《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1338. Only The Brave Will Be Heavily Compensated

On the beach, Wang Yu was the only one left behind.
A 1.86-metre tall man playing with sand on the beach was definitely a captivating sight.
Fourteen Heavenly Maple and others spotted Wang Yu almost as soon as they arrived at the beach.
Looking at how focused Wang Yu was at building his sandcastle, Chiat was slightly dumbfounded. He pointed at Wang Yu and asked Fourteen Heavenly Maple, “This is the top expert from China?”
Fourteen Heavenly Maple sized Wang Yu up before replying in a slightly hesitant manner, “I think he is there.”
“Haha!” Chiat shook his head as he commented, “It seems like we’ve brought too many people here.”
Initially, Chiat thought that the Chinese players who had travelled all the way from the Chinese server had to be some kind of top expert which explained why he specifically called upon a team of players. Now… it seemed like he was merely going up against a retard.
Being instant-killed by a fella like that… It seemed like Fourteen Heavenly Maple was even weaker than he first imagined.
…
“Hey, go over and take a look!” Chiat turned to Fourteen Heavenly Maple.
“En!”
At this point, even Fourteen Heavenly Maple treated Wang Yu like a weak chicken. He walked over calmly upon Chiat’s instructions before pointing his weapon at Wang Yu. “Hey, you! I’m interested in your ship so quickly pack your things and leave! Otherwise, I will chop you up!”
Fourteen Heavenly Maple started muttering in Japanese so Wang Yu naturally did not understand a single word from him.
However, Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s act of pointing his blade at him was clearly not polite. Moreover, the people behind this fella had pretty strong murderous intent in their eyes.
Ever since young, Wang Yu received strict education so he was never one who liked bullying others so one who liked to stir up trouble unnecessarily. Therefore, Wang Yu did not even bat an eyelid after Fourteen Heavenly Maple did what he did as he continued building his sandcastle.

“Haha!”
When Chiat saw that Wang Yu disregarded Fourteen Heavenly Maple, he couldn’t help but snicker.
“B*stard!”
After being laughed at by his compatriots, Fourteen Heavenly Maple couldn’t stand it anymore. He walked over to Wang Yu’s almost completed sandcastle and lifted his foot in an attempt to destroy it.
Before Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s foot could touch the ground, he felt as though he had stepped on solid rock.
Fourteen Heavenly Maple lowered his head to take a look to see Wang Yu’s extended right hand which held back his own foot. Following which, Wang Yu completed his sandcastle with his other hand before sweeping it across to flatten it.
This was the most satisfying part of building a sandcastle so Wang Yu was never going to let others enjoy that satisfaction after he worked so hard on it.
“Eh?”
Chiat was slightly taken aback when he saw this.
Even though Fourteen Heavenly Maple was a Warrior who was not exactly the most proficient in attacking with his leg, there was no skill involved in this move. After all, a Warrior was still a power-type job so just how physically strong must this fella be to be able to do that with one hand?
“How dare you look down on me! Die!”
Fourteen Heavenly Maple might not be the strongest but he was incredibly decisive in his actions.
Given Black Dragon Guild’s influence across Immortal Island, a player like Fourteen Heavenly Maple had never been looked down upon by others. Now that Wang Yu disregarded him in such a manner, Fourteen Heavenly Maple was no longer able to tolerate it. Without any hesitation, he swung his long blade towards Wang Yu.
Wang Yu might not like to bully the weak but that didn’t mean that he enjoyed being bullied by others. Since his opponent did not know his worth, Wang Yu was naturally more than willing to send him off.
Wang Yu simply extended his left hand to grab hold of Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s wrist which was holding onto the blade. Following which, Wang Yu twisted it towards the ground.

With the accurate and powerful twist, Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s right palm opened up involuntarily and his blade fell off his hand.
At this point, Wang Yu’s right hand caught Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s blade as his left hand continued the motion to force Fourteen Heavenly Maple onto the ground. With his head pressed against the sand, Wang Yu quickly used the blade in his right hand to stab through Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s head.
Before the tragic Fourteen Heavenly Maple could realise what was happening, he was turned into white light.
On the other hand, Wang Yu remained seated on the ground from the start to the end.
“Gold weapon? This fella is pretty sincere to actually come back all the way just to gift me an equipment!”
After getting rid of Fourteen Heavenly Maple, Wang Yu smiled as he admired the blade before tossing it into his bag.
Gold equipment was the best seller in today’s market. Even if Wang Yu had no use for it, he could sell it for good money.
“!!!”
After witnessing this, Chiat and the others had their jaws wide open.
One must know that this was not the same period as when the server had just opened. During that time, every player had very little HP and instant-kill was a common sight.
Nowadays, the average level of players was around 50 and even the lowest HP Archer would have at least tens of thousand HP, let alone a Warrior like Fourteen Heavenly Maple.
What did it imply to be casually instant-killed by someone else?
Even if the Black Dragon Guild had as many experts as clouds, there was no one as fearsome as this.
Chiat’s greatest shock was that the weapon in Wang Yu’s hand was actually snatched from Fourteen Heavenly Maple… In the game, a weapon was much more precious than lives and just how easily did Wang Yu manage to steal Fourteen Heavenly Maple’s weapon?
It couldn’t be helped as Immortal Island was a foreign land. Moreover, even people in China who meet Wang Yu for the first time would be exceedingly shocked to see just how frightening his techniques were.
“Group leader…”
Moments later, everyone else finally regained their senses as one of the players reminded cautiously, “Should we head back first? To ask for more manpower from the president?”
Initially, Chiat also had thoughts to leave after seeing how Wang Yu fought. However, his resolution grew firm when he was reminded by his men.
After all, this ship was undoubtedly of utmost importance to the Black Dragon Guild. As long as Chiat could bring this ship away, he would have contributed a lot to the guild and promotions were bound to come his way.
However, everything would change significantly if the president got involved so early on. Chiat would at most be labelled as the man who provided the information… He could forget about pay raise, let alone promotions.
In today’s day and age where competition was so fierce, how could Chiat give up on such golden opportunities?
Even if his opponent was stronger than he expected, he was still alone. With ten of them on his side, there was no reason for him to back away from a fight.
At the thought of this, Chiat waved on his men and said, “Everyone, attack him together!! Once we manage to steal the ship, everyone will have a share of the rewards.”
Despite saying this, Chiat was the first to raise his shield, lowered his head and charged towards Wang Yu.
Only the brave will be heavily compensated was a logic that applied to people of every country.
The moment Chiat mentioned about the rewards, the fear in everyone’s heart disappeared momentarily. Long-range players started aiming their weapons at Wang Yu while close-combat players followed closely behind Chiat.
