《Disciple, Don't Cause Trouble, Master Won't Leave the Mountain!》Chapter 85: He Zhao's Escape

He Zhao couldn't care less. He struggled to pull his hand out of the chain, but he didn't have any strength. He could only rely on the momentum of the falling to pull himself out. The chain was pulled so loudly by his movements.
He Zhao was afraid that someone would hear the sound and come back. He was even more anxious. With a push, he miraculously pulled his hand out of the iron ring.
He Zhao kept up the effort and pulled out his other hand. However, he suddenly lost his support and slipped into the water, forcefully choking on a few mouthfuls of dirty water.
He Zhao became even more awake from the choking. He tried his best to swim to the shore. He was "swimming", but it was more like using the buoyancy and the little bit of power to float forward.
It was only a few meters away. He Zhao swam for a quarter of an hour. During this time, maggots and unknown black parasites kept emerging from his shoulders and waist. They were all pushed out by the buoyancy of the water. These bugs were floating everywhere in the water.
He Zhao finally swam to the shore. He used all his strength to climb out of the water. He could already see the color of his clothes hanging on his body in rags. It was almost as if he was wearing nothing.
"I can't die, I can't die, I want to live, live..."
He Zhao crawled on the ground and squirmed outside while mumbling to himself to cheer himself up. He didn't want to die, he wouldn't die!
When He Zhao finally climbed out of the Flowing Cloud Pavilion, a stream of spiritual energy from the sky brushed past him and landed on the rockery next to him. Many pieces of the rockery that had been blown up and hit his back.
He Zhao resisted the urge to make a sound. If someone were to come, with his frail and crippled body, he would probably be killed immediately.
The He family's main residence was so big that he couldn't climb out by himself at all. He Zhao was a little anxious, lying on the ground and looking for anything that could take him away.
Just then, he heard a conversation, scaring He Zhao so much that he quickly hid behind the rockery. The two men were the He family's servants. They ran over in a panic.

"The treasures of the Treasure Pavilion have been taken away by those people. There's no room for us. Let's quickly look for any good items in the drifting cloud pavilion. Don't let them be robbed again."
"The Flowing Cloud Pavilion has been destroyed. What else is there?"
"Shut up. Are you really willing to leave empty-handed? Go and find a box. They don't take large items. I'm afraid this is all we can find."
"Alright."
After a short conversation, the two of them began to search separately. In a short while, they found a red wooden box inlaid with pearls that was half the height of a person. It was placed on an empty space not far away from He Zhao.
He Zhao looked at the box and his heart pounded wildly. His chance had come. He waited patiently. The two servants would collect the items and put them here after a while. Most of them were expensive fruits, plates, and vases.
He Zhao carefully remembered what they had taken. Finally, he saw the servants carrying a luxurious carpet. The two of them argued over it. They felt that the carpet was too heavy and took up too much space.
But they probably didn't have anything good left. In the end, they left the carpet behind and planned to go and collect another wave.
As soon as they left, He Zhao desperately squirmed his body toward the box, holding the carpet in his hand. The two of them had directly lifted the box to make sure that the carpet occupied a lot of space, which made it very convenient for He Zhao.
He Zhao climbed in with great effort, trying his best to shrink his body so that he did not take up too much space. Then, he laid the carpet flat on his body. It was pitch-black in front of him. Before he could breathe a sigh of relief, he heard two hurried footsteps.
He Zhao held his breath and didn't dare to move. The two servants returned empty-handed. Perhaps because they were flustered and angry, they didn't think much about how the carpet had been placed into the box.
As they put the things into the box, they complained, "These cultivators really didn't even leave us a decent teacup. There's nothing left. What a bad luck!"

