10 Downing Street,

In the office, the Prime Minister was busy dealing with the many accusations against him of bribing an official during his initial years as MP. He had no idea how and from where this news had circulated in the newspapers. He was now being constantly attacked by the opposition, being called corrupt.

Then, he found a letter in his name, it was from the queen. She just informed him that His Majesty Magnus was very angry with him for taking all the credit for what happened in South Africa when Magnus did everything.

The Prime Minister lost his sleep after that, he started to have spontaneous attacks of sweating and hyperventilation. Nobody wants to mess with the king, even less so when he's a strong wizard.

*TRING TRING*

The telephone on his table rang, but he immediately felt somewhat gloomy hearing the rings. The ring felt like a demon's mouth, and it was pulling him in.

"Hello,"

Magnus lazily sat on the couch and spoke through the mobile phone. "How are you? It's me, Magnus. I heard you are having some problems, well, take care, corruption is something I despise. By the way, I have sent a report to you. You will be receiving it in... NOW!"

A shocked yelp was heard by Magnus. "Yes, take the file Abe brought. Read it. Recently, I found evidence that one of our generals not only was selling intel to the Soviets but also caused the death of two spies and falsely incriminate an officer for his own crimes. Such a level of corruption at such a high level, and he's a noble lord. I will take action from my side, but you better make sure he gets hanged for treason, and the innocent officer is released. Got it?"

The Prime minister started sweating again. Although these days capital punishment was not popular, treason was one category where if found guilty death punishment was highly probable.

[A/N: In our world, Capital Punishment was banned in the UK in 1965. But death for treason remained until 1998. Currently, in the UK, capital punishment is banned, no matter what crime one committed. Talk about wasting tax payer's money.]

He read the documents carefully and found all of them to be very detailed. The whole relationship between the general and the people sitting in the Soviet Union was clearly proven in the document. Also, some call records and cash transfers were documented and shown in the evidence.

"Your Majesty, I will immediately handle this matter. Thank you for investigating this. This matter is above politics, it concerns our national security." The Prime Minister said in urgency. Magnus just agreed and put the phone down.

After that, Magnus called his people to the Warner Brothers. He had personally sent a secretary to work with the company, she outranked everyone because he was the big boss. He told her about the news and gave tidbits of clues that would not jeopardise the investigation.

*Sigh* "I should go and start packing my bags. Man, I hope I get a cute sister soon, I will have reason to run away from my school then." Magnus muttered and went to his room.

Cokeworth, The Midlands, England

Severus was having some fun time with Lily today, as from tomorrow he'd be going back to school and there they don't really get much time to meet each other.

"Haha... Sev, do it again." Lily laughed and requested.

Severus nodded and swung his wand. In an instant, a few cartoon-ish small palm-sized translucent holographic puppets appeared on the floor, they started to beat each other and each punch or kick would make clown horn sounds.

"We can also fight each other using them. I think I can make it popular at school as the best pass time game." Severus thought.

Lily nodded vigorously, "Yes, it'd be funny if someone turned it into a real competition."

"It can be, after all, your ability to control your avatar depends on how good you are at magic. The better you are at magic, the stronger and more sophisticated your avatar can be. Here, look, I will make one that looks like you." Severus flicked his wand again.

Soon, a new figure appeared. It was a girl that was obvious from its figure as well as its long hair. However, the puppets didn't really have any face or colour. They were like ghosts, but with no faces.

"AAA... Sev... why am I naked?" Lily blushingly asked him, seeing her puppet.

"Everyone is naked, Lily. They don't wear clothes. But, I believe if I can work on the spell a bit more I can make it so there can be colours. Then we will be able to have clothes. And why are you blushing? It's not like I made it fat or something, it's as fine-looking as you." Severus just threw an underhanded compliment.

Lily was not dumb, she knew what he did and also accepted the compliment with a simple blush.

"Well, I should head back now, Lily. Will see you on the train tomorrow." Severus waved goodbye and left her house. His home was just a few minutes away so he calmly walked.

~This school year, I will create more potions, but not the improved versions of old potions. I will create totally new potions. 3... 3 potions seems like a good target. Magnus is doing so much for everyone, we should also contribute to the Order.~ He planned and reached home.

"Mum, I'm back." He announced as he entered.

