"Yes," Elvis nodded his head in confirmation. While Leo was touring Elmont and the others around the Smiling Lion Village, Iasiah, Nightingale, and Eilajah used a piece of flesh from one of those five 8-Star Storm Sparrows and feed it to a 1-Star Magical Beast to see whether they would react similarly to them. And just like what they have expected, the moment that 1-Star Magical Beast ate the flesh, it turned savage like a beast, finally confirming their assumption about the Savage Fox Potion.
"So, it was caused by a Savage Fox Potion?" Leo asked.
"Yes, one hundred percent caused by a Savage Fox Potion," Elvis said with certainty.
Instantly, Leo's face turned solemn as he ordered, "Begin investigating whether this was just an accident or someone had deliberately planned to do this to us. I'm suspecting that someone from Timor's Guild or one of Timon's men had caused this, so focus your investigation on them,"
"Aside from that, I also want you to send some men to investigate if there are some Magical Beasts who had intake a Savage Fox Potion roaming around freely in the Emerald Forest. Once they found one, kill on sight and be sure to bring back their carcasses. We can't allow a disaster caused by Savage Fox Potion from happening in the Emerald Tree Kingdom, understood?"
"Affirmative, Guild Leader Loki," Elvis nodded his head.
"Go and proceed with the plan. I will just look for Iasiah and the others personally to ask for the full information about those five 8-Star Storm Sparrows," Leo waved his hand to tell Elvis that he is free to go now.
Seeing Elvis leave, Leo then immediately made his way to the Magical Beasts Center.
It didn't take him that long to arrive at the Magical Beasts Center.
As he was making his way to the elevator, Iasiah and the others were coincidentally coming out of the elevator, obviously because they have already finished with their investigation.
"Guild Leader Loki," Iasiah, Nightingale, and Eilajah greeted in unison upon seeing Leo walking towards them.
"Come, follow me, let's find a good place to sit. I want to hear the result of your investigation," Leo said as he walked towards the office of Eilajah.
Iasiah, Nightingale, and Eilajah didn't bother asking anything and simply followed behind Leo.
Unlike Leo's office which is located at one of the hotels, Eilajah's office was in the Magical Beasts Center. This was evidently because having an office here is much better choice as it gives him easy and quick access to everything related to the Magical Beasts Center.

And whenever an accident happened or something important, Eilajah could immediately respond.
Arriving inside Eilajah's office, they became a bit surprised since they saw that Steve was actually present inside, currently reading a book related to Magical Beast Tamer.
Seeing Leo and the others arriving, Steve quickly stood up from his chair and greeted, "Guild Leader Loki, Executive Iasiah, Executive Nightingale, and Master Eilajah!"
"Master Eilajah?" Leo turned to look at Eilajah by his side, wanting to know when did Steve become his disciple.
"It was a long story. But in short, I saw that Steve was hardworking and has the aptitude to become a Magical Beast Tamer, hence I accepted him to become my first disciple," Eilajah didn't hesitate to explain.
Hearing Eilajah's explanation, Leo turned to look at Steve and said, "I hope that you will not waste this opportunity, Steve,"
Steve was just a Bandit Leader of a small bandit group when he first found him. He was weak and could only be treated as mere cannon fodder. But in spite of that, he was smart and a capable person, that's why he decided to accept Steve's request to follow and work for him.
Unfortunately, because Steve wasn't yet that capable to be useful in the Mischievous Lion Guild, he left him alone hoping that he will find a way to make himself useful. Of course, he wasn't treating Steve as if he was just a mere tool for him to use. However, he naturally can't also have someone weak and useless to continue working for him since that would only provide him with nothing. In fact, Steve might even just become his burden, and vice versa, if he had indeed chosen to allow him to keep on following him.
And seeing the current state of Steve right now, his decision in the past is now proven to be the correct choice. If Steve had still remained following him, then possibly he might not have achieved something similar to this. He would have still remained as a weak person and could only be treated as cannon fodder for the Mischievous Lion Guild.
"I will not forget this favor you have given me, Guild Leader Loki," Steve bowed his head ninety degrees to express his deep gratitude for Guild Leader Loki. He wasn't so stupid to not see that if it wasn't for Guild Leader Loki allowing him to decide freely on what to do, then he would definitely not become Master Eilajah's disciple.
"Anyways, we have something important to talk about here, so how about you continue your studying outside for a moment?" Leo asked with a smile.
"Yes, Guild Leader Loki," Steve nodded his head and quickly left his Master Eilajah's office.

