《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1411. Inferno Pearl

[Bathing Fire]: The Inferno Fairies originated from the evolution of the fire element so it can turn fire attributes damage into one’s strength.
Ming Du’s fire magic’s damage was only inferior to that of lightning magic so its attacks were top-notch. These two types of magic were often used by Ming Du so they were also the skills he was most familiar with. With these two types of magic landing on the Inferno Fairies, they instantly increased the Fairies’ attributes by a lot.
“Oh, sh*t!”
Seeing what happened, everyone was in shock and reprimanded Ming Du, “Are you an idiot?”
Ming Du felt wronged. It was his instinct to attack once Crotch Lord went up to taunt after working together for so long. He did not think about this and did not expect this monster to have such a sneaky move.
Under Crotch Lord and his crowd taunt, the Inferno Fairies’ aggro was pulled towards the both of them. The Inferno Fairies were just then fed a round of fire by Ming Du so they were on fire as they opened their mouths to spit balls of fire at the two of them.
The two of them quickly stood back to back and lifted their shields to protect themselves.
Luckily, the two of them were top-notch experts with top-tier equipment. Or else, even if they had a lot of HP, they would not be able to hang in there for long under the surrounding attacks by dozens of high-level monsters.
Although Ming Du could learn all types of magic, quality was more important than quantity when it came down to skills. Ming Du was the most well-versed in lightning and fire magic, and for the rest, he only knew one defence and one control.
As for ice and wind magic which crowd control was stronger than attacks, Ming Du never even practiced them.
After all, attributes were meant to assist or tackle one another. Since Ming Du’s fire attribute was so strong, increasing his ice or water ones might weaken his fire.

Ming Du sought after the strongest attacks so control was never his forte so why would he sacrifice for it?
“Raksha! Now!”
Seeing that their two Guardians could not hold on any longer, Fearless shouted towards the Magician in a blue robe who was beside God of Death’s Left Hand.
Raksha waved his staff at the two of them as he executed a buff move, [Snowstorm].
Not everyone wanted the strongest attacks of lightning magic like Ming Du as such magic demands very strenuous skills. No matter how strong the attack was, if it missed the opponent, nothing would be achieved.
Moreover, teamwork was key in this game so every team would include a control player. Ice magic was way stronger than Shamans’ attacks and movement so in >, out of ten Magicians, nine specialised in ice.
Raksha was a professional expert. Other than Boundless Ocean, that impossibly strong expert, not many other players of the same job could match up to Raksha.
“Huhu!”
As the cold wind blew and snow fell onto the Inferno Fairies causing a series of damage, it slowed their movement as well.
[Snowstorm] reduced 30% of normal players’ speed and 20% of their attack speed but now that ice magic directly curbed the fire element, the control and damage inflicted doubled. This reduced the strain put on the Priests who were trying to heal their players’ HP. Crotch Lord and Blood Termination immediately felt more relieved.
Even though they could not use fire magic to attack, lightning ones were fine.
After things stabilised, Ming Du clasped his hands and recited his spell, throwing a [Thunder Cloud Storm] onto the Fairies’ heads.
Dark clouds gathered and bolts of lightning struck amongst them, sending out trembling roars.
Magicians were known as the best because towards the end, no matter how low their attack strength, it exceeded other jobs’ exponentially.
The Inferno Fairies did not have much HP to begin with so after suffering from a buff move from two experts, their HP freefell.

“Gagaga!”
After their HP turned red, the Inferno Fairies shrieked oddly and began leaping up then pounced on the two of their shields with their four limbs apart.
“Not good!”
Seeing this familiar action by the Inferno Fairies, Fearless was stunned. He lifted his staff and threw his [Sacred Ray] on Crotch Lord.
Boom!!! Boom!!! “Boom!”
Soon, balls of fire floated up into the sky and instantly swallowed the two of them. The others were stunned by the sudden appearance of the chain explosions. Instinctively, they turned to look at Fearless.
Damn it, [Inferno Blast] was actually self-explosion. To use such underhand cruel skills, these midgets are really…
…
As the representative figure of the trend of self-explosion, Fearless was no stranger to such self-explosion damage. Self-explosion skills used self-sacrifice as an all-out attack so the damage it can do was extremely scary. Furthermore, such self-explosion’s damage would disregard all defense and could inflict real damage.
Crotch Lord had Fearless undefeatable holy shield so he was not injured at all but Blood Termination was not so lucky. Kingdom of Hell’s Priests and Physicians had good skills and awareness but they did not practice self-explosion. This sudden self-explosion caught the Physician off guard so before he could give Blood Termination their [Sacred Ray], Blood Termination was already swallowed by the explosions and had lost his life.
After the smoke cleared, the chaotic battleground was only left with Crotch Lord and the ground was silent with bits and pieces of fire element fragments lying around.
Fortunately, the Inferno Fairies were evolved from the fire element. If they were made of blood and meat, this scene would be unwatchable.
This lived up as a hidden dungeon. In just one round, the Inferno Fairies were wiped out but took along a Tank from Wang Yu’s team, causing everyone to sigh.
Raksha did not return and so they were short of a pair of hands. This was just the beginning. They had not even entered the gates and was already short of an important Tank. The following rounds were going to be tougher.
“Eh?” “What is this?”
Just as everyone was feeling upset about losing a teammate, suddenly, Crotch Lord picked up a red pearl from the ground before sending its attributes into the team chat.
Inferno Pearl: Rare mineral.
Item introduction: The crystallization of the fire element which contains formidable flaming energy.
“F*ck! It’s the Inferno Pearl, give it to me!”
Seeing the attributes of the Inferno Pearl, Ming Du looked like an excited puppy who jumped up and yelled.
The players from God of Death’s Left Hand also lit up seeing it.
Crotch Lord was a Tank so it was his duty to absorb damage. As for attacking people, he had no interest in that, so he did not know what the Inferno Pearl was. However, the others present were experts of attacking, so naturally, they knew what it was.
Inferno Pearl was a rare mineral which could be embedded onto players’ equipment to raise their fire attributes. The effect was akin to the Thunder Pearl Ming Du snatched from Thunderstorm City.
There were more than Magicians in >. All other jobs had damage setting attributes too, and even the physical damage ones could be aided by the raising of their fire element.
Flame damage was the strongest amongst all attribute-type damage so it was not just highly sought after by Magicians. It was also the favourite of the Warriors. This explained Ming Du and everyone else’s reaction when they saw the Inferno Pearl… Blood Termination was the pitiful one who died an unfulfilled death but was overshadowed by a pearl.
