"So that about sums up what happened..." Kyle had finished explaining what happened yesterday, meanwhile Kobayashi San was touching her forehead with a palm.

Kobayashi San stared at Tohru and spoke. "So you're really a dragon?"

"Yes!"

Kobayashi San didn't know where to start, everything was just too hard to believe. Meanwhile Kyle stood up from his seat and spoke before her.

"Since I'm done explaining and done with breakfast as well, I will now have to go work so… umm take care of Tohru, plz, Oba-san!"

Kobayashi San immediately replied. "Wait! Wait! You're leaving her here with me?!"

"Yep! Unlike you, I don't have a regular job, besides you have a bigger apartment than mine and you're also financially stable. I don't see any problem in you sheltering another person."

"E-even.. so.." Kobayashi San shifted her gaze to Tohru, who was fidgeting in her seat, acting shyly.

It would be a lie to say that she wasn't wary of Tohru's existence, she was a dragon, after all! A very real, living dragon from the legends!

But seeing Tohru's actions, she felt more like a human than a dragon, Kobayashi San simply sighed and spoke in resignation. "Fine! I'll take care of her okay?! But you also have to come here and help me take care of her!"

"I'm okay with that, but she isn't really a child that we need to take care of her like that, you know? Just help her with the basics and she'll manage."

"That's not what I meant!"

"I know, I know… I'll come back this evening, okay?... so, Ummm, see you later Oba-san and Tohru?"

Kyle was looking forward to Tohru's reply, and replied she did albeit in a meek tone. "Mhm.. l-later Kyle..!"

Tohru blushed a little as she spoke to Kyle, in all honesty, she felt weird and flustered while talking with Kyle, she didn't feel the same while talking with Kobayashi San, they were both girls so there wasn't any shyness in talking with her.

But it was different with Kyle; he was a boy, there was inherent shyness in opening up and talking with a boy, moreover Tohru felt her speed up, whenever she tried to communicate or even look in the general direction of Kyle. His every gesture made her heart flutter in an unknown feeling she couldn't comprehend which made it doubly hard for her to talk with Kyle. Tohru didn't realize yet, but she was showing the symptoms of a maiden in love.

Kobayashi San noticed something in their gaze and behavior, she grinned as she realized that something was going on between them.

"Oho~ I see~! It makes sense now! I'm rooting for you both!"

"Oba-san! This is definitely not what you think it is!"

"Yeah, yeah whatever, go now or you'll be late to your work for sure."

Kyle knew that her aunt didn't believe him, but he decided to not waste any more time about it, he reckoned he'd do something about this later and so immediately went to his work.

Meanwhile Tohru didn't understand anything, she was completely clueless about the conversation between them, she had an, animated, huge question mark above her head.

After Kyle was gone, Kobayashi San stared at Tohru with a smile filled with motherly affection, after all, she might become her nephew's wife in the future, indirectly making her a daughter figure in her eyes.

All of her wariness disappeared completely, she didn't really care about Tohru's race anymore, as long as both of them had mutual love for each other, Kobayashi San wouldn't be against it.

Deciding to help her nephew for a bit, she spoke in a loving tone. "Tohru, right? Hey, answer a question of mine will you? Do you like my nephew, Kyle?"

Tohru's mind went blank for a moment, after processing what Kobayashi San meant for a long time, her face started to heat up completely as she came to a realization about why she had such a hard time being around Kyle.

"I-I like him?! N-no... BUT THAT'S!" She was in an internal conflict about this, Kobayashi San's words made her realize that she indeed had genuine feelings for Kyle.

Never had she thought that the humans she had surmised as greedy and evil would be the one to invoke the feeling of love in her.

Tohru just covered her face in shame and embarrassment.

Kyle arrived at MgRonald without getting late, he sighed in relief, it wasn't that he was afraid of getting a lesser wage but he was more afraid of the aspect of getting scolded by the restaurant's manager!

She was very strict individual, and she was extra strict when it came to punctuality, her tongue was so vicious that a normal person would be depressed for a few days after getting scolded.

After changing his clothes into a MgRonald outfit, he already received a takeaway order.

He didn't waste any time and went to do his job as a normal delivery boy.

After almost six hours of delivery, he had already delivered 20 takeaway orders!

His co-workers and manager were very surprised about this! Usually, Kyle could only deliver 7-8 within a few hours.

But today his efficiency was 3 times more than usual!

It was all thanks to the enhanced reflexes he acquired from Esdeath's skills and the assurance of the enchanted MgRonald outfit! He could speed up as fast as possible, he wasn't afraid of accidents nor getting injured.

He just finished his last delivery order for the day, after this, he could finally end his shift for today.

