《Start With Contracting Sprites》Chapter 51: Expert At Making Money, Little Su Hao

"Lin Mingzheng is largely similar. He is a descendant of the Lin family of Sprite Trainers."
Liu Ren said, "It is said that even before the birth of sprites, the Lin family was already a prominent family.
"Later, the appearance of sprites had a shocking impact on many industries. However, the Lin family not only did not decline but successfully transformed into a family of Sprite Trainers. It is said that there are several Sprite Masters in their family.
"Lin Mingzheng's initial sprite is a Clockwork Puppet, a rare Metal-Element sprite with unknown abilities.
"His other sprite is also a metal-element type. It's a Prancing Lion, but Lin Mingzheng rarely makes a move, so…"
He had no information on him.
Liu Ren's remarks for these two people were that they were the most mysterious and most dangerous.
Apart from them, Su Hao also saw a lot of information on the top students from Yunhua University Affiliated High School and Yunhua First High.
They were a little weak!
"Old Su, why do I feel that this is a one-sided fight?
"Seriously, although it's the joint examination, why can't they find some weaker schools!"
Su Hao shook his head.
"I think you should stop collecting intel, or else you will hurt your confidence!
"Besides, for the most dangerous opponents, you don't have much intel on them. You are not very competent as an intelligence expert."
"I am also desperate!" Liu Ren cried and said, "The stronger their sprites, the less action you will see from them. Even if you drop tens of thousands, you won't get any valuable information. You can't throw money at those Sprite Trainers… they don't lack money!"
When Liu Ren finished speaking, he saw Su Hao staring straight at him.
"How much did you just say?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Tens of thousands? The information!"
"Not as much as tens of thousands. 10,000, 5,000, 2,000… for each person's information."
Liu Ren's voice gradually became softer as he spoke.

In contrast, Su Hao's eyes lit up.
"Apart from you, is there anyone else who is buying intel?"
"Yes, why not? You want to sell intel? Information on our school is worthless… And those that I have are also worthless as second-hand goods. Also, for those thinking of buying intel on Yunhua University Affiliated High School, why would they look for us?"
Su Hao could tell that Liu Ren didn't care about this small amount of money.
It was expected.
However…
"What if it is detailed information? Such as sprites' spiritual force data, their specialties, the unique skills that they have, etc."
"How is that possible… You can really do that!? Are Sprite Cultivators that sick?"
Su Hao smiled and said nothing.
A Sprite Cultivator could do some of these things, but it required observing the sprites carefully, which was very tedious.
He was different.
He absolutely wouldn't need to take a second glance.
Su Hao has carefully considered the idea of making money, for… three seconds.
He had made a lot of money and was not as poor as before.
But he had also spent more than one million on Silkworm Baby and Little Fire Crow, and would need to spend even more in the future!
His balance had not been increasing.
Furthermore…
"Do you think I wanted to make money? Am I such a crude person!?
"We'll sell intel and expose the information on top sprites so that they can be targeted… You know, for this joint examination, everyone is… Most people are aiming for the rewards. When they have the chance to get rid of a competitor, they will not hesitate even if it's their schoolmates."
The Sprite stream students in Yunhua First High alone were more than An City First High, Ping City First High, and Xingyuan High School combined.
Students of Yunhua First High only considered their schoolmates and students of Affiliated High their competitors. Schools such as An City First High were not taken seriously.

Most of the intelligence sellers would also target students from these two schools.
Su Hao's reasoning convinced Liu Ren.
"Since you are agreeable, I will be responsible for collecting intel, and you will be responsible for selling them. We shall split the profits equally.
"Don't refuse, your task is very important. You have to figure out who you want to sell the intel to. It's best to make the transaction a secret and keep a low profile."
"What about the price? And, how do we convince them the intel is real?" asked Liu Ren.
"The price should not be high, just three categories—1,000, 3,000, and 5,000, according to the strength of the target sprite…
"How to make them believe? You can disclose some information first. They must have collected some information already, and could compare to determine if it's real."
Liu Ren nodded as he smiled excitedly. "Yes, I can do that. Hurry up, we don't have time to waste!"
Liu Ren headed out happily with Little Charcoal Tortoise.
Su Hao followed him out of the door and saw that it was empty around him. He then stepped back and shouted into the room, "Is anyone who wants to go out?"
"Gurgle!"
"Squawk!"
Silkworm Baby wanted to stay at home.
As it was Little Fire Crow's first trip away from home, it was keen. It flew and perched itself on Su Hao's shoulder.
The village's streets were filled with Sprite Trainers and their sprites.
There were students from the five schools who were preparing to take the entrance exam, together with some other Sprite Trainers.
However, it was not difficult to differentiate them, Su Hao only needed to look at their school uniforms.
Just by a glance, Liu Ren, the intelligence expert, had already identified some highly dangerous competitors.
After walking past several streets, the two found a place to sit down.
Liu Ren looked around furtively before lowering his voice and asked, "That's it?"
"I have recorded everything here."
Su Hao pointed to his head, only to get a word from Big Face Liu.
"Sick…"
Su Hao shrugged. He stared at the panel and found the recorded information. He then cleared his throat, "Prepare to record."
He glanced and saw that Liu Ren had already taken out a small notebook.
"Male, Thread Spider Sprite…"
Liu Ren thought for two seconds, and quickly jotted down two words, 'Cai Yangbo', and then the spirit's name.
"The spiritual force is 95 to 98, its leg strength is rather developed, and the unique skill mastered could be Steel Needle…"
Liu Ren recorded the information quickly as Su Hao spoke.
He went on to mention the second target.
"Female, ponytail, Big-Eared Rabbit Sprite."
Without even thinking, Liu Ren quickly wrote the words, 'Shan Qiuyu', and recorded down the sprite.
"Spiritual force…"
The two worked together and quickly recorded the details of the top eight students and their sprites.
After they were done, Liu Ren's fingers were sore. He couldn't help but sigh. "Impressive, Old Su."
Su Hao did not feel anything.
This was just a basic operation.
Rather, Liu Ren was very good at identifying people.
"Let's move on to our next stop."
They traveled to many places in the village, such as training grounds, cafeterias, and also places outside the village like the regions near the primordial forest area.
It was a pity that they couldn't proceed further, and could only gaze at the large area of the tall, dense forest.
"Let's go to the battle hall next. However, the battle hall is a public area. There shouldn't be anyone there before the joint examination."
Su Hao was wrong.
Before reaching the battle hall, they heard some shouting in the distance. In the battle arena in the center, two Sprite Trainers were commanding the sprites in a fight, surrounded by a big circle of students…
Su Hao saw his schoolmates.
Before they got near, there was a loud bang.
A sprite was sent tumbling out of the battle area. It was completely unconscious and had lost the ability to fight.
