《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1360. Catching Them In One Fell Swoop?

After receiving the message and the gold from Sanguine Warflag, Fearless wasn’t surprised in the least.
After all, if Southern Heaven Mighty God could have thought of such a move, how could someone of Fearless’ intellect not have thought of it?
After receiving the message, Fearless forwarded Sanguine Warflag’s message to Wang Yu.
“Got it!”
Wang Yu acknowledged the message before activating Qing Gong and making his way over to the bar.
On the other side, the members from Assassin Monarch made their way over to the bar from all different parts of Twilight City.
At this time of the day, those players that had to work had already gone to work, while those that needed to go to school were already in school. Those rare few players that came online had already left to clear their dungeons. Thus, there were only a few players in the bar.
When the first player, Southern Heaven Mighty God, reached the bar, there were only a few players remaining in the bar. The moment all of the members from Assassin Monarch had gathered, most of the players had left the bar, except for a single player back-facing the players from Assassin Monarch and eating alone.
Seeing that her own people had already gathered, Scarless eyed the surroundings, before frowning as she glanced at Southern Heaven Mighty God and said, “Where are the people from Sanguine Alliance? Why aren’t they here yet?”
Assassin Monarch was a guild that murdered and stole as long as their clients offered the correct price. For a guild that operated such a dark business, they were more sensitive towards punctuality. Thus, seeing that the people from Sanguine Alliance had yet to arrive, Scarless couldn’t help but feel dissatisfied at this.
The customer is king. Now that they had already paid the money, the people from Sanguine Alliance should have long arrived here to wait for them. Instead, they had actually left their customers waiting for them. This was simply bullying the customer just because the shop was big. If things weren’t so urgent, Scarless would have already flown into a rage.
“Don’t be impatient! Let me ask him!” Upon seeing that his boss’ mood was bad, Southern Heaven Mighty God hurriedly opened up his friend list and sent a message to Sanguine Warflag, “Boss Sanguine, where are your people? Why have they not arrived yet?”

Shortly after, Sanguine Warflag replied, “They have arrived, they are currently waiting for you in the bar!”
“???”
Upon reading this, Southern Heaven Mighty God instantly stood up on his stool and looked around the interior of the bar. In one glance, he immediately spotted the lone player that was sitting alone in the corner.
Seeing that there was only this person remaining in the bar, he should be the one that Sanguine Alliance had sent to receive them.
Thinking up till this point, Southern Heaven Might God shouted towards the direction of that player and said, “Hey, are you someone from Sanguine Alliance?”
However, the players seemed to not have heard what Southern Heaven Mighty God said and turned a deaf ear to him.
Seeing that the other party had ignored him, Southern Heaven Mighty God frowned, before walking over to the player’s table and banging on it, saying, “Hey, I’m talking to you! Are you someone sent by Sanguine Alliance?”
Without even lifting his head, the other player replied in a deep voice, “Are you Assassin Monarch’s Guild Leader?”
“Eh…” Upon hearing this, Southern Heaven Mighty God was stunned, before awkwardly replying, “No… I’m not…”
The other player coldly replied, “You do not have the right to speak to me, get your boss over here!”
“I…”
Upon hearing this, Southern Heaven Mighty God almost flipped the table in his rage. However, after recalling that his person was someone from Sanguine Alliance, he could only swallow his rage. He turned over to look at Scarless with a helpless look
Assassin Monarch was currently in a tight spot and hence, Scarless did not want to drag things out any longer. She immediately stood up and walked to the side of the player, and said, “I am the Guild Leader of Assassin Monarch, Scarless, may I know… eh?”
Before Scarless could finish her sentence, the other party suddenly turned his around to look at her. Upon seeing that heroic and defined face looking at her, Scarless was momentarily stunned. She said in shock, “You… you are?!”
The other player coldly replied, “I’m your husband! How could you not recognise me?”
“???”
After hearing these words, the players from Assassin Monarch revealed a face of shock. Shortly after, Southern Heaven Mighty God asked in confusion, “Boss, your husband actually plays this game, too? Why not introduce him to us!”

