[Dark Barrier] was designed to control so its control effect was very strong. After being rooted by it, the Inferno Fairies could not move forward any more.

Hence, the rooted Inferno Fairies opened their mouths to spit [Berserk Inferno] at them.

[Berserk Inferno] was the strengthened version of flame attacks. As compared to flame attacks, it had a greater attack range and stronger damage. In an instant, their faces began throwing fireballs towards everyone.

“Front row, hang in there!!”

Fearless saw what was happening so he used his staff to point at Crotch Lord, who was in front, who lifted his shield. Asura and the rest also used their bodies to block in front of the rest.

The [Dark Barrier] was only so big. Although they were surrounded by the Inferno Fairies, only the closest few who were rooted by the [Dark Barrier] could attack them.

Their circular formation had ten in the front row so on average, only a few fairies were attacking one of them.

[Berserk Inferno] did not cause real damage like self-explosion even though its damage was not weak. Normal players would probably lose half their lives when attacked by it.

However, was Quan Zhen Sect just normal players? This bunch had the best equipment, armor and magic defence, especially for Crotch Lord who had the one and only God-grade shield in the game.

Even though Kingdom of Hell’s players were poorer, the equipment in the game was their livelihood so they naturally owned some good ones too. Not just a few fireballs from these elite monsters, even if they were stepped on by a BOSS twice, with two Priests around, Fearless and Pharmacist Pocket, this bunch would stay alive.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

A fireball flew across from two metres away and landed on them, causing a deafening explosive sound.

With the shield in his hand, Crotch Lord was uninjured.

Asura’s shield shattered but it blocked a large portion of the damage. In addition to the Holy Knight’s incredible defence, Asura was not badly injured. He sprinkled something above his head and a sacred ray shone, causing his HP to recover completely. Such a shameless job was really a pain in the *ss…

The rest were not as sturdy as the two of them so after this round of attack, their HP dropped by a fifth. However, Fearless and Pharmacist’s Pocket did not just sit and watch. They lifted their staff and as two rays of holy light shone, everyone’s HP refilled completely.

At the same time, the back row of attacking jobs began attacking.

As the ice control, Asura acted first. He lifted his staff and sent an Awakening ice spell, [Miles of Icy Seal].

A blinding ray of blue light flashed across and the freezing power spread out from Asura. In an instant, the Inferno Fairies around the [Dark Barrier] turned into ice statues.

The God of Death’s Left Hand prepared his bow and arrow.

“Boom!”

The bowstring resounded.

A thick arrow flew out and immediately shot through the few Inferno Fairies who were right in front.

“Dang!”

The Inferno Fairies who were shot through turned into fragments on the ground.

At the same time, Ming Du finished reciting his [Thunder Cloud Storm], causing bolts of lightning to rain on the monsters.

After the berserk, the Inferno Fairies were only left with 150 thousand HP. After suffering from Asura’s [Miles of Icy Seal] and a round of [Thunder Cloud Storm], these two awakening skills, before the Inferno Fairies around the [Dark Barrier] could self-explode, more than half of them were wiped out.

The remaining few were barely alive. Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng used their crossbows to wipe out the rest.

They were experts after all. Within this round of attack, Quan Zhen Sect and Kingdom of Hell killed more than thirty Inferno Fairies.

Inferno Fairies had at least 150 thousand HP and yet, in just one round of attack, they wiped out one-third of the monsters there. Such efficiency could only be described as fearful.

Of course, these Inferno Fairies were not automated BOSSES and did not have AI so after the berserk, they could only depend on their abilities.

Seeing how their compatriots were killed in one round, they were not fearful. Instead, they disregarded everything else and pounced forward.

“Old Li! Continue control!”

Just then, Spring Halo’s [Dark Barrier] time was almost up so Fearless ordered Ming Du.

“[Earth Wall]! Rise!”

Ming Du stabbed the ground with his staff then opened his palms, bent down and aggressively slammed the ground.

“Honglong!”

His hand signs plus incantations strengthened the skill. Once Ming Du’s palms landed, the ground surrounding everyone rose three metres high, blocking all the Inferno Fairies outside the wall.

The Inferno Fairies began spitting towards Ming Du’s [Earth Wall].

The [Earth Wall] was unlike the [Dark Barrier]. This was a physical object which could be damaged by force.

Under the Inferno Fairies’ attack, without holding long, Ming Du’s [Earth Wall] was blown into ash. By then Spring Halo’s [Dark Barrier] CD time was up and he put the [Dark Barrier] up once more.

With the kind of cooperation earlier, Quan Zhen Sect and Kingdom of Hell’s chemistry increased exponentially, bringing out another round of powerful attack – [Ice Seal], [Thunder Storm], and arrows flying all around – and another one-third of the Inferno Fairies were killed.

Now, there were only thirty-odd of the initial hundred Inferno Fairies left…

Just now, the Inferno Fairies had a quantity advantage so everyone felt they were tough to deal with. With only a third left, they barely had any quantity advantage.

Twenty-odd top-notch experts versus thirty elite monsters. The results were unquestionable. Even if the Inferno Fairies self-exploded, there would not be any use.

The close-combat jobs were sick of being human shields so now that the Inferno Fairies did not have a quantity advantage, everyone spread out their formation and began attacking to wipe out the remaining Inferno Fairies.

However, to everyone’s disappointment, these Inferno Fairies did not drop any Inferno Pearls, and not even an equipment.

Obviously, those Inferno Pearls dropped outside were just equipment to open the gate. Luckily, Fearless took them down, or else, they would have lost them too.

The players in Kingdom of Hell had just experienced what good days were like so they felt a huge emotional difference. They looked at the emptiness on the ground, shook their heads and said, “Tsk, tsk, tsk, what a waste of our effort. They did not even drop a strand of hair. They raised our hopes up for nothing. A BOSS would be better. At least we can take some equipment with us. What do we get for killing these small monsters…”

“Don’t worry!” Spring Halo comforted them, “We are already so far in! You’ll get to see the BOSS…”

“Honglong!!”

Before Spring Halo finished his words, suddenly a huge black shadow with flames descended from the sky into the centre of the courtyard, smashing a groove on the ground, causing a loud boom.”

Instantly, the entire courtyard began to tremble and everyone could not stand firm.

After stabilising themselves, everyone looked towards the sound and saw that in the middle of the courtyard, there was a huge stone amidst the flames.
