《Genocide Online ~Playtime Diary of an Evil Young Girl~》Chapter 26: North Underground Passage 2

Rena: “I see~”
I logged in and advanced for an amount of time after beating the boss while pondering would this area be eventually submerged if the seawater keeps leaking from somewhere?
Because I have set the game to be realistic and it manages to scare me, I tried investigating for the source. It seems like it’s coming from that blue quartz.
I can’t imagine that there could be something that gorgeous inside a boss room that is in the bottom of the layer…
Player: “…yes, that’s right.”
Therefore, I’m currently threaten-…..asking a player who I happened to pass by. Apparently he seems to be from a group called the inspection team.
Player: “Why is the Genocider here…? No, it’s not that strange, though…”
Rena: “…is there something wrong?”
Player: “ーーー!! N-No! No! Nothing!!”
I was just asking as he was muttering something, but he’s strangely sitting upright, you see…
Rather than that, who is this genocider? Did he mistaken me for someone?
Player: “…umm, you can release me anytime now…”
Rena: “You’re convenient so please follow me.”
Player: “Ah, yes.”
There seems to be a lot of information to take, so let’s squeeze out what he has been investigating.
This kind of opportunity is valuable to me as I don’t have any interaction with other players, you know?
Player: “That’s all the information that I got about the place where you’re heading to,『Belzenstock City』…”
Rena: “I see, thank you very much.”
Unlike the 『Town of Beginning』, 『Belsenstock City』, which I’m currently aiming for, is a shipping city that is brimming with many bays that serves as harbors.
Various goods are gathered from all over the world, including people. Hence, it’s also called a city full of slaves.
Rena: “The slaves are supporting the people’s lives, I see…”

Player: “Yes, that’s about it. They are the ones who do all the work. Not just heavy work, such as carrying luggage or cleaning the sewers, but jobs that no one wants to do as well.”
It seems like the slaves were not illegal by law and it was an everyday occurrence where the slaves rebelled against their master, but ever since the current lord ruled the territory, the pressure against the slaves has become stronger and they are only guaranteed barely minimum necessities for life. Seems that, it’s an “I can just own another one even if they die” kind of situation.
However, thanks to exploiting the labor force of slavery, the city prospered even further, and the support from the middle class and above, such as the wealthy people, seems to be stronger as well.
Player: “…Umm, Genocider-san.”
Rena: “…Are you talking to me?”
I thought he’s talking about someone from a while ago, but it seems like he’s talking about me, yes?
Player: “Eh? didn’t you know? You’re a celebrity among players, you know?!”
Rena: “…that seems to be like it, but my name is not Genocider.”
Why does it have to be Genocider… Well, I could probably guess the gist of it after remembering that I have done PKs and such inside the city.
Player: “Then, what should I call you…?”
Rena: “My name is Rena, so please call me that.”
Player: “Ehh?! Then the name of that ridiculous party that the first one to capture the Underground Tomb wasーーー”
Rena: “―――Your tongue or throat? Which would you like to be cut?”
I heard a rash remark that I could not pass, so I put my dagger into his mouth and approached his face while giving those choices.
Player: “…………Ahm schowweh..”

Rena: “…Well, that’s fine.”
I’ve been taught various things from him so let’s overlook it this time…
Player: “*cough* *cough*…t-that was scary…………”
This person is exaggerating too much, yes? It’s interesting to see it, but it won’t be like this every time, right?
Player: “…wait, Rena? I think I have heard it somewhere?”
Rena: “? Wasn’t it the party name that captured the tomb, like you said?”
Player: “Ah, no, that’s not it, I’m talking about the real world…”
Rena: “Well, it’s not that rare of a name so you don’t have to worry about it, yes?”
Player: “………………If I look closely, I think I have also seen Rena-san’s face from somewhere… (*mumble* *mumble*)”
For some reason he’s pondering while mumbling something with a small voice… I can’t hear him perfectly, but I’m not that interested by it, so let’s leave him be like that.
Rena: “In any case, I’m going ahead now.”
Yuu: “Ah, please wait! I will die if you leave me in this depths! By the way, my name is Yuu! I haven’t said it, right?”
Rena: “I see, let’s go.”
I advanced ahead alongside him hurrying and following me.

The Blackgloom Bounty
In the dark days before the end of the first millennium, Scotland (or Scotia as some called it) was a leaderless hodgepodge of tribes, clans and warring factions all bent on the same thing--domination of the land. Wizards, sorcerers and magicians still plied their trade, though much of their power had given way to the machinations of men and their war machines. To the south of Scotia lay the realm of the Saxons ruled by Ethelred the Unready and his ruthless minions. To the west, Ireland had just come of age. Everywhere else the constant threat of a lightning swift Viking incursion loomed over the land.Growing up in this lawless world is a displaced Daynin McKinnon, heir to an ancient familial keep on the island of Rhum. He and his grandfather Ean scratch out a living amongst the Saxons, careful never to divulge their clan heritage. That all changes when Kruzurk Makshare chooses Daynin as the ideal prospect to help him bring down a vile sorcerer named The Seed of Cerberus, ferreted away in his impregnable fortress at Blackgloom. Little does Kruzurk know that in so doing, he will launch young Daynin, himself and others on a vast, dangerous quest that no one could have foreseen. *****One Hollywood producer has dubbed this three book fantasy epic from Jon Baxley as, "BRAVEHEART meets THE LORD OF THE RINGS." Real places, people and events flesh out this fast moving, multi-faceted semi-historical series but fear not fantasy readers. There's more than enough of the magical, mystical mayhem you have come to expect from great fantasy. Romance readers, too, will enjoy the 'spice' in these characters--and there are a lot of them--both human and otherwise. And if you're into Viking lore, this series certainly is for you. When someone asks the author about his series, he answers with, “There were far more surprises in this tale than I ever expected and it's not over yet! This volume and the next two contain hundreds of pages filled with rollicking good times, fast moving action and a page turning adventure you will not soon forget."Books In The Scythian Stone Saga:THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY Episode 1 - 500 pagesTHE REGENTS OF RHUM Episode 2 - 800 pagesTHE SCIONS OF SCOTIA Episode 3 - 800 pages
