《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1424. Animal Cruelty

In terms of attributes, this Inferno Two-headed Hound was only average. There were two to three of this monster, much fewer than the Inferno Fairies.
Even though they appeared extremely ferocious, for experts like Wang Yu and the rest, they did not pose too much of a threat. Compared to the Inferno Fairies previously, the threat was way less.
After all, the Berserk Inferno Fairies had extremely high attack power and with their numbers, it would be a headache if they self-destructed.
“Begin the fight!”
After analyzing the attributes of the Inferno Two-headed Hound, Fearless surveyed the surroundings, before giving the order to the Archers behind him.
After analyzing the attributes of the Inferno Two-headed Hound, Fearless surveyed the surroundings, before giving the order to the Archers behind him.
“Boom!””Boom!”
God of Death’s Left Hand had already prepared himself beforehand. Upon receiving the command, he immediately drew an arrow and sent it flying.
“Weng!!”
With the sound of an explosion, an arrow pierced through the Two-headed Hound closest to everyone, before nailing into the ground behind it.
“!!!”
Upon seeing their own kind getting attacked, all of the Inferno Two-headed Hounds’ attention was immediately drawn towards the attacker. Three exclamation marks appeared above their heads as they immediately pounced towards the group.
Fearless commanded, “Hold it there!”
Upon receiving the order, both Crotch Lord and Asura stepped forward at the same time, as they lowered their heads and raised their shields in front of them, colliding with the Inferno Two-headed Hounds that were charging towards them.
Warriors and Knights were the best representatives of the power-type jobs.
Both the Guardian’s [Charge] and the Knight’s [Knightly Charge] were abilities that had extremely high judgement. Furthermore, Crotch Lord and Asura were both experts, their equipment and abilities were top-tier.
Even if the Inferno Two-headed Hounds had a ten level advantage over them, in the face of this duo, they would still be at a disadvantage.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
Following the sound of collision, the very first Inferno Two-headed Hound collided into Crotch Lord’s duo’s shields. Shortly after, a whimper could be heard as it was thrown backwards onto the ground by the duo’s shield.

“Holy Protection!”
After striking down their target, Asura did not pause for a single moment. A ray of white holy light caged Crotch Lord and Asura within it, momentarily boosting the defence of the duo by a large margin.
At the same time, Crotch Lord raised his middle finger at the Inferno Two-headed Hounds around him and shouted, “Stupid dogs, where are you running off to!”
Upon hearing Crotch Lord’s group [Taunt], the aggro of the surrounding Inferno Two-headed Hounds were immediately pulled towards him.
Monsters were fundamentally different from players. If a player was [Taunt]-ed, their first reaction would be to recover themselves and pull back.
After the monsters were influenced by [Taunt], all of their aggro would be directed at the player instead.
“Pfft!!”
After arriving in front of Crotch Lord, the Inferno Two-headed Hounds spat a mouthful of flames at Crotch Lord and Asura.
“Pah!”
Upon seeing this, the both of them immediately knelt to the ground and tilted their shield horizontally, before joining them together and positioning it right in front of their bodies.
The surface area of the shields of the Tank job was extremely big. Horizontally, the length of each shield was over two and a half metres. Combining both of the shields together will create a protective wall in front of them which spanned over five metres in length.
All of the lava that was spat on the shields were completely reflected back.
At this moment, Raksha had finally completed the incantations for his magic. He pointed his magic staff towards the ground and exclaimed, “Blizzard Road! Spread!”
“Dang!”
A layer of ice emanated from the tip of the staff that came in contact with the ground. In the blink of an eye, this layer of ice had arrived at the feet of the Inferno Two-headed Hounds.
Ice-type magic was extremely effective against these fire-type monsters. Raksha’s magic was capable of restricting a BOSS’ movements, much less these random mobs.
Shortly after, a layer of light blue frost enveloped the bodies of all of the Inferno Two-headed Hounds.
At this moment, Ming Du raised the staff in his right hand into the air and cried out, “God of Thunder assist me! Ten Thousand Lightning Barrage!”

