"All of you should already be aware of how huge the Emerald Forest is. In this huge wilderness, we can easily assume that tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of Magical Beasts are living here. Therefore, once the Emerald Tree is destroyed, there would be no hope for the Emerald Tree Kingdom to survive from that many Magical Beasts," King Elfin the Fourth shook his head. He continued, "That's why we shouldn't let any of the members of the Naughty Elves organization win the Emerald Elven Battle Competition and give them the chance to go to the Emerald Tree,"

Leo nodded his head in understanding, but then he quickly asked, "I can understand how important the Emerald Tree is for the Emerald Tree Kingdom and why we should protect it to the best of our abilities. However, how can we find the members of the Naughty Elves organization in the Emerald Elven Battle Competition when even you and the people helping you can't find their whereabouts?"

The Mischievous Lion Guild might be considered strong, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is possible for them to do what is deemed impossible for the others. If the combined efforts of the Evergreen royal family, Elves Secret organization, and other trusted forces in the Emerald Tree Kingdom can't find them, let alone the Mischievous Lion Guild, which is only a single force. 

Although honestly, he could actually easily find out the whereabouts of the secret members of the Naughty Elves organization participating in the Emerald Elven Battle Competition by simply using his ability to see the String of Fate. But there would be a really huge problem once he does that; how should he explain to the Evergreen royal family and the others afterwards how exactly he had done such a thing?

That he simply looked into their String of Fates? 

However, that's impossible for his current cultivation level. Not to mention, normal people could only vaguely feel other people's Fate. He's the only one in the entire Celestial World aside from the God of Fate himself that can see clearly all the various different colors of the String of Fate, while only some certain people knew about the secret method to achieve a slightly similar effect, which is really dangerous to reveal to anyone nonetheless.

Claiming that he's a Special Mage? 

That would be the same as telling the Naughty Elves organization to come and hunt him down. After all, such a unique capability could be considered as one of the greatest threats for their organization. One such example of its threat is they could easily find out their important members masquerading as an influential person in an organization and the likes. 

Explain that he has found out information about them being secret members of the Naughty Elves organization? 

Saying so would need him to provide conclusive and irrefutable proof to back his claim and prove it is true. If he can't do that, then he would most likely be offending the group, Guild, organization, or whatsoever those participants in the Emerald Elven Battle Competition that he had killed belonged to.

If it was anyone else, they would definitely not care about such a problem, saying that whoever joins the Emerald Elven Battle Competition should be prepared to kill or be killed. 

However, he's different from them; he extremely hates dealing with the troublesome situation that will come after that, especially considering the fact that this is not purely his own problem, to begin with, thus there's absolutely no way that he would just simply accept to solely suffer the consequences of everyone's collective actions. 

He might be the chosen one of the God of Fate to save all the people living in the Celestial World from the Gods of the Celestial World. But he's not a saint, a hero, or whatsoever people will call him to be who is willing to just easily and simply suffer the consequences of all of their actions. 

Meaning to say, if it's possible for him not to kill his opponents in the Emerald Elven Battle Competition, then he would definitely not kill them so as to not cause himself a lot of trouble afterwards.

On the other hand, since the Evergreen royal family and their allies are only dealing with the problems caused by the Naughty Elves organization from the outside of the Emerald Elven Battle Competition, then people would naturally believe that they are from the Naughty Elves organization. 

As for him, he would need to provide proof, or else they won't believe his claim, or even if he could or someone else could successfully persuade them to believe, they would still ask for compensation from him.

In other words, no matter how he explains it, it would undoubtedly cause him a lot of trouble.

As such, the only way to solve this problem is that for King Elfin the Fourth and his allies to provide the method themselves so that they would be the ones dealing with all of the troublesome situations that will come afterward, not him who only assisted them.

What Leo simply wanted to say is, "You want me to help you with your problem, your Majesty? Okay! But I should not be the one who would pay the price after this,"

King Elfin the Fourth easily understood what Leo meant, so he replied, "Just kill whoever you want to kill, the Evergreen royal family will claim total responsibility,"

"Good to hear," Leo smiled mischievously. As long as he and the Mischievous Lion Guild only needs to deal with the Naughty Elves organization afterwards, he's willing to participate. After all, even if he doesn't choose to deal with the Naughty Elves organization today, a day would still eventually come where they would be the ones who would come to deal with him Since they would come anyway, they might as well be it today. As for the others, those would be the problem that the Evergreen royal family and its allies would be left to handle. 

"The Emerald Elven Battle Competition would consist of five games in total," King Elfin the Fourth began explaining about the Emerald Elven Battle Competition. 

"The first game would be a game of hide and seek. Each of those that are qualified to participate in the Emerald Elven Battle Competition can only send three people from their team to act as the hiders, while the seekers would be the soldiers from the Evergreen royal family. In this round, we will deliberately not look for your teams. So, you can let them kill whoever they think are the secret members of the Naughty Elves organization as they want," 

"The second game would be a game of escaping a maze. People would be put randomly inside a maze as they run around the place to find the exit before time runs out. Similar to the first game, there would be three people to be sent out from each of the teams. Unlike the first round though, we can no longer help you kill the participants. It would be entirely up to your team to look for people to kill. But, they don't need to worry about finding the way out as we would be secretly helping them to look for it,"

"The third game would be a game of climbing a stair. It isn't an ordinary stair though as this stair would consist of many different kinds of challenges to test each participant the higher they could climb, including a test of physical strength, stamina, willpower, and most importantly, Magic Power. Similar to the first and second round, there would also be three people to be sent out from each of the teams. In this round though, you don't need to kill anyone. It would be up to us to do that, your only job is to mark the people who you want us to kill. Of course, we don't want you to mark everyone as that would reveal our scheme and would also ruin the entire competition, so remind your team to not abuse the power we gave them,"

"The fourth game, which is the last game before the main event, would be a game of surviving. Everyone would be sent in a place with a limited size and space to move where each of the participants would be eliminating each other through different methods, not limited to killing until only ten participants would remain. But, unlike the previous three rounds, only one person from each of the teams could participate in this round. Better choose wisely though because the person your team chooses would also be the one to participate in the main event,"

"The last game, just like what the name Emerald Elven Battle Competition implies, is a battle competition for those in the top ten from the fourth game. You will be choosing slots to determine who you will be fighting against in a span of four rounds. In this round, your only goal would be to win the championship fair and square. If you can't win it though, then I suggest that you will help us choose the best candidate to win so that we can help them secretly, understand?" King Elfin the Fourth asked. 

"No problem," Leo replied.
