“Tsk!”
Yang Nuo let out a cold snort, before keeping her crossbow and turning away. Upon seeing this, God of Death’s Left Hand frowned and couldn’t help but send a message in his party’s chat, “Did I offend this lady before?”
“Have you forgotten about it, Boss?” The people from Kingdom of Hell revealed a look of shock.
“What do you mean?” God of Death’s Left Hand became even more confused.
“It was during the professional league!” Hades reminded him and said, “Didn’t you beat her back then? It seems like she is still holding a grudge against you for that…”
“F*ck! Surely not! Are women that scary?”
Upon hearing what Hades said, God of Death’s Left Hand felt a chill down his spine as he recalled the events that happened during the professional league not long ago.
Of course, his methods were a little ruthless back then and had caused this lady to fall to her death. However, that was during the tournament, wasn’t it a situation whereby everyone fought to survive? Furthermore, the incident occurred so long ago, incurring the wrath of a woman was truly terrifying…
“Of course, Boss has never entered a relationship before, that’s why you wouldn’t know…” Hades shook his head and sighed.
“Oh? You’ve been in one before?” The rest from Kingdom of Hell immediately questioned Hades back.
“No…” Hades shook his head once more and said, “I have always wanted to make such a statement…”
“F*ck you!” The rest immediately threw their middle fingers at him.
The only one that wasn’t in a joking mood was God of Death’s Left Hand, who was regretfully glancing towards Yang Nuo’s direction.
…
At this moment, Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng were currently asking Fearless in their party’s chat, “By doing this, he would let us have all of the equipment unconditionally?”
“Of course!” Fearless let out an evil smile and said, “He isn’t a fool! If there is an item that can be used by an Archer later, he will definitely hand it over willingly.”
Everyone witnessed God of Death’s Left Hand’s capabilities. From the moment they entered the dungeon, in terms of both damage output and battle control, God of Death’s Left Hand had completely outdone the players from Quan Zhen Sect. Apart from Wang Yu, there wasn’t anyone else that could keep up with him.

This b*stard’s heavy bow was similar to that of a cannon. His presence in the team had completely outshone Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng, who were Archers as well.
Even though God of Death’s Left Hand may have already obtained a skill book previously, if an item meant for an Archer were to appear later on, given his outstanding performance, it definitely wouldn’t be given to either of Yang Nuo’s duo.
They had previously agreed prior to entering the dungeon that the loots were to be distributed based on one’s job class, amongst players of the same job class, the allocation would be dependent on the damage dealt by the players. It would be too shameless for them to forcefully snatch the item and give it to Yang Nuo’s duo.
Even though the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect did not care about their faces, they still had to act decently in front of others so as to not appear as if they were bullying them.
Thus, Fearless had come up with such a plan.
God of Death’s Left Hand had personally experienced Yang Nuo’s strength. Even though she had been suppressed by his performance for now, and was even someone that had lost to him previously, God of Death’s Left Hand knew how difficult it was to deal with this lady. If it wasn’t because of her moment of carelessness previously, the victor of the fight between them would be uncertain.
It wouldn’t be gentlemanly of him to be so calculative with a woman. Furthermore, Yang Nuo was an expert herself. If he was really marked by her, Kingdom of Hell would suffer if they wanted to continue to have dealings with Sanguine Alliance in the future.
God of Death’s Left Hand naturally knew what he had to do to please her. When it came to the matters between a man and a woman, survival was an innate ability that all men possessed.
Everyone from Quan Zhen Sect were crafty individuals as well. They naturally knew the intentions behind Fearless’ and Yang Nuo’s words.
“F*ck!” Upon reading the conversation between the three, the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect cursed, “Fearless ah Fearless, you are truly a dog!”

“He he!” Fearless cheekily smiled and said, “As the head of the guild, I will naturally give my best to fight for the well-being of my guild members! No need to praise me!”
…
The item drop rates of hidden dungeons were way higher than that in normal dungeons. Even though the strengths of these Inferno Two-headed Hounds weren’t much, they had actually dropped quite a few Infernal Hound Tooth.
This item was similar to the Inferno Pearl, and were materials that could raise the attributes of equipment. The only difference was that these teeth could raise the attributes of weapons.
After clearing up the battlefield, everyone continued advancing. After killing a few more Inferno Two-headed Hounds, they had finally arrived at the end of the Lava Road.
At the end of the road was a pitch black entrance to a palace. Viewing it from afar, the shape of the entrance appeared to be the mouth of a huge monster, appearing extremely terrifying.
There were no gates in front of the palace. From afar, the entrance was completely black, and nothing could be seen in it.
“Holy Magic!”
Fearless softly chanted, before throwing a bright and dazzling [Holy Sphere] into it.
The [Holy Sphere] slowly glided over to the palace and ended up getting swallowed by the entrance.
After looking at this strange-looking door, Ming Du asked in a confused manner, “What is this logic?”
Even though everyone had played > for so long, they had never seen a situation like this before.
“I’m not sure…” Fearless shook his head and said, “Does anyone know what kind of strange system setting is this?”
“This… could there be a BOSS laying an ambush in there?”
Upon seeing even Fearless appearing clueless about the situation, everyone immediately halted their steps and began throwing wild guesses.
After all, given how shameless the game developers were, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they actually did such a thing.
Everyone there were experts that did not feel fear in the face of a BOSS. However, it was obvious that this was a trap. They would be fools if they still decided to blindly walk in.
At the end of the day, it was Wang Yu who was still the bravest and fearless amongst them. Upon seeing everyone behaving cowardly, he stepped forward and courageously said, “I’ll head in and take a look!”
“Be careful! If there’s any unexpected situation, immediately come out of the palace!”
After Fearless gave his instructions, Wang Yu cautiously walked into the palace.
“Pata!”
Just when Wang Yu’s front leg stepped into the palace, a light sound instantly rang out. The initially pitch black palace instantly lit up.
“F*ck!” Upon seeing this, the others watching from afar spat a mouthful of blood.
Damn it, the game developers were too sinister. To think that he would design such a scene to scare off the players. If it wasn’t because Wang Yu was a new player and was fearless, this group of old veterans would have been too afraid to do anything.
Everyone cursed at the game developers while following Wang Yu’s figure. Shortly after, Wang Yu had arrived within the palace.
The interior of the palace wasn’t as extravagant as what everyone had initially expected it to be. On the contrary, it was extremely small and narrow.
In front of everyone stood a small door, and similar to the palace’s entrance, this was pitch black as well.
“Everyone be careful, don’t enter it.” Fearless frowned and reminded the rest.
Upon hearing Fearless’ word of caution, everyone replied in disdain, “Tsk! This must be some petty trick again!”
After having been played by the same trick previously, everyone naturally wouldn’t be played by the exact same one again.
Thus, everyone ignored Fearless’ warning and continued walking towards the small door.
“Ai…” Upon seeing everyone turning a deaf ear to his words, Fearless shook his head and tagged along.
“Honglong!”
However, the moment Fearless stepped into the door, a huge rock dropped right in front of the entrance, blocking it.
“Hahahaha! You won’t be able to escape this time round!”
At the same time, a strange laughter rang out from above the heads of everyone.

Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.
