Instructor Mei Lan took a peek at Tang Li Xue from the corner of her eyes. She immediately realized from Tang Li Xue's position in Teacher Li Wei's embrace and her pitiful stare that their first plan had already failed.

'Sigh... I know it will not be so easy. Plan B then!' Instructor Mei Lan gritted her teeth and started to howl loudly as if she was being possessed by the evil spirit.

An hour ago at Tang Li Xue's living room...

"Acting as if you are being possessed by the powerful evil spirit?" Tang Li Xue widened her topaz blue eyes in surprise.

"Yes, we have no choice if our first plan failed. Sigh... I do not want to do this too, but you said, only you can sense that egg location and retrieve it back along with its evil presence and immense pressure." Instructor Mei Lan said in frustration while keep rubbing her forehead with her slender fingers.

"But... Instructor Mei Lan... what if the higher-ups suspected you later?" Tang Li Xue asked with a tone full of worry.

Instructor Mei Lan waved her palm signaled Tang Li Xue not to worry and explained: "You do not need to worry about me. Both of my parents are also higher-ups in Myriad Foxes Academy of Lightwind Continent Branch here. The other higher-ups will probably decide to only quarantine and inspect me closely for some time before releasing me. They will never dare to do anything to me."

Instructor Mei Lan stared at Tang Li Xue with a solemn expression and continued: "But you are different! You have no strong backing like me in Myriad Foxes Academy. It will be your dead end if the higher-ups are suspecting you in cahoots with evil being from the Undead Race. They would probably kill you on the spot without even bothering to inspect you."

"Instructor Lan... but... there is no need for you to go this far. I... I can stealthy go there by myself and retrieve the egg." Tang Li Xue's eyes reddened. She felt really touched by Instructor Mei Lan's sacrifice and care for her.

Instructor Mei Lan rolled her eyes and replied: "You think the higher-ups are that fool? Even I can see through your stealth-type divine ability let alone them! Once they caught you there, your life will definitely over!"

"But..." Tang Li Xue murmured while trying to think of another way out.

"There is no but! You only need to do what I told you. I will act as if I am being possessed by an evil being, and you will take that chance to retrieve that egg." Instructor Mei Lan interrupted Tang Li Xue's words.

"All of the higher-ups including my father will be there, so they could definitely restrain me in a few seconds. You must take this chance when everyone's attention is focusing on me to take that egg back and also remember to wait for the right timing before retrieving that egg!" Instructor Mei Lan continued to explain her plan once again.

Actually, Instructor Mei Lan has many other plans in her mind, and this 'possessed' plan was the most stupid one among all of her plans. But this 'possessed' plan also the one which carried the least risk for any higher-ups to suspect Tang Li Xue.

Even if the higher-ups interrogated Instructor Mei Lan later, she could easily lie her way out by saying she could not remember anything when she was being possessed by the evil being.

Teacher Li Wei injected his healing power into Tang Li Xue's furry body to heal her wound from Instructor Mei Lan's [Heavenly Sound] sudden attack.

"GGGGRRRRRR~~!!!" Instructor Mei Lan growled menacingly at them. Her pair of eyes turned completely red like blood, and she looked extremely intimidating in her ox-sized fox form.

Instructor Mei Lan's acting was so convincing if Tang Li Xue did not know that Instructor Mei Lan was only acting beforehand, she would probably think that Instructor Mei Lan was really possessed by a powerful evil spirit now.

"Lan'er? What are you..." Councillor Junjie tried to approach Instructor Mei Lan full of worry.

Tang Li Xue took this chance to wiggle out from Teacher Li Wei's embrace and jumped down to the ground.

Tang Li Xue planned to silently retrieve the egg back into her system inventory, but she could not take her eyes off from the scene in front of her.

Tang Li Xue took a peek at the ethereal black fox avatar's tails and exclaimed in shock: 'Four tails! So powerful! Is this the Spirit Beast Form? Oh crap, it seems Instructor Lan could not hold it any longer! I have no more time to waste! I must hurry!'

Tang Li Xue did not want Teacher Li Wei to get in her way again, so she silently activated her [Ethereal Form] and her furry figure vanished into thin air.

Just like what Instructor Mei Lan has predicted, no one here has any time to pay any attention to the vanishing Tang Li Xue when Instructor Mei Lan was rampaging around and attacking everybody.

Instructor Mei Lan roared loudly again while using her [Demonic Tune] and [Heavenly Sound] at the same time at full power.

The astounding destructive power of sound was spreading out made the extremely hard tiles below her feet and everything around her shredded into dust.

Unfortunately, even the powerful attack at that scale still failed to touch Councillor Junjie, who currently stood straight at the center of the ethereal black fox avatar.

Councillor Junjie stretched out his right hand towards Instructor Mei Lan, and his ethereal black fox avatar also followed his movement then stretched out his right paw towards Instructor Mei Lan.

Instructor Mei Lan growled and wanted to teleport away using her skill to dodge, but she could not even move any of her muscles at all as if the ethereal black fox avatar locked the space around her using its power of law!

The giant paw of the ethereal black fox avatar pinned down Instructor Mei Lan's furry figure without leaving her any room for struggling.

"Young Master Li! Can you please check what happens to Lan'er and see if you can treat her back to normal?" Councillor Junjie asked Teacher Li Wei with an anxious tone.

Teacher Li Wei nodded to Councillor Junjie with a solemn expression and carefully approached Instructor Mei Lan.

While Tang Li Xue already arrived beside the egg and ready to retrieve back the egg into her system inventory since a half-second ago, but she was still waiting patiently for the right timing.

Teacher Li Wei touched Instructor Mei Lan's forehead, and the pure milky white light shone from his palm.

Tang Li Xue immediately touched the egg with her paw and stored it in her system inventory made the thick black miasma and overwhelming pressure inside the auction house completely vanished in an instant.

Instructor Mei Lan, Councillor Junjie, Teacher Li Wei, and the others felt really comfortable as if the heavy mountain has been lifted off from their shoulders.

"The miasma and pressure have vanished?"

"It's already over just like that?"

"Maybe the evil creature is scared of us after watching Old Jun's power and decided to hide for now! We cannot let our guard down yet!"

"So what should we do now? Continue our investigation to find the clue about that evil creature whereabouts?"

Councillor Junjie's team started to discuss noisily with each other while Councillor Junjie himself canceled his ethereal black fox avatar and approached Instructor Mei Lan to check her condition.

"Thank you very much to Young Master Li for helping our family, Lan'er. Your purification and healing type divine abilities are astounding as always!" Councillor Junjie sighed in relief after he made sure that Instructor Mei Lan was alright and thanked Teacher Li Wei politely.

Teacher Li Wei was still in deep thought. He quickly shook his head and quickly explained: "It's not me. In fact, I did not detect any evil presence from Miss Lan at all previously. I only cast a healing spell to heal her wounds before."

"Eh? Then how could..." Councillor Junjie frowned deeply and wanted to ask back, but he was interrupted by someone's shout.

"Kid, the first thing for you to remember is to never take that thing out again except in your room since there is a spatial formation there that separates the house inside the room with space outside. Second, only the two of us could know about this thing, so never tell the third person. Lastly, if you dare to lose that thing again, I will make sure to skin you alive!" Instructor Mei Lan warned Tang Li Xue with a stern tone using her [Telepathy].

Instructor Mei Lan and Tang Li Xue thought this problem will end here, but they will never guess that this problem will blow out and create a bigger problem for them in the near future.