During the past 2 years, his relationship with his mother had been mended. Now, they were just like any normal mother and son, happy and caring for each other. For Severus, Eileen was his emotional anchor, and for Eileen, Severus was motivation to do better. Their existence was important for the other one.

"Mum... where are you?" Severus shouted again and looked for Eileen in the kitchen.

But, he didn't find her anywhere. However, his eyes fell on a box on the dining table. It was not supposed to be there. And neither had he seen it in the house before.

He opened it. There was a white folded paper. He felt tense and with shivering hands opened it. He was having a very bad premonition and hoped it would be wrong.

"NO!"

His face paled as he read the letter. His pupil flickered. "Mr Severus Snape, your mother is with us. You should know who "Us" means. If you want to get her back safely, do as we say.

We assure you that your mother will be given the best food and the best room with all the amenities. This is... as long as you cooperate. If you dare to even contact that mud-blood prince then we will know by the increased activities. We have eyes everywhere, Mr Snape.

And once we see you have done something against us, your mother will be handed over to some very nasty men... she wasn't used to being this pretty before, it seems your newfound wealth has done wonders. Those men will have fun violating her back to her past looks. She will cry to be killed, that we assure you.

So, be a good boy, and touch that box and say, "Hail the Dark Lord" It's a portkey to us. Do it quick, because under 5 minutes after opening this box, if you don't come, we will do what we just told you.

We will await your arrival."

*THUD*

He lost his balance and bumped into the wall behind him. His face frowned and frightened at the same time. Just when he was loving to be around his mother. Just when she started to treat him like normal, this happened.

The face of his mother flashed in front of Severus' eyes. Her smiling face, which was lost until 2 years back. He clenched his teeth and fist and stood up. He decided to go there and see what they wanted. He will think about the rest later.

With a jump, he grabbed the box and chanted, "Hail the Dark Lord!"

*WOOSH*

Unknown location,

It was dark, it was also foggy. Severus had no idea where he had arrived. In Britain, it was still day, but here it was night, which meant he was somewhere east of Britain, in Europe.

He looked around in frustration. There was nothing, nobody. Just a forest, and some empty area with a few graves where he stood.

*CLAP CLAP*

Out of nowhere, 4 men appeared, all wearing masks and big robes. They were Death Eaters, he knew it.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT? WHERE IS MY MOTHER?" Severus loudly questioned. He was relatively calm though. A normal person would have launched at them.

*BAM*

A red light hit Severus, throwing him a few feet back in the air. *THUD* With a painful groan, he slowly got up.

"You shall only speak when spoken to or ordered to. Hah... did you think your precious mud-blood prince will be able to protect you forever? He's nothing but a proud pretentious boy, he's destined to fail." A man wearing a skull mask with an elongated head spoke.

Severus saw the man's long, ashen-blond hair and scoffed, "Huh, Lucius, right? I remember your voice, there's no point in hiding your face from me. Don't worry, I won't call you ugly."

"YOU!" Lucius took off his mask and threw it to the side. He strode towards Severus with an angry face.

Severus immediately took out his wand. *WOOSH* Immediately a disarming charm hit his hand. There were 4 death eaters, after all. Death Eaters, not simple dark wizards.

*CLENCH*

Lucius knelt in front of Severus and grabbed his face with his leather gloved hands. He clenched so tight the gloves and Severus' skin made a creaking noise.

Lucius was trying to cover his anger but it wasn't working very well. "No no no... didn't you remember what I said in the letter? You fight us, your mother gets to have some fun with my men. And let me tell you a secret," He came closer to Severus' ear and whispered, "They're all werewolves, fresh out of the jungle, their bodies filled with violent energy. You can guess how gentle they will be with Eileen."

Severus gritted his teeth in anger so hard they started making a loud noise. But this was music to Lucius. "HAHAHA... I like it. That anger, fear, hopelessness. I love it."

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Severus glared at him. His voice full of frustration and agony. His eyes had reddened in anger, but he could not do anything.

Lucius stood up and looked down at him, "You should rejoice, Severus. The Dark Lord wants to personally meet you. It's your lucky day."

[A/N: Voldy was being too silent all this time. But he should have guessed it was not good to directly confront Magnus, as he had too many safety nets. Also, Voldy has planned something, and for that, he will need Severus' aid albeit forcefully.]
