Not long after Leo and the others finished planning, the barrier pushing the avalanche finally came to a stop precisely after covering thirty square kilometers of area in the map, thus leaving only thirty-five square kilometers of area.
The avalanche soon gushed forth for around ten minutes or so before it eventually started calming down.
Contrary to what Leo and the other had expected before, the avalanche only covered an extra ten square kilometers of area. It was because the avalanche was carrying various kinds of debris of different sizes, which caused the avalanche to be unable to move that far as those debris have constantly made some rough walls that hold the snow in one place and slow the rest down the way.
Leo and the others aren't really that knowledgeable when it comes to snowy terrain, just like what they have mentioned before. As such, it was only natural for their expectations to be so far off from the actual result.
After waiting for a bit to confirm that the snowy mountain created by the avalanche had calmed down, Leo turned to look at Elmont and Osborne as he informed them, "It's time for us to hide,"
With that being said, Leo and the others started climbing up the snowy mountain in a careful and cautious manner in order for them to avoid any accidents from happening. After all, the avalanche has ended not so long ago, so the snowy mountain is not yet considered really safe for them to climb.
Regardless of that, climbing up the snowy mountain was what they planned to do from the start, as this place would undoubtedly be the safest area for them to hide. They could already expect that no other players would try to climb this mountain due to the fact that it is troublesome to do so and that they have other important things to do like looking for their allies and confirming the exact number of remaining players in the Survival Games.

Leo and the others used the ropes and grappling hooks to climb up the snowy mountain as they slowly made their way up to the top. Along the way, they sometimes use the debris they stumble upon to hold their weight down while making their way up or to use it to pull themselves upward.
Also, in preparation for the time when they need to go down the snowy mountain due to the barrier reducing the size of the map once again, they tied a rope and hide them in inconspicuous places, which they would use later on to go from the snowy mountain down easily.
They have many ropes inside their respective Storage Rings already, so there was no problem of running out of it anytime soon.
After ten minutes or so of traversing the snowy mountain, Leo and the others finally arrived at the location good enough for them to see the center of the map and the areas close to the northwest where they are located right now, specifically both the north and west regions of the map.
As soon as they arrived and looked in front of them, they immediately noticed that all the players had now revealed themselves and were currently observing each and everyone's actions.
Not only that, but all the players seem to have also already gathered together along with their respective allies and positioned themselves in places that give them advantages for the moment that everything would finally go down for the worst.
"Oh, it seems like those alliances plan to settle down everything in an open and imposing manner instead of hiding and to do things in secret," Leo said, a bit intrigued by the scene he was looking at.
"Yeah, but also look at that!" Elmont said as he pointed at the alliances with the smallest number of players remaining and continued, "Those small alliances are gathered together in order to increase their number of players,"

"What a smart move," Osborne complimented. But then he quickly added, "Though it seems like they have not entirely made their situation really better yet, as those big alliances have also formed a temporary alliance with each other and aim to eliminate the small alliances first,"
"Things have thoroughly developed more than what we have expected," Leo really can't wait to see how the battle of alliances would surprise them.
"Let's stop talking and see how things would develop from here," Elmont also has the same thoughts as Leo.
"Understood," Osborne nodded his head in affirmation.
.....
At this moment, a total of three temporary alliances has been formed by the twenty players in the scene.
The first and most powerful alliance has a total of nine players, which are from the alliance of the top 1 to top 10, and top 11 to top 20. Their leaders are Edgar Pierce, Eme Clarity, and Eben Nero, respectively representing the teams from the Pierce Noble Household, Clarity Noble Household, and Nero Noble Household, specifically the three major Noble Households in the Emerald Tree Kingdom.
The second alliance has a total of seven players, which are from the alliance of the top 21 to top 30, top 31 to top 40, and top 41 to top 50. Their leaders are a person of the Elf race, Emil, a person of the Dwarf race, Dominic, and a person from the Fairy race, Faye, all three of them representing the major independent Guilds in the Emerald Tree Kingdom, albeit excluding the Red Fist Guild, specifically they are the Cross Blade Guild, Flying Hammer Guild, and Light Magic Guild.
Lastly, the weakest alliance merely has a total of four players, which respectively belong to those alliances that have been destroyed during the first game, second game, and third game of the Emerald Elven Battle Competition, and they have no leader to represent them at all. In other words, the current circumstances have forced them to form an alliance so as to not become the primary target.
Unfortunately for the weakest alliance, though, they still stand the lowest chance to possibly win this battle of alliances even after gathering together.
Nevertheless, the four players of the weakest alliance are not going to give up that easily without a fight. There is a saying that they are familiar with, "A chance is still considered a chance no matter how small it is!" This means to say that as long as things have not ended yet, then there is no telling for certain yet whether they have really lost the fight or not.