As soon as Steve left, Leo and the others immediately started their discussion.
"There is bad news and good news in our investigation, so which one do you want to hear first?" Iasiah asked.
"Go with the good news first," Leo didn't waste any time deciding.
"The good news is, we know where those carcasses had come from because the people in-charged of the logistics at that time had apparently made a record of whoever had submitted a carcass to them," Iasiah said.
Hearing Iasiah's words, Leo immediately realized something important, making his heart feel a bit of pain. He said, "So the carcasses that you have fed to those five 8-Star Storm Sparrows were actually 7-Star Storm Sparrows?"
"Yeah..." Eilajah was the one to reply to Leo's question.
Leo could only choose to take a deep breath to calm himself. Those 7-Star Storm Sparrows were considered as a very useful and important material for making weapons and other items, yet they actually dared to use them to feed the five 8-Star Storm Sparrows who were destined to be slaughtered? How unbelievable! Just how stupid... No, since it was Eilajah who had chosen those 7-Star carcasses, then it could only be said that just how clumsy was he to not think of that?!
Nevertheless, it was exactly because of Eilajah's clumsiness why this conspiracy of the Naughty Elves organization was revealed to them.
Still, it can't stop his painfully bleeding heart.
Shaking his head to put such a thought to the back of his head, Leo asked, "And the bad news is?"
"It was handed by," Iasiah pointed his finger to himself and Nightingale, "The two of us,"
"It is impossible for the two of you to betray me, so I don't believe that you have caused this to happen," Leo shrugged his shoulder off to express that he doesn't care if it was the two of them who had submitted those carcasses. The important problem here was who gave those 7-Star Storm Sparrows a Savage Fox Potion.
"That is also what we are really confused about as well," Iasiah nodded his head in agreement to what Leo had just said, he continued, "We definitely won't betray you. So, how exactly did those 7-Star Storm Sparrows that we have fed to those five 8-Star Storm Sparrows intake a Savage Fox Potion?"
"No one else had touched those carcasses aside from us, well it was supposedly only Nightingale, but since he had given it to me first before submitting it, so I became included as well, and also the logistic personnel who had received them, which is a member of the Mischievous Lion Guild,"
Hearing Iasiah's words, Leo can't help shaking his head. It isn't really that difficult to guess what had most likely happened. He asked, "Do you remember that there were other people secretly sneaking in the battlefield at that time to try and steal some carcasses of Storm Sparrows from us?"
"Yes, but fortunately, I was able to stop those members from the Night Ear Guild with the help of Frost Lion team from successfully sneaking in our formation," Iasiah replied.
"So here is the question; why exactly were those people thinking of trying to steal some carcasses of Storm Sparrows from us?" Leo followed up with another question.
"Because-" Iasiah wanted to explain something, but a sudden realization quickly hit his mind, "We decided to leave those carcasses by the side for the meantime and had only decided to retrieve them once the battle was finally over, which is the perfect opportunity for someone to secretly touch those carcasses without any people knowing anything about it,"
"Exactly," Leo snapped his finger, before he continued, "So, it should be at that moment when someone had secretly put a Savage Fox Potion inside those 7-Star Storm Sparrows' carcasses,"
Iasiah closed his mouth, unable to make a response.
"But how can they be so sure that we will be feeding those 7-Star Storm Sparrows to the 8-Star Storm Sparrows... No, the correct question here is, how exactly did they know that we will be capturing those five 8-Star Storm Sparrows?" Nightingale quickly joined as he can't help but ask. The capturing of those 8-Star Storm Sparrows was only thought by Charlotte and the others during the battle, not before the battle had commenced. So, there is practically no way for anyone to prepare a scheme beforehand.
"No one from the Mischievous Lion Guild had definitely betrayed us," Leo said confidently. Well, after all, none of the members of the Mischievous Lion Guild had a black-colored String of Fate attached to him, at least at this point of time, which means to say that there is no traitor amongst them yet. Clicking his tongue, he said, "It seems like we have to wait until Elvis is done with his investigation,"
"We are really sorry for our incapability, Guild Leader Loki," Iasiah, Nightingale, and Eilajah bowed their heads in unison.
"No, it is fine," Leo shook his head, he continued, "I really can't blame you for this. We still lack enough evidence to come to a conclusion. So, let's end this discussion today,"
"Yes, Guild Leader Loki,"

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
