《Secrets of the Universe 》Chapter 212: The Silver and Purple Ruplix

Kaleyx tried to digest the massive piece of information that Jake threw at her.
She couldn't imagine there ever being a full-on celestial in the first dimension Yet, Jake never lied.
If he said there was one, then there was one. Coincidentally, that one just happened to have a history with Jake.
She made sure to remember all of the names on the ranking that Jake listed.
While she couldn't do anything with just names. It wouldn't hurt to know who was powerful or not.
After Jake was done, she continued munching on her food.
However, in between eating her food, she once again heard Jak's voice, "Kaleyx, there is news about the ships."
Instantly, her face sharpened as she looked at him.
The ships.
That was what they came here for!
"What is it?" Kaleyx furrowed her brows.
"Apparently, they have already begun sailing. The first ship was months ago and it was filled with their precious academy students. Funny enough, it is explicitly implied here that the first ship was special. Rather than water, its mode of transportation is air. So, it flew," mused Jake.
It was not wrong for an organization to prioritize the younger generation first. It was also exactly as he had speculated.
He read half a page and gave the summary to Kaleyx, "Unfortunately, it was their only airship and it could not come back due to the inconvenience and the distance between the two continents. After the airship, multiple normal ships began to take sail. This evacuation plan had been going on behind the scenes for months and now, the sect is almost empty. However, there are still ships that are leaving but they are in numbers. This time, as long as outsiders have the money they can board one. Also, they have like ten last-minute ones for those that don't have the money and are present in the vicinity," revealed Jake.
He went on, "These free ships are kept lowkey to control the ruckus that would happen when they are unveiled at the last minute. Also, the sect master said that the evacuation plans would conclude in three weeks. That means that the time slot they gave themselves is directly related to the outbreak of the netherans. Going by that idea, it can be said that in a month, everything would have gone to ashes and there will be no more chances of survival. Now, the sect acts as a means to survival, but sadly, their resources are limited. Every day, our statistics show that more and more people are coming to the sect in hope of survival despite not having the coins to pay for it."

As soon as Jake finished talking, the two of them sighed immediately.
They finally understood the magnanimity of the situation and it wasn't looking good.
However, they had already secured a ticket. It should be safe for them and it wasn't like the sect would deny them of it after completing the bounty.
Jake downed his cup and walked to the window side.
'As usual, the clouds are still extraordinarily blue,' thought Jake
Yet, seeing it now, it was a bit different from the rest. These omnipotent formations of clouds had already begun gaining a tinge of re on their edges.
The corruption was almost here!
He closed his eyes as he tried to still his mind.
Yet, he couldn't help but think of the overall situation.
In his mind, they were like cows. They were being baited by the farmers to move to a desired location.
They thought less of whoever was in control.
The way he saw it, Necro had something planned up. It was clear for all to see because they were too passive.
Moreover, when they flattened the southern kingdoms, they weren't a bit passive. Yet, Talos, the sub-head of Necro, implied that it was merely a quarter of their entire arsenal.
If a sub-head was assigned to each continent, then where was the main head?
How organized was this organization and what was their endgame?
There were too many questions to be asked. After all, not everything made sense about the mysterious organization.
However, Necro had proven to at least be the voice of the minority. This was how they infiltrated each kingdom and increase their numbers.
Some people seemed to despise their lack of cultivation talent, which in turn dictated their lack of talent and lack of control over their lives. They then turned their heads to whoever could provide them with power.
Looking at it objectively, Necro wasn't an organization, it was a movement!
Jake finished up the entire newsletter and gave his opinion to Kaleyx, "We just need to make sure we are on the right side. I fear our real chances of surviving the entire ordeal are half of what it looks like"
He went to his drawer and brought out his small pouch. It jingled with any small movement, indicating the material that was hidden inside.

This small pouch was the one Jake used to hide all the items he stole from Aztec. Inside the pouch were multiple [Spatial Rings].
As he had a goal in mind, Jake brought out a particular [Spatial Ring] from the pouch and extracted a silver crystal from it.
Meanwhile, Kaleyx watched as he did everything.
She couldn't help but ask when she saw the strange crystal, "What is that?"
"Ruplix Gem, also known as the stone of judgment. It is an extinct crystal that forms at the closest place to an earth's core. It is legendary for just its effect. Anything made with the ruplix would have a dampening attribute. It would dampen the physical strength of whoever touches it. It would prevent the person from using its energy. It would slow all brain functions. However, the effects vary on the quality of the crystal," responded Jake
He had personally experienced the effects of the ruplix.
Back then, when he was captured by the surviving Aztec crew, he was bound by a rope, which was quite strange itself.
However, it turned out that the rope wasn't just any rope. It was a rope that fully prevented him from ever escaping.
He had always wondered what made the 'magic rope' so special, but after a lot of examinations, he realized it was the dust sprinkled on it that enchanted the previously normal rope.
It was akin to fairy dust as it produced a supernatural effect even to warriors like him.
A while after escaping, he had found what the dust was made from. It was the ruplix, a granulated form of the gem.
Now that he had seen it, he reckoned he had something that would require a special item like this.
"You want to use it on your custom weapon?" eyed Kaleyx.
"Yes," replied Jake
She warned, "If what you say is right, how are you sure you wouldn't fall under its effect when wielding the weapon?"
"You are right, but I have a contingency for that. Everything in nature as its corresponding counteragent, Ruplixes are not spared from this grand law. You see, every time a silver ruplix forms, a purple ruplix also forms. The goal of the silver ruplix is to dampen, while the goal of the purple ruplix is to support. Together, they operate at their optimum. The purple ruplix helps negate the effects of a silver ruplix on a living being, but the purple ruplix is an edible substance. It can only work when swallowed."
"This is an interesting turn of event," smiled Kaleyx.
Edible minerals were the hardest to come by as their make-up is the rarest of the rarest.
It could even be argued that the method of swallowing was possible a suicide method as any substance that enters the body has to be broken down into little bits for the body system to work on it.
Jake continued, "It is a test of will and worthiness. After swallowing the purple ruplix, the last thing one would worry about is the natural body reaction. Instead, they will find themselves facing great pain. Their bones will soften. Their body systems would start failing. Their organ will stop. Every part of their body, both physical and spiritual, would feel an excruciating pain that feels like the extraction of one's bones. Worst of all, the purple ruplix will start to dissolve into an acid substance inside the stomach. It would burn the innards of a person, making them wish they were dead. But all is not for naught. If they manage to resist the allure of dying after going through all that, the crystal would finally disintegrate and get absorbed by the body."
He took a short break before going on, "Astonishingly, the body would evolve to something much more stronger than it previously was, Along with that would come an immunity to the effects of the silver ruplix. But the greatest benefit is the increased potential of the body. As long as the body was taken care of, it would continuously grow stronger"