"They're getting fiercer and fiercer. Don't delay any longer. Let's go."
"Strange. Is this carpet so thick? It's actually full. I remember that we didn't fill half a box just now."
"Alright, it's thicker. We can cut it into small pieces and sell it."
"You're right."
The two of them put everything into the box, but it was still somewhat impossible to cover it. A servant directly sat on the box and pressed it down. He Zhao, who was already suffocated by the pile of things, almost died on the spot.
A few of his bones were directly crushed. He Zhao bit his lips hard, and blood instantly came out from his lips. Fortunately, he did not scream.
The two servants jumped in fright, thinking that he had crushed a vase. They thought that the carpet at the bottom should not be broken because it was so thick.
Another stream of spirit energy hit them, scaring them so much that they did not have time to open the box and tidy it up. They hurriedly found a rope to tie up the wooden box, then picked up a wooden stick and carried it away together.
Feeling the box shaking, He Zhao let out a sigh of relief. He let go of his lower lip, which was bleeding from his bite, and quietly pulled back the carpet covering his head. He found it difficult to breathe in the pile of groceries.
The two servants went around the battle zone without any danger. They boarded the small boat and left the He family's territory in a wobbly manner. The two gradually relaxed and even had the leisure to watch the battle scene.
"That bird is gigantic. I've never seen a demonic beast like that. It's very beautiful. It has cyan feathers, long tail feathers, and a few hairs standing on its head."
"Damn, what does these magical beasts have to do with us? Ordinary people like us are destined not to have any contact with these magical beasts. We can only rely on doing chores for the cultivators to survive."
"Yeah, we can only watch from afar. Tsk, the fight is really terrifying. The elders of the He family are almost finished by him."
The two people quietly watched Kong Li eat people. They didn't have any emotions in their hearts. He Zhao thought of their description in his heart. This... is a peacock? But wasn't he already killed by Jiang Yun?
Could it be that there were other peacocks here? Or could it be that Jiang Yun really didn't kill that peacock at that time but took him for his own use. This way, it would be even harder to deal with him.
Even in such a situation, He Zhao still wanted to kill Jiang Yun at all times. He had an inexplicable intuition: he had to get rid of Jiang Yun as soon as possible, otherwise, he would definitely become a big trouble in the future.
He Zhao was deeply worried in the box. Suddenly, he heard two servants talking about He Gu and Qin Mingzhu.
"The new young master just happened to go back to Qin Island with the young madam to save his own skin. He dodged a disaster. He's really lucky."
"Not necessarily. Think about it. Before the two of them left, the He family was still the number one family in Thunder City. Once they came back here, their home would be gone."
"If that's the case, wouldn't the Qin family be at a great loss? They just hooked up with the He family, but now the He family was gone. They even wasted a young miss. They wouldn't be at a great loss."
"Sigh, this is really true."
Then, the two of them began to plan their future whereabouts. There was no more information.
He Zhao was so angry that he vomited blood when he heard the news about He Gu and Qin Mingzhu. He didn't know when the two of them had gotten together behind his back! Especially Qin Mingzhu, who stabbed him in the back.
"If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have become like this. I will definitely take back all the pain I have suffered from you one by one. "He Zhao's eyes flashed with hatred and viciousness. It was as uncomfortable as the poison of the abyss.

Whilst the never-ending war between Man, Beast and Mutant rages on, most are not even aware of a war that happened between men. Its prophecies shattered, their remnants surviving only in obscure bard tales. One is about to grow. On the cracked face of the world, Essence storms and Beast Waves keep the citizenry locked atop the Emperor city of Qaelang. Knowledge of the past is as rare as the metals that flow into the hands of Sacred Artists and at the root of it all are whispers of a malignant force, ancient and terrible. Holding humanity back from achieving greatness, but hiding too are secrets best left untouched. Balance, discipline and order have held Qaelang secure since time immemorial, the powers within claiming to adhere to them. None are more fearful of change than the ones with the most to lose, but change is coming. Blade of Wuxia is a long character-focused epic fantasy with progression and growth. It's about a boy's quest to become powerful enough to save those he cares most for and give them a better life. It's set in a world of hidden pasts and uncovering them will set him on a path that shakes the Empire. As this is a rewrite that took on a wildly different spin, reviews are most welcome and help me do better. What can the reader expect? A Wuxia society set in a High fantasy world. People are only doing what they know and may have mistaken beliefs. A clever resourceful protagonist with human flaws A far-reaching hidden fantasy world, rich in history. Multiple points of view are used to follow the story to its natural conclusions, not every NPC has all the answers, but there is one MC in this book. Progression will take time and sometimes even unknowingly. MC is not trained in the ways and knowledge must be tempered against experimentation. Release Schedule. 2 chapters a week, family and work permitting. Only if I'm happy with the chapter will I release it. That being said I am open to revision should an articulated critical response show merit. This story is not completed yet but I do have a general idea of what the end looks like for both MC's (yes both) Ultimately feedback will be most influential on the progression of release as it's you guys I'm looking to entertain. Expected Changes None really, I'm writing as I go and have a path planned for 6 books Chapter release rate might change if we take off and feedback starts flowing, but for now, it is just about making sure Arcs flow smoothly onto the next. Cover, yes absolutely! If there is enough interest I will open a Patreon account and use the first proceeds to commission an EPIC cover and hopefully a few scary artworks of our brave Cultivators and the foes they face.