Now she's not only far from home, she's trapped inside a cursed body. The curse may have caught her, but she certainly wouldn't let it or anyone else tell her how she has to live. It's not a hero that you have to watch out for, it's the practical person when you're in the way of their freedom. Hell is a place for the organised torment of the guilty in life while the Abyss is its sociopathic disorganised cousin. There’s darkness in the Abyss, and darkness within her that might draw it in. But she'll need to risk its strength, for to get out, she'll need to become strong enough to descend to its deepest reaches. Yet it's in those places that the most dangerous secrets lie in wait. These aren’t the type of secrets that are valuable, or that anyone wants to be found. These secrets destroy. Image by Comfreak from Pixabay This is my first story, and a work in progress. Feel free to point out any errors, and I will gladly fix them. The ending and the major plot points are all planned out. Julia's story is more of a slow burn, and she won't always be in trouble. There will be breathers between the action. Though the story is about Julia, she is not the only force in play. Her actions will affect others, and the actions of others will affect her as well. How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.

Binary of Life and Death
Monsters, gold, chaos, glory, adventure, what more could attract two of the greatest players of all time to Sugarea, the most popular MMORPG of its time. But everyone makes errors, and unfortunate for these two brilliant players, they have made the grave mistake of not actually sleeping like normal humans and missed out on the very moment the new Dark Legion update would take effect. Or did they? They wake in what seems familiar yet not, but they soon realize their predicament. They are inside their game avatar's bodies! A half-Demon and a Dragonoid are now struggling with more than just power, these two men have to find their new purpose and calling in a completely different world. Will they concur it like ordinary land or will they enlighten the planet into equality? Do figures pull strings in the dark or is everything open to the public eye? Nothing is certain except the unknown, and nothing is ever as it seems... This is an Isekai story, as such, some parts may sound either cliché or similar to others, but I assure you, I tried to prevent that. To make it known, I took quite a lot of inspiration from the light novel/anime Overlord, but that doesn't mean it's a direct rip-off of it. You'll find there to be quite the amount of differences. Just a little heads up as well, you should expect irregular uploads, as it takes me a long time to write each chapter. I am currently trying for once every other week on Sundays around 10:00 A.M. Chapters are usually 7k words and up, with the longest (chapter 3) being 10.3k words. So, if you like to sit down and read a long chapter every two weeks at 10:00 A.M. EST on Sundays, then you can waste your time here! Small disclaimer: Profanity is far and few between, and mostly used by side characters, rarely the main character. When something with gore happens, I describe to the best of my ability, which will only get better the longer I write this... :) Small cuts between perspectives happen, and can hide what some characters do, which will be revealed in future chapters, I'm not that lazy... all the time... There are some parts that are long blocks of text, most, if not all, of them, are characters talking, but I try not to info dump. I know one of the tags says "Psychological", and for the most part, it is, but it's not as prominent as other stories, instead, it's more hidden and scattered, but I did try to make the pieces I did reveal all fit together. Cover art is bound to be changed when I have a good picture to use, so the Yin-Yang is a placeholder for now unless yall wanna gimme something to use *wink wink nudge nudge*. So yeah, please give it a try, as I have nothing better to do with my life, and I am banking solely off of a career in literature and am hoping that I can create a story that can actually be called something more than a child's imagination running wild. The eventual and inevitable end to the story won't be for a long while, at least till chapter 40 or so. I have thought long and hard about the message and themes at play, so I hope you, the reader (who has some amazing hair btw), can enjoy and partake on this adventure with me into my dark empty pit of an imagination.

Necro-Merchant
What up, it is zewen senpai here, with the first translated work I am attempting. It is a translation of a Chinese online novel named "陰商" (Ying Shang, or Dark Merchant). And looking at the context the story and the multi-meaning of the character "陰," I decided to name it the Necro-Merchant instead. Written by 咸魚君 (Xianyujun) or Mr.Salty Fish in English, the story is about a kid that started selling some eerie items with his cousin, because we be like that in China. Either way, enjoy the story and have a gud day.
