《Secrets of the Universe 》Chapter 7: Mira

Jake shouted the name of his helper, "MIRA!"
Being the spirit of the dungeon, Mira controlled the two sides of the dungeon; the chaos side and the order side which were created by the Dark Godslayer, Master Zero, and his wife, the silver war goddess, Mistress Viktoria, respectively.
Mira could control the order energies generated by the dungeon, which were better as the Dharma collection was not enough for him.
"I'm here", Jake was blessed with the machine-like voice of Mira, who appeared in the form of a girl beside him.
"You know what you have to do, right?" Jake probed her. Even though they have already gone through the stages a million times, it wouldn't hurt to ask her.
Mira cooly said, "Yes."
"Ok, then let's start."
Mira glowed with a silver light as she directly placed her finger on Jake's forehead.
Jake saw her sad expression, 'So she cares after all'
He stared right into her eyes and promised, "Don't worry, I won't die."
Struck by the sudden promise, Mira fully activated her ability.
Silver streams flowed from the dungeon to Mira, who directed it to Jake's body.
The silver energy washed Jake's body. He couldn't help moaning, which made Mira blush, but he had to ignore that as she couldn't be distracted.
The silver energy glowed inside Jake. It chased away the naughty chaos energy slowly out of Jake's body.
As silver lights were going into his body, deep purple lights were coming out, which were in turn suppressed by his bloodlines' manifestations.
It wasn't after a huge purple orb came out of Jake's stomach region that Jake felt the stage was successful.
His body was temporarily not producing any chaos energy, but not for long. It would back soon and in a more savage manner.
Swiftly, Jake took the item necessary for the next stage, the Cosmos seaweed and the Elixir of Open mind.
Both would be absolutely useful for the next stage, the Primal Spark Stage.

The Cosmos Seaweed would help relieve his pain at an astronomical level, while the Elixir of Open mind would strengthen his mind, it also had a hidden function, which would be told later.
The Primal Spark Stage was the next. Like its name, it involved the use of Primal spark.
The mixing of order and chaos will lead to a primal spark. A phenomenon that happens at the birth of a universe.
It was a form of Primordial Chaos. Its sole goal is to create via destruction.
The Primal spark is a volatile and destructive energy, while also carrying astonishingly creative attributes.
....
After the cooldown of his chaos generation went, a purple light appeared in Jake's right eye, it met a silver light there. The silver light started mixing with the purple light.
The mixing process created an intense reaction with the other energies present, which made Jake sigh in defeat, 'I'm fucked.'
The mixture ignited a spark of lightning which triggered a chain of reaction.
The whole chaotic space rumbled, hymns could he heard like as if it was the end of time.
Spatial storms were being generated like flies.
Mira was amazed by the phenomenon happening, but she knew what she had to do. With great difficulty, she created a barrier around her and the sack bag containing the other items. She thought about shielding Jake, but then she realized it would probably get destroyed.
The spark ignited the second time, which increased the level of the phenomenon. A dark cloud covered the whole chaotic space, expanding to various worlds in the universe.
The spark ignited the third time. This time the ignition was brutal, tearing away Jake's right eye first.
"Ahhhh!!"
Jake screamed at the top of his lungs till his vocal cord was damaged.
He had never felt such pain in his life. The spark destroyed his entire body beyond an atomic level. Furthermore, the destruction kept spreading, it moved to his left eye until it swallowed his whole head.

Even the cosmos seaweed and the elixir of open min could only lessen the pain by a bit.
Jake kept thinking the pain would probably not last long, right?
But he was proven wrong, the pain was eternal!
It crept down to his organs, eating them away. With his senses, Jake could feel them. They moved like soldier ants eating away his cells, atoms, molecules. They weren't going for the skin at all.
The pain further intensified when the destruction started to destroy his core.
Jake was left gasping as his soul, and mind was torn apart.
"Make it stop. Please, make...it stop. Make-- " He was interrupted by another burst of pain.
At this point, Jake thought or barely thought, that he was playing an arcade game where if he finished a level, a more difficult level would appear.
Jake wanted to die. Even death was better than this.
The destruction reached all parts of his existence, even his bloodlines. The manifestation disintegrated which made Jake experience a whole nother level of mental pain. The bloodlines were a part of him, always watching over him, even though he could not access them. To have them disappear in such a brutal way nonetheless was way more than he could endure.
It was a miracle that he could even think. This was the effect of the Elixir of Open Mind which strengthened the mind. So every time his mind was torn apart, it would glue back together due to the elixir. The cosmos seaweed also helped as without it, Jake was sure he would have died to the pain.
....
The primal spark kept spewing destruction. It reached every part of him, body, mind, and soul.
Erasing every trace that he had ever existed.
It only cooled down when there was nothing left except for his mind.
Wandering. Lost.
It was said that the body and soul were shells for the mind. That without it, the mind would be left vulnerable to the vast world.4
That was what Jake was experiencing.
...
Mira saw Jake vanish, She thought he was dead.
Throughout her time with Jake, she had been suppressing her emotions. This was because she had seen a lot of Sons of Chaos die, though none had ever reached Jake's level.
The dungeon had accommodated more than fifty sons of Chaos, and they all died.
At first, Mira was always happy with them. She was hopeful and jovial but seeing them die one after the other broke her. So when she saw young Jake, brimming with energy, she already condemned him dead. She had watched him grow, thinking he was just another meteor that was bound to explode.
Yet, he was unique.
He was the only one to complete the New Dawn Scripture.
In truth, he was the most promising son of chaos.
Even after her long years, Mira was still a young girl at heart, as Item spirits take long to mature.
She could only endure so much pain, which led to her outburst.
"Don't you dare die? Weren't you the one that said you will survive? Young master!!!!" She screamed from the depth of her heart
It was unknown whether it was her scream or not, but a blue light appeared in this empty space.
Mira quickly brought out the items that were important for this stage.
Yes, Jake had already progressed to the next stage. The moment his mind simply existed in the chaotic space, it was a sign of the next stage, the Subsistence Stage.
The items needed at this stage were the Flask of Serenity and the Pills of Gyna.
Quickly, Mira threw the two items at the dimming blue lights, which then turned into a faint blue hue that kept glowing.
Strangely enough, the almost unnoticeable blue hue moved like it was breathing.

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.