Kyle wondered if he would have to make a delivery to another world today too.

Though delivering to another world made his otaku blood excited, and seeing the satisfactory face of the customers were fulfilling, he was more into the rewards!

He changed his clothes to a casual one and immediately said his goodbyes to his co-workers.

Kyle decided to buy some meat from the supermarket for today, he drove there using his red scooter.

A full minute later, he arrived at the supermarket. It was near his workplace, so it only took him a minute to arrive.

He parked his scooter and  immediately went inside the supermarket to buy meat without wandering around for extra items.

Men had the tendency to be straight to the point. They would only do what they had come there for and not wander around unlike women who would wander around the whole market and essentially buy the same thing a man would buy 5 minutes.

Few minutes later Kyle was out of the supermarket with a plastic bag in his hand. He immediately went towards where he parked his scooter.

When he was about to turn his scooter on to go on his way, he heard some disturbing noises.

"Little miss~! Want to have fun with us?"

"That's right, that's right~! We onii-sans are going to assure you that it's going to be super fun, if you come with us!"

Kyle shifted his head towards the origin of the voice, it was in a remote corner of the supermarket where he saw 2 thugs harassing a little girl with blonde hair styled in a twin tail!

Normally, at a time like this Kyle would've called the police but… he changed his mind because he wanted to test his combat power.

Also he figured he could save the little girl from these degenerates paws as an extra.

"Hey, you guys! Stop harassing the little girl! You bunch of lolicons!" Kyle used the taunt skill that he was sure would work on these muscleheads.

"Huhh?!"

"Ya got a problem with that kid?!" Both of the thugs stared at him with a pissed expression.

As he thought, it was super effective! 

The blonde little girl also looked at him with a fairly surprised expression, normally someone wouldn't help a person in this situation and just watch the show from the sidelines; a sad yet true reality of human nature.

Kyle went forward and answered. "Not really, but I have a problem with you two, shitheads!"

"Bastard..! I'm going to kill you!" The thug no. 1 was totally enraged!

"You take care of that kid! While I'll take care of this little girl huhuhu~" He stared at the blonde girl with a lewd expression only those degenerate pedophiles and lolicons would make.

Thug 1 suddenly took out a dagger from his pocket and held it with his right hand.

Then he saw Kyle trembling, he smirked thinking that Kyle was scared to see him take out a dagger.

But unexpectedly Kyle burst out in loud laughter. "PFFT- AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Thug no. 1 got startled at his unexpected laughter and shouted angrily. "What are you laughing at, bitch?! Do you think it's funny?!"

Kyle slowly wiped the tears from his eyes, he started to calm down and smiled. "Sorry, sorry I can't help but laugh at the way you held the dagger! Hahaha damn! What are you trying to do with that? Clean your ears or something?"

The main reason why Kyle laughed was because the way the thug held the dagger was telltale signs of a beginner, a newb who didn't know anything about dagger arts.

The Dagger Mastery from Esdeath had the proper and near-flawless method of using the dagger, but to see someone holding a dagger as the thug did, he couldn't contain his laughter and disdain at the thugs amateurish use of the dagger.

"You bastard! How dare you make fun of me! Die, bitch!" The thug couldn't control his rage anymore and dashed towards Kyle!

While Kyle stood at his spot smiling, compared to the oversized boar from Akame Ga Kill this was next to nothing!

The thug was about to stab his dagger at Kyle's stomach, but Kyle saw this coming and easily dodged it, locked the thug's hands and stole the dagger from him.

He spoke lazily. "It's dangerous to use something like this, so I'll be confiscating this now!"

After his lecture, he kicked the thug hard in the balls with just enough pressure to make him faint immediately and do some damage to his family jewels.

Kyle thought 'It was easier than I expected... even though he's stronger than me… he doesn't know how to fight someone properly, the full utilisation of your strength with technique is really essential in fighting it seems.'

Done with his thoughts, he decided to take care of the other thug who was supposed to harass the blonde girl!

However, to his surprise, he saw the thug laying on the ground unconscious while foaming from his mouth.

He came to the realization that he wasn't dealing with a normal girl but maybe an anime character, which got further confirmed as she spoke with a Cheeky grin.

"Yo! You're not bad! Thanks for saving me, Onii-san.!"

Kyle smiled bitterly and replied. "I don't think that you needed any help in the first place!"

"Awh! Don't be like that! Oh yeah, I'm supposed to introduce myself. My name is Hatenko Meru! And onii-san, what's your name?"

'That name feels familiar, another anime character I'm sure, but where…?' Kyle contemplated as he heard her name.

But regardless, he replied to her questions. "Nice to meet you Meru, you can call me Kobayashi Kyle."
