(TN: Orthodox Church and Church of righteous gods is same thing so don't be confused, same for Orthodox gods and Righteous gods.
"Unlike what I thought, this group shows up here as a mere 'gathering'?"
Jenkins nodded, reaching out and tapping his temple to turn on the [Eye of reality], this action scared the five people into taking a silent step back.
"I need to confirm your spiritual emblems first."
"Can do."
Mr. Hood nodded, and in Jenkins' vision, five dots of light, one white, two red and two yellow, floated in front of him. In the next instant, the red dot of light in the centre suddenly brightened, while a pattern of a red winged bird emerged in front of Mr Hood.
It was only a phantom, and the design was no more than the size of a palm.
The other four also stepped forward, just as Mr. Hood had done, and the dot of light in front of everyone lit up . A red cloud, a yellow five-hole piccolo, a yellow square hexagon and a green arm pattern then appeared in the air.
"Okay."
Jenkins said, looking to his own point of light. But there was a serious problem, the spot that could be called the 'centre' was occupied by both green and purple.
"Could this be because I've consumed a fragment of my body's original owner's soul?"
He remembered Barnard's mention of the "soul trait" ability, and it seemed like a good guess.
After a brief moment of reflection, he decided to try the purple dot of light. The reason for this was that Barnard knew he had the green ability and he was reluctant to reveal his identity.
Turning his gaze to the point of light, he imagined some kind of invisible substance flowing through his body, suddenly a cool stream of air appeared smoothly and plunged straight into the point of light in front of him.

A purple pentagram flickered in the air for a moment before finally disappearing.
"Purple?"
A shrill female voice said suspiciously, "White foundation, red martial arts, yellow spells, gold divine magic, what type of ability is purple?"
"Don't pry into other people's privacy!"
Mr. Hood warned her, and the woman immediately nodded.
"There is no such mark on the wanted list."
"I've never heard of the purple power."
"It's not a wanted man near Nolan City."
"There are no bad guys with a pentagram for a seal."
Several people turned their heads at the same time to look at the person who had uttered the last words, she was the shrill female voice from earlier.
"Your words reveal the fact that you believe in the Lady [of Mysteries and Rituals]."
Mr. Hood warned.
Lady of [Mystery and Ritual] Jenkins had not heard about her but thought that it would be a pseudo-god. In this world, only the gods that corresponded to the twelve months of the year could be called proper gods, the rest were pseudo-gods.
But from memory, the Church of the Righteous God treats the pseudo-gods ambiguously, they will not expel, arrest or harm the followers of the pseudo-gods, they will not openly oppose the beliefs of the pseudo-gods, but they also will not declare anything related to them, neither allow the pseudo-gods to preach their religion in public, nor allow them to establish their own churches ......
In other words, as long as the followers of the pseudo-gods do not engage in any evil religious rituals, do not preach doctrines that are wrong with the mainstream of society, do not engage in subversive activities and develop honestly and privately, the Orthodox church treats them like air.
What is even stranger is that even the followers of pseudo- gods themselves refer to the gods they believe in as "false gods" ...... The water in this world seems pretty deep. (TN: Deep water means a complex situation.)

"Wasn't my faith in a lady revealed a long time ago? But that's not enough for you to know my identity."
"Now there is a stranger ......"
The five men looked at Jenkins again.
"Can I be trusted now?"
He asked.
"Yes, but only temporarily, if you tried anything funny, we will immediately report you to the Church of the Righteous God."
It's obvious that you're the ones holding secret gatherings but why am I the one being threatened ?
The congregation retrieved their marks and gathered together again as Mr. Hood introduced himself to Jenkins.
"Again, our gatherings are not against the law, it's simply to protect our secrets. There are many more such gatherings within the city of Nolan! So even if you go to the government and call the police or the church and report it, it won't help! The number of enchanters are already small, and the number of benefactors who believe in false gods is even smaller. We meet merely to exchange information or conduct small transactions, not something that goes against the law or morality."
He emphasised his legality several times with this sentence, but was it fine for five people with concealed identities to gather together in such a remote place so late at night?
"I understand, no need to explain. False god followers are not accepted by the mainstream of society in the first place, we're just silently resisting against authority."
He spoke up and interrupted Mr. Hood.
"Yes, silently resisting against authority, I like your description. Now, please give yourself a name to make it easier for us to address each other."
He pointed to the other four, "I'm Mr. Hood, the one with the pointy voice is Mr. Magic, the one to your right is Mr. Black Cat, the one between us is Mr. Birchwood, and this one is Mr. White Spirit. By the way, the one who ran away is Mr. Dagger, damn, I should have known that people with names like that would not be nice!"
It was clear that two of the voices were female, but they were both addressed as Mr.
"Mr. Candle."
Jenkins said, simply because he was holding a candle in his hand.
"Very well, Mr. Candle, welcome, you have gained our trust for now. So let the meeting begin."
Jenkins was silent, intent on seeing what this "legitimate" gathering was all about.
The crowd stepped over the trash and moved into the shadows of the moonlight to prevent those with the ability of [Darkness and Stealth] from spotting the trail through the moonlight.
"As a rule, each person will say one recent message. I'll start, the [Death and End] church sacrificed a level 4 enchanter at the Nolan 5th public hospital, don't go near there if it's not necessary."
No one asked what this was about, Jenkins noted down the word "level 4" in his mind, and the next sharp-voiced Mr. Magic said.
"There's a big problem on a small island near Nolan City, it's suspected that the [Trickster] is out of control and at least three battle squads from the [Storm Lord]'s church have set off."
"Is the information correct?"
Mr.White spirit asked in a female voice.
"Isn't it the rule here that you can only say those things that you are 100 percent sure of?"
Mr. White Spirit's hooded head nodded slightly a few times before saying, "Tomorrow at midnight a shipment of antiquities smuggled from the sea will arrive in Nolan, I don't know exactly where it will disembark, but that shipment contains both [Mysterious] and [Transcendental] objects . The following information is uncertain, but there might also be a [Enchantment]. If you guys are well-connected and daring enough, you should be able to find some good stuff on the black market these days."
"[Enchantment]?"
(TN: Lol, feels a bit familiar?)
