《Disciple, Don't Cause Trouble, Master Won't Leave the Mountain!》Chapter 24: Taking Yu Sisi As Disciple, Are You Qualified?

"Moreover, you want to take me as your disciple, are you qualified?"
Yu Sisi glanced at the old man with disdain.
"Indeed, I am only a remnant soul that lives on the Gu Tong Immortal Sword which will dissipate soon, and I don't have the ability to teach you anything.
However, this sword is the supreme treasure of the Brilliant Domain. With it, you will have the power to surpass the Saint Realm. With your cultivation talent, this will definitely be a great help to you. Don't you want it?"
The old man explained. His expression was filled with pride, as if he had already confirmed that Yu Sisi would become his disciple.
"Old b*stard, didn't you hear what my disciple said? She already has a master!" Jiang Yun slowly walked to Yu Sisi's side.
"You? A mortal? Are you kidding me?" The old man seemed to be a little impatient and glanced at Jiang Yun with disdain.
Then, in front of Jiang Yun, the old man controlled the Gu Tong Immortal Sword and wanted to cut on Yu Sisi to obtain her blood, forcing Yu Sisi to become his disciple.
However, when the Gu Tong Immortal Sword was an inch in front of Yu Sisi, the old man's expression suddenly changed.
This was because he realized that he couldn't move, and at the same time, the contact between him and Gu Tong Immortal Sword had been cut off.
"How disrespectful of an old man!" Jiang Yun waved his hand, and the sword flew directly into his hand.
The old man's eyes almost popped out when he saw this.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible! How can you control my Gu Tong Immortal Sword?" The old man roared.
As it was a spirit body, although it was frozen, it could still speak.
"Yours? This is obviously mine. I picked it up, okay? You are too shameless!" Jiang Yun glanced at the old man.
"You..." The old man was so angry that he couldn't speak.

"Well, you are about to die, but you are still so restless. I will be merciful and send you on your way!"
As he said this, Jiang Yun blew on the body of the Gu Tong Immortal Sword.
The next moment, the old man looked horrified. He felt an inexplicable hot wind that was as hot as volcanic lava. It melted his soul and his soul curse seal that was deeply ingrained in the Gu Tong Immortal Sword.
"Ah! Ah! Ah! What have you done?" The old man's body became more and more transparent, like glass that had been burned by high temperature.
"Sterilizing!" After saying that, Jiang Yun increased his firepower.
"Bang!"
An invisible sound of a soul breaking sounded in Jiang Yun and Yu Sisi's minds.
"The parasites are killed. This sword is clean now."
Jiang Yun raised the sword again and gestured a few times. He sensed that the power contained in the sword had become extremely weak. With a slight fold, the sword would just break.
Since that was the case, a good idea came to Jiang Yun's mind.
He activated the second halo and started his evolution ability.
In the next moment, the dim bronze longsword continuously repaired itself at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Very quickly, it transformed into a brand new longsword with a green edge. The black body of the sword now flickered with a dazzling cold light.
"What a beautiful sword!"
Seeing this sword, Yu Sisi's eyes instantly lit up.
The bronze longsword was now very different from before. It couldn't even be called a bronze sword anymore.
After all, it had been strengthened. The sword spirit in the sword had also evolved again. It was much more powerful than it used to be.
Of course, if Jiang Yun wanted to destroy the sword, it could be done easily without any difficulty.
The sword was useless to him, he also didn't set his eye on it.
It was just right for Yu Sisi.

"Here you go." Jiang Yun threw the sword to Yu Sisi.
"Thank you, Shifu!"
Yu Sisi received the Gu Tong Immortal Sword with a face full of pleasant surprise and said.
"If you drip a drop of blood, this sword will give birth to a sword spirit that is connected to your soul. At the same time, you can also take over that so-called inheritance. It's a free gift."
Jiang Yun said indifferently.
...
At the foot of Mount God of Heaven, a middle-aged man with a powerful aura was looking at the peak of the mountain, chin up and chest out.
The man was wearing a mink coat and he looked domineering.
Beside him was a woman in red. Her face was enchanting and vicious, and she didn't seem to be a kind person.
"Master, the light that came from the sky yesterday should have landed on this mountain," the woman in red said softly, her voice was extremely feminine.
The man nodded.
"I've never seen this mountain before. There have been too many strange things recently, so I have to be careful. Follow me and don't go away beyond 10 feet," the man said.
The red-dressed woman laughed disdainfully, "With Master around, who would dare to do anything to me!"
The man frowned and glanced at the red-dressed woman.
The woman's expression panicked, and she rolled her eyes, "Alright, I know!"
Suddenly, a cold light flashed in the man's eyes. He said in a deep voice, "Since you are here, show your presence. Why are you hiding?"
The woman in red was stunned for a moment and then looked around.
"Haha, I didn't expect that the sect master of the Tyrant Sword Sect, Li Feiyu, would also come to this badland?"
A white-haired man with a bright face and two subordinates walked out from both sides.
They naturally also came towards that ray of light.
"I was wondering who it was. So it's Cult Master Wang!" Li Feiyu shouted heroically.
Wang He nodded slightly with a smile.
"If you, Xuan Ying Cult's cult master, could make a trip here, why not me?" Li Feiyu said coldly.
"Have you found anything, Sect Master Li?" Wang He shrugged, then glanced at Mount God of Heaven with a smile.
"You'll know once you go up!"
After Li Feiyu saying this, he put his hands behind his back and went up. The woman in red also followed him hurriedly.
Wang He stroked the white hair on his forehead, narrowed his eyes, and sneered in his heart. Then, he led his disciples to follow him.
When they were a few hundred meters away from the top of Mount God of Heaven, Li Feiyu and Wang he were stunned.
They didn't expect that there would be a courtyard on such a high mountain.
As they got closer, they also saw Yu Sisi sitting cross-legged on the ground, communicating with the sword spirit in mind.
Suddenly, the Gu Tong Immortal Sword emitted a strong light.
"Hiss"
Li Feiyu and Wang He's pupils suddenly contracted, and they took a cold breath.
The sword's body was flowing with light. On one side, it transformed into the sun, moon, and stars, and on the other side, it transformed into mountains, rivers, and plants. It had a majestic immortal charm and extraordinary magnificence. The words "Gu Tong" were imprinted on the hilt of the sword.
"This sword is a immortal destiny!" Wang He widened his eyes in excitement.
At this moment, Li Feiyu's eyes revealed a trace of greed and fervor.
"This sword... is an immortal sword!" The woman in red behind him had a shocked expression. She seemed to have sensed a trace of aura from the immortal sword.
"Sect Master Wang, first come, first serve. This Gu Tong Immortal Sword belongs to me!" Li Feiyu took advantage of the moment when Wang He was excited and directly rushed towards Yu Sisi.
Seeing that Li Feiyu was the first to take action, Wang He snorted and also quickly rushed over.

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun. Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