“Introduce your *ss!”
Scarless exclaimed in shock and rage, “This person is f*cking Iron Bull!”
As she was speaking, Wang Yu instantly stood up and raised his hand out in a claw to grab ahold of Scarless. However, Scarless reactions were extremely quick. Upon seeing Wang Yu’s sudden movements, she immediately took a step back and arrived behind Southern Heaven Mighty God, before pushing him forward as a meat shield for herself.
“???”
Before Southern Heaven Mighty God could react, Wang Yu’s large hand had already grabbed ahold of his neck.
Upon seeing that he grabbed the wrong target, Wang Yu was slightly shocked in his heart. Following which, he casually tossed Southern Heaven Mighty God to the side, causing him to fly in midair and crash into a table by the side, resulting in the table being blasted into smithereens. At this moment, the boss of the bar instantly appeared beside Southern Heaven Mighty God’s figure had firmly hugged onto his thigh.
Wang Yu, however, did not seem to care if Southern Heaven Mighty God was dead or alive. Instead, he looked at Scarless with a slightly surprised look and said, “[The Plum Tree Withers Instead Of The Peach Tree]? Moon Shadow Faction’s [Traceless Snow Steps]? No wonder you had the audacity to do such a thing!”
“You… know about the Moon Shadow Faction?”
Upon hearing Wang Yu accurately pointing out her origin, Scarless’s heart involuntarily trembled.
Moon Shadow Faction was the same as Sparrow Sect, and were both factions that practiced qing gong.
Martial arts were a form of attacking technique. Qing gong, on the other hand, was a variant of it.
In the age of technological advancement, there wasn’t much of a future in learning Martial Arts, much less a variant like qing gong. A normal martial arts practitioner wouldn’t even spend their entire life’s effort into learning something like qing gong. After all, there wasn’t much use to it. Thus, a large number of qing gong practitioners had given up on the righteous path and began to abuse their abilities for evil purposes, resulting in the tainting of the world of martial arts.
Therefore, these qing gong practitioners were seldom held in high regard by others. As time passed, this form of Martial Arts eventually died. Even a faction as famous as Sparrow Sect had become a faction that only a few people in the martial arts world had heard of, much less Moon Shadow faction, which belonged to those that no one bothered about.
Even Scarless herself sometimes doubted if there was such a thing called “Moon Shadow Faction” in this world, and whether it was just her master attempting to deceive her.
Thus, seeing Wang Yu being able to discern her origin with just a single glance, it was easy to imagine how shocked Scarless must be in her heart.
Of course, a reputation was merely a reputation. At the end of the day, only absolute strength mattered. Even though the Moon Shadow Faction had declined to such an extent, their [Traceless Snow Steps] was as renowned as the Yang family’s [Seven Star Steps].
In order to prevent Martial Arts from disappearing, the Wang family had begun recording down all the different forms of Martial Arts of various factions into books, a hundred years ago. Therefore, Wang Yu had naturally heard of a Martial Arts like [Traceless Snow Steps].
“Got it!”
Wang Yu coolly replied, “Seeing as you are a martial artist as well, I will give you one last chance. Return the City Lord Seal to me and I will not pursue the matter of you impersonating my wife!”
Wang Yu was, after all, a grandmaster of his generation. Thus, his temperament was extraordinary. Even though Wang Yu’s heart was still slightly enraged over this matter, his anger had already mostly dissipated. Seeing that his opponent was someone like him, a martial arts practitioner, he was willing to offer one last chance.
“Hehe! Return it to you?”
However, Scarless coldly smiled instead and replied, “Our Assassin Monarch has no such thing as returning the things that we stole. It’s fine if you want the City Lord Seal, just pay us for it. 1,000,000 Gold, not any cent less.”
F*ck, this chick was really good at doing business. She wanted to earn 500,000 Gold without losing any capital… Adding the previous 500,000 Gold from Lava Teeth, she would instantly become a millionaire.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
