, “The strength you are talking about is?”
“Martial arts!”
Wang Yu raised his head confidently and pointed to the words on his chest “Supreme Martial Arts” and said, “This is my strength!”
Wang Yu’s charisma as a martial arts master showed in his words. The confidence and the aura of the master made it hard for people to link him together with the polite young man he was before the interview. Moreover, when he said the two words “Martial Arts”, it gave people the impression that he cannot be questioned.
“Kung Fu…”
The host mumbled over what Wang Yu said and stayed at the same spot. The audience were also amazed by Wang Yu’s strong charisma.
“Martial Arts… It really does exist.”
“Yeah, I thought he was just kidding.”
“I did not expect martial arts to make someone this strong. Looks like we have to learn some martial arts too…”

The audience started debating.
Old Wang and his fellow martial art learners were moved to tears after hearing the audiences’ discussions and were happy with the new impression made on the audience about martial arts.
The last time that martial arts was this popular was at the end of the 20th century and there was finally some talks about martial arts again.
Indeed, might makes right!
No matter how good you describe martial arts to be, people will not believe you without seeing results.
Although not everyone had pure intentions for learning martial arts, it was still better than having no one interested in it. People were open-minded now, therefore it was not wrong for everything to follow the societal trends.
Maybe it was because of this reason that martial arts landed in this current situation.
After the interviews came the prize presentation.
The main organiser of this year’s professional tournament was the biggest web company, Soaring Dragon Game Studios, and hence the prize reward would definitely not be a small sum of money.
As the champion of the professional tournament, Team A Murder Of Crows received a grand total of $30,000,000.
To the other teams, this amount merely equated to their annual income or their advertisement fee. However, for Quan Zhen Sect, this was a huge amount of money.
Even though Quan Zhen Sect did earn a lot of money in the game, those were just gold and would become useless if they do not manage to sell them away.
Everybody was pretty excited about receiving this much money.
Most youngsters would have at least dreamt about earning money by playing games.
After the guest-of-honour and the organiser gave their speech, the professional tournament officially ended after a few days of battling.
Everybody stared at Wang Yu like kids after reaching the hotel.
Wang Yu became uncomfortable under the stares and asked, “Why are you guys looking at me? Go pack your stuff and prepare to go home tomorrow!”
“Stop bullshitting!” Ming Du and the rest shouted, “Split the money!”
“Split the money? Why?” Wang Yu acted like he did not know what was going on.
“F*ck, f*ck, f*ck!!!”
Everybody was enraged at Wang Yu.
Wang Yu was secretly satisfied when he saw all of their reactions. It had been Quan Zhen Sect’s tradition to find joy in other’s pain.
After joking around, Wang Yu gave out a laugh and took out a cheque then asked, “How should we split this?”
“This…”
Everybody was deep in thought.
Usually, what they would do was to split evenly, but this time it concerned their actual contributions. Hence, it would not be fair to split the money evenly.
Though everybody played a part in the tournament, there were people like Wang Yu who contributed way more than others. In fact, more than half of Quan Zhen Sect’s opponents were defeated by Wang Yu.
Under this situation, nobody dared to suggest to split the money evenly.
“Why not Old Bull take half of the money?”
Fearless was quick-witted, and suggested this.
“No objections…” Everybody nodded their heads and agreed to Fearless’s suggestion. However, what should the rest of them do after Wang Yu had taken his sum? They still had no clue.
Wang Yu knew what these guys were worrying about and said with a smile, “Didn’t know that you guys could be so self-aware. I suggest that you guys split evenly.”

Is It Too Late To Move My Lair?
A legendary dragon... It has been told in the stories for hundreds of years. Some say it keeps a mountain of treasure in its cave, some say it is a vicious beast, some say it protects the village nearby, some claim it can grant their wishes, and some just think it's nothing more than a fairytale. He is not. The dragon is very real, although he isn't bothered by what people think of him in the slightest. He also doesn't have a grand treasure, nor does he grant wishes, like a magical genie. He is not interested in eating humans either. And as for protecting them… well. This is the story of the time before the legends, how they came to life and a dragon in the quest of his snooze. In a nutshell, this is a simple, light-hearted story with a dragon in it. What I have in mind is a relatively short one compared to most of the works on this site, but we'll see where it goes. This is my first attempt at writing something like this, so please be patient and kind in pointing out mistakes. As for the posting schedule... let's say it will be sporadic. Hope you enjoy reading, as much as I do while writing it… THE STORY IS NOT DROPPED, JUST SLOW ON THE UPDATES. Cover art by Nane, aka me. (Cross-posted on Scribble Hub.)

The Only Survivor
I want revenge. However, to get revenge, I need information. And for information, I need answers. Yet to get answers, I need power. But for power, I need to survive. They made a grave mistake leaving me alive and locking me in a dungeon cell. They will live to regret it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a story in a fantasy world with lots of fantastical elements, including magic and cultivation. However, there's also some decent technology in this world. Gaining power has a system and nothing comes out of nowhere. Essentially, the setting and background is high fantasy but the focus will be whatever the MC sees, so expect more of a gritty realistic low fantasy most of the time. The MC is not OP and uses his wits and strategy to survive, and maybe even thrive. The warning tags are just there because I don't want any limits to where this story may lead me to writing. *I don't own the cover*
