“My… My staff!”
Seeing that Wang Yu ignored him and threw his weapon, Golden Sun Blossom did not know what to do. He just instinctively used his hand to catch the staff.
“??!!”
Golden Sun Blossom caught the staff and everyone’s eyes fell onto his hand and their faces changed.
Golden Sun Blossom’s staff was an Obsidian weapon so everyone could clearly see its exaggerated effects.
In this era where gold and silver weapons were the mainstream ones, obsidian items were rare. As for important things like a weapon, it was even rarer. Its market price was at least close to six digits in RMB.
As for why Korea also used the RMB, it was obviously because we won the trade war… So, everyone, stop harping on this issue.
.
This was a precious Obsidian weapon, not just any normal equipment…
As the enemy of the entire city, Wang Yu actually gave Golden Sun Blossom a precious obsidian weapon for free in front of everyone. This flirtish action made everyone suspicious.
There is a story about suspecting that a neighbour stole his axe in China. It actually described how people always let their imagination run wild.
Originally, Golden Time was already involved in collusion. They were accused of colluding with foreign countries but back then, it was just an accusation. Everyone was busy chasing Wang Yu so they let it go.
However, seeing this, everyone instantly became suspicious of Golden Time.
If Golden Time did not collude with a foreign country, why would they appear on the public board?
If Golden Time did not collude with a foreign country, why did Wang Yu just so happen to dash into their faction?
If Golden Time did not collude with a foreign country, why did Wang Yu give Golden Sun Blossom a precious Obsidian equipment for nothing?

The most suspicious thing was that Golden Sun Blossom intentionally made things easier for Wang Yu just now. It was obviously acting for a Guardian’s [Taunt] to be unable to control a Pugilist and was instead, thrown aside.
If Wang Yu did not throw Golden Sun Blossom this staff, everyone would have been bluffed by their seamless acting.
Based on all these hints, it all pointed to one conclusion – Golden Time’s players were whistleblowers! Spies! Betrayers!
…
Not only were other guilds’ players suspicious. Even Golden Time’s players were suspicious.
Of course, they did not suspect themselves and only suspected Golden Sun Blossom.
Golden Sun Blossom was no idiot so seeing everyone look at him unhappily, he reacted instantly and panickingly waved and said, “This… This staff is mine.”
“Yours?”
To be able to participate in fighting Wang Yu, these players were Golden Time’s best players so they were not unfamiliar with Golden Sun Blossom. Hearing what he said, they looked over.
Indeed, the staff was the one he used in the past.
“Why is your staff with him?” everyone asked as they did not understand.
“This…”
Golden Sun Blossom was speechless.
There was no way for him to answer this question honestly…
Could he tell everyone that Wang Yu took it as a hostage?
Why did he need a hostage?
Because he told him that there was the Holy Light in God’s Tower…
Damn it, if they pursued further, the accusations of her colluding with a foreign country would be certain. By then, even if he believed in himself, he would not be able to answer to his subordinates.
“He robbed me of it…”
After some thought, Golden Sun Blossom said with no other options.
“Ohh…”
Golden Time’s players nodded without saying if they trusted him or not. It was, of course, easier to deal with his own players than with outsiders.

However, other guilds’ players did not treat him as a friend like Golden Time’s players did.
“F*ck you, why would he send back a weapon he robbed? Do you think we are stupid? Attack him!”
Damn it, returning what they had was not something that ever happened in the game. If Golden Sun Blossom did not say so, things might have been better but everyone felt that their intelligence had been insulted so without another word, they began attacking Golden Time’s players.
To fight outsiders, they had to stabilise their internal affairs. Whistleblowers had to die!
In an instant, a sky full of attacks flew towards Golden Time’s players.
In one round, they killed a hundred of Golden Time’s players.
“Motherf*ckers!”
Golden Time’s players did not take it lying down. Being attacked for nothing made them angry so they quickly went into formation and began attacking the guilds which attacked them.
Although Golden Time had few players, their retaliation was quite strong. There were many players in other guilds but after all, they were not from the same one so, with each one’s intentions and a lack of order, both sides were at a stalemate after Golden Time retaliated.
…
Sometimes, once a war starts, it would be hard to stop. Even though Blossoming Moon knew what was going on, since they had already begun fighting, as a guild leader, he was still unable to stop the war.
After all, this was in a game and everyone wanted a quick settlement of revenge.
If you hit me, I’ll retaliate. No matter who was right or wrong, whoever was strong was right.
Golden Time’s players put up a good defence, making the other guilds more upset. Damn it, how dare you traitors retaliate? Call for backup!
With one call, their backup came.
They were all not small guilds. With one call, the players from these big guilds instantly came from wherever they were.
Of course, Golden Time’s players did not let the rest slaughter them. Only you guys know how to call for backup? Hence, Blossoming Moon sent an order in the group to fight back.
The small guilds around watching also seized the chance to participate to benefit from the situation.
It was a large-scale fight which involved big guilds’ main players… Randomly picking up any equipment would give them a lot of money. There was only one Holy Light so small guilds would never get it, so why not pick one or two equipment.
In an instant, it was a messy scene of everyone getting involved in one way or another. The scene was really pathetic.
As the instigator, Wang Yu seized the opportunity to escape. Watching the chaotic Starry Sky City, Wang Yu was clueless.
What just happened? Didn’t he just return a staff? Why did they begin fighting? It seemed like the righteous person had the help of God…
Shaking his head helplessly, Wang Yu turned and left Starry Sky City.
…
Starry Sky City’s guilds which had players who could fight were all there while the small guilds were there taking advantage so only remnants of independent players were left.
Initially, these people wanted to seize the chance to attack him but Wang Yu did not give them the chance. After leaving the battlefield, he used qinggong to quickly run out of Starry Sky City and entered a forest.

Demonizing Matters
A high fantasy drama about a young woman who finds out a demon secret. This secret sparks a growing conflict between demons and humans. While trying to save her own life and dealing with the unexpected consequences of her actions, she falls in love with a hated demon. We follow the drama of Lita, alongside a cast of several other POV characters, as she discovers secrets (both open and purposefully hidden), makes well intentioned but sometimes disastrous decisions, and encounters prejudices and truths. Demons may be evil… or not. Humans may be good… or not. God is aloof… or not. Publishing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is my first real work! Super excited to be publishing! I don’t spend a lot of time describing gore, sex, trauma or any other type of scene that would be labeled as mature. I've labeled the story as mature in every way more because I don't quite understand the standard and don't know if I've crossed the line at all (and I'd rather be safe than get my story rejected for under labeling ;)). Mostly I hint, start the scene then interrupt/fade out, and in general let the reader know it happens but without making it too explicit. (I’d love to hear how I did on this! And if it was still entertaining/informative without being traumatizing.) This is what I prefer to read myself so that’s what I write. I’m not apologizing. ;) If I mislabeled my mature content it was by accident. And, yes, the pacing was also on purpose. Beyond that, I welcome any feedback you want to give! Enjoy the story!