“Hua la la…”
Shortly after, rays after rays of lightning that appeared like golden snakes descended from the skies, and struck the bodies of the Inferno Two-headed Hounds.
[Ten Thousand Lightning Barrage] was one of the strongest moves in thunder-type magic. Even though the attack power and attack range were inferior to that of [Thunder Cloud Storm], the frequency of every attack was very tight. This can be seen from the “ten thousand” in the name of the ability!
Everyone knows that water was a conductor of electricity. In >, the game supported the combination of abilities. Thus, there was an enhanced effect when Ming Fu’s thunder-type magic struck the monsters that were covered in a layer of ice.
After the both of them had casted their own abilities, a devastating number appeared above the heads of the Inferno Two-headed Hounds.
-200000!!
The Inferno Two-headed Hounds only had 500000 HP to begin with. In a single exchange, 40% of their HP had been instantly wiped out.
“Awu, awu!”
Upon being hit by the attacks, the Inferno Two-headed Hounds whimpered incessantly, seemingly as if they were complaining at the animal cruelty actions of the two Magicians. Instinctively, they began to scatter in all four directions.
As their movement speeds were greatly reduced by Raksha’s [Blizzard Road], they were unable to escape the range of Ming Du’s attack within a short period of time.
“Stay here!”
Not giving the hounds a chance to escape, Spring Halo immediately activated his [Dark Barrier].
Shortly after, a black circle appeared around the Inferno Two-headed Hounds, as [Dark Barrier] successfully caged in all of the Inferno Two-headed Hounds within it.
Upon seeing the three Magicians making their moves, the rest were naturally unwilling to lose out to them.
“Shadows Chain Kick!”
“Broken Army Rising Dragon Slash!”
“Yama Annhilation!”
“Hadouken!”
It was simply too shameless for a group of experts to launch such ruthless attacks on these helpless dogs, trapped within a cage. In less than a minute, the Inferno Two-headed Hounds were completely eliminated.
Upon seeing the monsters that had been beaten up badly by their own efforts get killed by others, both Ming Du and Raksha slapped their thighs and shouted in anger, “F*ck! A bunch of shameless kill-stealers!”
It couldn’t be helped, in terms of damage, those melee job classes would definitely lose out to Magicians. However, when it came to kill-stealing… Magicians were greatly lacking in their ability to control their damage output.
“Ha ha ha!” Upon hearing this, the bunch of kill-stealers shamelessly replied, “Unsatisfied? I finished off the monster with my own capabilities! Who are you to claim that I stole your kill?”
“F*ck!”
Ming Du immediately swung his staff right in front of him, wanting to throw a lightning bolt right at the faces of these shameless b*stards.
Just when everyone was still joking around, an Inferno Two-headed Hound that had appeared dead, suddenly came back to life and made a run for it in the opposite direction.
“Eh?”
No one had expected that there was actually still a dog alive in the cage.
“Trying to run?”
Upon seeing this, God of Death’s Left Hand immediately knocked an arrow on his bow and drew it back.
“Swish!”
Before God of Death’s Left Hand had the chance to release his arrow, a crossbow arrow suddenly flew past his face and accurately lodged itself into the nape of the fleeing Inferno Two-headed Hound.
“Whine…”
After letting out a miserable whimper, the Inferno Two-headed Hound finally collapsed and died.
God of Death’s Left Hand hurriedly turned his head around, only to see Yang Nuo raising her bow and aiming at himself. The reflection of the arrow tip on the crossbow caused God of Death’s Left Hand to break out in cold sweat, as he frantically said, “You, what are you trying to do?”
“Nothing, nothing!” Fearless hurriedly pulled Yang Nuo to the side and said, “Sister Clear Snow, you have to control yourself… if you want to kill, do it after we have cleared this dungeon.”
“F*ck…”
Clearly, Fearless’ words were said intentionally such that God of Death’s Left Hand could hear it. Upon hearing Fearless’ words, God of Death’s Left Hand asked in a confused manner, “Kill me? Why do you want to kill me? I don’t even have any grievances with you!”

Giantslayer
Synopsis: Alain is a fledgling Giantslayer, enhanced individuals capable of killing deadly giants. But these giants are not big, they are what ancient humans would refer to as mundane animals or beasts. 'The Final Curse' as many humans call it, was a curse that shrunk down the entire human population to the size of small rodents. When the curse first occurred, the majority of the human population was eaten by beasts who are now of towering heights and sizes. But their abandoned gargantuan structures were not built for naught, the remaining humans retreated back into their now giant buildings and rebuild societies and nations inside of them. Follow Alain in his quest to right the wrongs done to his past and hunt down the elusive and mythical Elder Giants, giants capable of intellects and speech. Are they real? Alain certainly insists so despite no one believing him. But perhaps it did not matter, they were real enough to him for what they did to his family. A/N: I'm pretty new to writing creatively so I hope to improve as we move along the story. The prose I use is still fairly simple and 'plain', but I am also new to literature in general so I am hoping to improve my vocabulary as well. It should also come under no surprise that I am a non-native English speaker and writer as well. With that said, I do appreciate constructive feedback. Please don't be overly mean at least. All the chapters are rough drafts that will be edited in the future. The cover is by this user from pixiv: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/4545042
