In 5 minutes Grace got much better. But her head was hurting like a migraine, she looked disorganised and her hair was a mess. She looked around herself and the first thing she noticed was Magnus, and then the Royal Princess in Ragnar's clutches. It was weird to see a 23-year-old woman being handled like a doll by a 13-year-old.

"Mum, are you okay? Why did you come here?" Magnus asked her calmly.

Grace gathered herself, "Hmm? I... I was at the office and she came to invite me. Everyone recognised her and gathered around us. I couldn't say no to her in the crowd."

Magnus looked at the royal princess with cold eyes and said to his mother, "Do you know, mum, she was just trying to take pictures of you here after inviting a naked man. And, she is also the one behind all the false news about you and dad circulating in the newspapers and television these days. She planned all this."

Anne's face paled in fright. Magnus scoffed, "What? You thought I would never know? I had already told the queen but she failed to respond in time. If I had not arrived here in time, god knows how you would have died."

He walked to her and tightly grabbed her throat, she was already kneeling in front of Ragnar, "Know this, no matter what you do, I will sit on the throne, and before that, your lives will never be safe. You can come after me all you want, but my family is my bottom line."

Ragnar pulled her hair more and made her squeal in pain and said, "And remember, the moment you dare touch our family, is the moment you forfeit your life. And we are already inducted into the royal family, so if you die, no one will even care."

Grace, for the first time, saw her two sons acting like this. They always showed her their sweet or sad side. But she was for the first time seeing anger. But even if she thought what they said was too much, she couldn't bring herself to stop them, because she realised that they were angry for her. And in all honesty, she was very scared, thinking what would have happened if Magnus and Ragnar had not come in time.

~They have... grown up so much and I didn't even notice...~ She thought and felt sad. She failed to see their subtle changes and still thought they were like the old naive little angels.

"Why did she do it?" Grace asked.

"Who knows, jealousy, entitlement or insecurity? Her boyfriend is pretty influential, she used him to push the narrative." Magnus revealed.

"Let's go home, mum. Dad has probably returned." He helped Grace stand up.

"Ragnar, go with mum. I will go with this princess and meet the queen to decide on her punishment." Magnus decided.

Ragnar nodded and helped Grace up. He called George and they popped back home. Magnus then called Dobby.

"Obliviate the photographer and the male stripper quickly and then return here." He ordered him.

He made the royal princess stand up. "Save the words for later. How did you even think it would be all right to mess with your own family? Is your brain too weak to comprehend that whatever damage comes to my family will extend to the rest of the royal family too? Huh... royals like you're the reason why the image of monarchy is declining these days."

*POP*

"Dobby has finished, sir." Dobby returned. He knew he did something wrong today and failed to protect Grace. He was feeling guilty and wanted to get punished. But he was ordered not to ever ask for punishment. Now, only George will teach him what he did wrong today.

"Take us to the Buckingham Palace, directly into my room," Magnus instructed him.

He instantly arrived in the palace and from there headed straight to the Queen's office. He just entered and waited for the queen to arrive. She was in the castle right now as there was just too much work. Otherwise, she would be in some holiday castle right now.

The ticking clock ate away the silence in the room. But it was making the princess more nervous and she was silently praying that her mother arrives fast.

"W-What did you mean by our life is in danger until you sit on the throne?" Anne suddenly asked him.

"So you don't even know what's going on. Well, you are in for a shock then. You seem old enough to know it." Magnus replied and didn't say further.

*DOOR OPENS*

The queen alone walked in. She had no idea what had happened and had just woken up from her sleep after Magnus arrived out of nowhere. But when she saw her daughter sitting there with a pale frightened face she knew that she messed with Magnus.

"What did she do?" She asked him.

Magnus took a seat, "You didn't put a leash on her in time and she overstepped. She tried to frame my mother by taking her to a club, getting her drunk and taking forced pictures of her with a male stripper. Mum is pregnant, and your daughter dared to pull such a stunt? I have killed dark wizards for even knocking at my door, she's lucky to be a part of the family or the same would have happened"

The queen gasped in shock. Such audacity of her daughter was astounding to her. "I thought I raised you to be better than this? They are our own family. What did you expect in return?"

"I... I was just helping John..." she muttered.

"That boyfriend of yours. I told you to end it with him. He's the kind of person that leaches on its host and kills it. He is using you to create trouble for the family and in return, he gets to have exclusive controversial news that sells. His father runs his own newspaper and channel, did you not know this?" The queen sternly scolded her.

Magnus took note of it. "Then consider that newspaper and channel gone. They live on sensationalising news, even going as far as fabricating them. They deserve no space in this business."

Magnus decided to leave, "Tell her about the curse. And from now on, she must not get even a single pound from the royal treasury, she must not get any help from the family to live her high-class lifestyle, her accounts will be emptied by morning and if you helped her, you will face a PR blunder of astronomical height. Good night."

He vanished with Dobby. The queen angrily looked at her 24-year-old daughter, "I have been trying so hard to improve my relations with him, and here you are, derailing all the progress I have made. He did not even call me Grandma Liz today."

"But... why is he so important? You can choose the next king or queen by yourself, you said it yourself." Anne argued.

The queen sighed, "So this was your motivation? To spoil their name and get in front of the line to the throne? Let me tell you one thing, the next king has already been decided. It was decided a thousand years ago. Magnus is the true heir of King Arthur and by the will of Merlin's magic, if we don't let him be the king and if we harm him in any way, that will be the death of us, literally."

"Don't try to scare me with such jokes, mother." the princess laughed.

But the Queen's face remained stern. "You have no idea what could have happened to you today. Now just watch what happens to your boyfriend and his father's business and you will know how strong Magnus really is. In today's day and age, it's not him who needs us, it's us who need him if we want to bring back the royal family to its past glory. Go and apologise to Grace tomorrow, plead with her or lick her feet for all I care but you must get her forgiveness, or you can say goodbye to a comfortable life."

Magnus arrived back home almost immediately. But he had made a small visit to Tom and had given him all the photos from the club, of their illegal activities.

About the newspaper and the channel that was responsible for all this, they would soon find no advertisers and investors, because now the Dragon Holdings, Tonks & Tonks, FuterTek Industries will send out unofficial words that whoever deals with them will never get deals from these companies.

"How are you, mum?" Magnus went to Grace. Even Chad and Summer were sitting close to her in worry.

"I'm fine now. Adam just made me some coffee. Come, sit with me here." She pulled him close.

Adam also came back from the kitchen, "George would have killed poor Dobby by scolding him so much. I think he has learned his lesson now."

Seeing both there, Magnus advised them in good faith. "Dad, mum, from now on, you don't have to oblige with any requests any royal family member makes. If you don't like it, just say no. No need to give them a face, as they don't value it enough. Remember, most of them were pampered ever since they were born, they are arrogant and selfish, treat them like how you treat such people. Also, mum, you are pregnant, please take care of yourself more."

Ragnar nodded, "Yes, or else I will have to make so many more tear potions."

Ragnar awkwardly rubbed his head, "Hehe, I put the crying potion... with pepper... in her eyes when I had caught her. Her eyes will be constantly crying for the next three days with burning and itching."

"That is mean, Ragnar. But thank you for worrying about me." Grace pulled him in for a hug.

He smiled warmly and hugged back, "Don't worry, mum. It won't harm her, just teach her a lesson."

But in reality, he was just a few seconds away from pouring a blinding potion into her eyes instead of a tears potion. He only stopped because Grace would find out and be angry with him. To him, Grace mattered the most, as this was the motherly love he always longed for, and now that he had it, nobody will be allowed to take it away.
