《The Guardians' Throne - The First Magic Swordsman 》Chapter 150: Ammo destruction

"Do you have anything against your arrows? Why do you keep destroying them?" Zaos asked.
Ameria kept just destroying arrows she used with new arrows for some reason. There was no point in doing that since she already proved that her aim was superb. Still, she kept doing anyway as if that was the only way she could relieve her stress. Regardless, she ignored Zaos again.
"Well, it is good that your family can afford to pay you to destroy arrows like this," Zaos said.
"When are you going to apologize?" Drannor asked while whispering.
This time, Zaos ignored Drannor. The last thing he wanted was to hear what a guy who can't keep his mouth shut has to say. In any case, since Ameria tried to ignore him, Zaos decided to mess with her a little. When she readied her next five arrows, Zaos pointed his right hand toward the target. When she fired the first arrow, Zaos fired an Earth Bullet, and both of them hit the bull's eye simultaneously.
"What do you want?" Ameria finally asked.
"I came to apologize and since you are wasting money destroying that, I might as well teach you how to fire projectiles without having to spend money like this," Zaos said.
"Don't wanna," Ameria said.
"Just like I told, you still are the spoiled princess," Zaos said. "What do you want, Ameria? Is all this just because you didn't receive letters from me?"
"No, I am acting like this because we aren't friends," Ameria said. "If we were, you would have sent some letters."
"You said that I was wrong and you still talk about the letters," Zaos said and then laughed.
"Whatever, I don't really care," Ameria said.
"Boy… puberty sure hit you hard," Zaos said.

"What is puberty?" Drannor asked.
"Shut up, Drannor," Zaos said. "Do you want to hear that badly about what happened to me while I was in the north?"
"I already know what happened, Drannor told me everything," Ameria said.
"Yeah, right," Zaos said. "You sure know everything because he was in my squad, he sure knows everything because we saw each other pretty much every day, right? Tell her about how often we meet in the base."
"In the last two years? Once a month, I guess," Drannor said.
Ameria was trying to keep her cool, trying not to be interested in the subject, but she obviously was. In the end, that was something she didn't know. Zaos sighed because she was just a kid who wanted to feel closer to her friends who were away. Since she was a princess, she had duties, and she couldn't fail them because the country needed her and will need much more in the future.
"I will ask for the last time, do you want to hear what happened from my perspective?" Zaos asked.
"… I want," Ameria replied.
"Say pretty please," Zaos said.
Ameria glared at him, but in the end, that only made Zaos laugh a little more. Once again, he confirmed that she was just a difficult kid who had a sheltered life but wanted much more than that.
"All right, sorry, my bad," Zaos shrugged. "I went a little too far now. Well, let's sit down because this will take a while."
In the end, even Drannor was a bit interested since Zaos didn't share much information with him. Not only were they busy with their squads, they rarely had time to talk alone due to their duties in the northern base.

Although Zaos had planned to only tell some details about the mission and skip the gory part, he still had to spend the whole afternoon and even some part of the evening talking about those three years. Zaos didn't like talking all that much, so when it ended, Zaos was so thirsty that he almost tried to drink water by using a Water Sword. That probably wasn't safe…
Regardless, from Zaos's perspective, his life in the northern base was pretty boring, with the exception of a few rare moments. Still, those two paid attention to all his words and even asked questions about the things he learned by himself while he was developing his own fighting style. Again, Zaos wasn't someone who liked to talk, so they used that moment to make him spit it out everything.
"All right, this was everything," Zaos said and then got up. "I am hungry so I am going home."
"Thanks for sharing those stories, Zaos," Ameria finally said something without a frown on her forehead. "You can come tomorrow after lunch; it is the usual time I train with the bow."
"For what?" Zaos asked.
"You said you would teach me how to use magic with a bow," Ameria said.
"That was before I had to stay here for four hours giving a report about my last three years," Zaos said.
"So, you are going to break your promise?" Ameria said. "I can't believe you."
"I didn't promise anything…" Zaos said and then sighed. "Well, whatever. I guess I can throw away one hour of my time everyday to teach you one thing or other. Speaking of which, why didn't you learn magic at magic school?"
"I went, but since it was pretty boring and the teachers wanted to teach me only the boring stuff, I gave up on it," Ameria said. "Anyway, see you tomorrow. Don't be late."
"… Ask your father if you can learn from me before anything," Zaos said after sighing.
It seemed that Zaos put himself in a mess again… unfortunately, he couldn't give up on it anymore. After he crossed the gate of the castle, Zaos and Drannor parted ways and went to their homes. Zaos was exhausted, even more than the days he spent hours and hours swinging that massive sword that he just gained… still, he wasn't that worried about teaching magic to someone else because he already taught Tyra. Things should be easier this time, and, in the end, he still needed to make up for it with Ameria.

His invincible soul now unchained, surprises await him as he begins his new jouney in an unknown land. I'm just writing this for fun, but i'll never drop it. This won't be something short, as I have the very long term in mind, but I'm a total noob to writing, so I most likely won't release chapters very often, at least until I really get the hang of it. But, the chapters will always be several thousand words long. At the minimum 2k, maximum like 6k... Pretty big variations, sorry. If you like it, great. If you don't, that's understandable. Regardless, if you have a read, I'd appreciate feedback for areas you think I should improve on, whether it's the use of some words or how I should write something or WHATEVER. I'm open to anything, good or bad, because with your help, it'll help make this story better. **DISCLAIMER** So you don't waste your time, I want to let you know what you're getting into, because I like knowing ahead of time before I read something. This might appear like a Xianxia novel, but it's not. It only starts that way. This is a western fantasy world and setting that many of you are familiar with. The beginning chapters might be a bit of an info dump. Some of it might seems superfluous, but a lot of information is relevant to the story. The first few chapters might also seem rushed, but I'll try to keep it exclusive to those. This is a cliche, OP MC story with the typical harem, but other than the quick start, everything else will be gradual. There will be romance, and probably many moments at that, but don't expect anything TOO detailed. If you want something really steamy, look elsewhere. References and throwbacks to stuff most likely. The setting won't be really dark or really light. Middleground, I guess. The MC is far from a young kid, but he won't totally reflect his age. I don't plan on discarding info, abilities or characters that you KNOW should come back and be around. I see it a lot and it sort of bugs me haha... but I could have oversights, I dunno. As I said, I'm a noob. That's it, really. If you're interested, welcome to my world!
